    Super City
We were Sofi's first guide and she did really well coping with two very tired stressed tourists after very long day Although we arrived 45 minutes late she still gave us the full 2 hours in which we achieved exactly what we wanted to familiarise ourselves with the city and select the points of interest for future visit S

Local insights customized on the fly
Our guide was a total delight and gave us insights that only a local would know. The fact that he spoke Welsh let us into places guarded by surly ladies that he could charm. He was also very responsive to on-the-fly requests to see areas that might not have been part of a standardized tour. Highly recommended!

Our guide made this an unforgettable tour!
My husband and I had the pleasure of booking a tour with Lokafy and were lucky enough to get Tony. We spent a delightful 2+ hours touring downtown Cardiff, including several "secret" spots, unknown to many of the locals. He even included quite a few "Dr. Who" locales, which pleased my husband immensely and hadn't been on our itinerary. Tony was a wealth of information and a delightful host! What an introduction to this lovely city!!! And, thanks to Tony, we have lots of photos to help us remember this very special day. Thanks for everything! Alicia & Robert Solano, California, USA

Review of Catania like a local
This was a two hour walking tour. While our guide gave us a good sense of the city and took us to many interesting places, she was not a licensed guide. We booked our tour for 2-4 not realizing that many places are closed for their lunch break. So if you are interested in seeing the local churches you should book a tour earlier. My one complaint was that the guide moved the meeting location from the City Central Square to a McDonalds. While a google map was sent with the change, it is hard to find locations when you don't know the city. We finally had to go to the information center to get directions.

    Excellent local guide.
Agatha (spelling?) was wonderful. Her local knowledge was excellent and we saw many interesting places in a few hours. This was a great way to get an overview of Catania and we also had a super lunch at a place she suggested.

Learned more about life in Zurich
We spent a day with Mariona, a very pleasant knowledge young resident of Zurich. She showed us around the city. More importantly she became a friend and gave us a good insight into what life in Zurich is like. We had one day, after a river cruise to explore Zurich. We saw everything we wanted to see in a leisurely compact itinerary set up by Mariona. We were not bogged down with a bunch of facts and dates we would never remember. She was knowledgeable about the history and customs of the area and answered any questions we had. We communicated with her several times before we met so that she could get a feel for what we were interested in. After my experience with Mariona and Lokafy in general I would definitely use them again. As for Lokafy they are easy to communicate with either by phone or by e-mail. Before our trip we were given a contact phone number and e-mail address, for our guide, so that we could communicate directly with her. She met us at our hotel and showed us a great day.

    French Flavoured Strausbourg
Our Viking river cruise from the Swiss Alps to Paris featured an excursion to Strasbourg that shares French and German culture. We drove through the German Imperial District and the European Quarter, home of many institutions of the European Union and the Council of Europe. I was amazed at the Renaissance architecture and the picturesque Petite France area, the former Tanners’ District surrounded by the small Ill River and crisscrossed by charming canals. We saw the Old Customs House and covered bridges with defensive towers. In Cathedral Square, we were awed by the restored Strasbourg

Private tour of Boston-you get what you pay for
I would not recommend this at all. The “tour guide” we had is not really a local and has only been in USA for about 5 years (from Mexico). She could not even pronounce many of the important words about Boston, let alone tell us about the culture/history. She very slowly (I kept asking her to pick up the pace - and she wouldn’t) took us along the freedom trail and got many of the landmarks wrong - or just made up something based on what it looked like. She was very quit and I had to repeatedly ask questions about some of the sites (which she didn’t have any answers for). I got more value out of my parking fees than his tour. Download a walking self tour on your phone and follow it- you will get much better information. Do NOT take a chance on some random “local” that claims to know something about the town.
