- 1Charyn National ParkStop: 48 hours - Admission includedYour adventure will start in Almaty in your hotel. After meeting with your guide you will go to the Charyn canyon, road will take approximately 3 hours. On the way, you will stop at the road market in the Baiseit village and see locals live in the roadside villages. You can also walk through the market and taste fruits and bread. Throughout the road you will see picturesque landscapes. In the Canyon, your guide will show you the best view points and take you deep into the Charyn Canyon. After 3 km walk you can relax near the Charyn River and have lunch. Returning back to parking you will go to the Hot Springs. In the second part of adventure you visit the Hot Springs in Chundja region, a great place to relax and pleasures. There you will stay overnight in a hotel with open area swimming pools. This is really a mini oasis in the middle of the steppe! It's nice to sit in a warm outdoor jacuzzi in the open air after a hike in the Charyn Canyon! This area you will spend a rest of your time. You will have a dinner, breakfast and lunch there. After lunch you will visit the Moon Canyon and start your come back road to Almaty (approximate 4 hours) Highlights of the tour: Barbecue in open air, relaxation after off-road near Charyn river, Eco Park visiting, walk inside the Charyn canyon, hiking in Charyn canyon, visit a road market in Baiseit village, relax in Hot Springs open area swimming pools, walking inside Moon Canyon. Ruslan is such a warm personality and highly motivated guide (recommendable!). The tour was extremely good, very flexible and for that he deserves a special thanks. We had two great days which obviously also added up to the experience.
We truly enjoyed exploring the magnificent Charyn Canyon on our first day and Moon Canyon on our second day. The Chundja hot spring was a great way to end the tour on our first day. All respect for Ruslan who does a great job there, a true example of an excellent tour guide!
