The easiest and fastest way to get from Osaka or Kyoto to the Haneda airport is to take the Sankasen from any city west of Tokyo to the Shin-Yodohama station, get off, walk about 100 yards to the exit, go UP one flight starting across a bridge and take the first elevator on the left, or the stairs, back down to the street level, and walk down past two or three other bus stops to the end, where the Handea express stops every 30 minutes (25 and 55 past the hour), and takes you directly to the airport terminals, stopping at all 3, for 1,000 yen as of September 2024. Takes ooobout 30 minutes depending on traffic. You need cash or an IC card, they do not take credit cards as of September, 2024.

The driver established communication the day before and maintained same before pick-up. Transfer was on time and accomplished with no problems.

Operator contacted us to get our flight info and told us exactly what to expect. Driver let us know he was waiting in the terminal and sent us a photo of a landmark to look for where he would meet us. This was very helpful in that there seemed to be dozens of drivers holding signs with passenger names.

Our driver was waiting for us with a sign as we exited customs. We had a short walk to the parking garage where we boarded a van with very comfortable seats. Our driver was courteous, professional, and efficient. He dropped us off right outside our hotel in a timely manner.

The Airport Taxi Transfer company were a complete disaster at Narita Airport. Along with two other couples, who booked and paid separately, the Transfer was not there and we were left to provide alternative transport. They claimed firstly that it was not a meet and greet but as per our April booking it clearly was. Secondly they tried to ring our Australian mobile number but didn't include the country prefix. They also claimed they were there but the three groups searched for over 2 hours looking for the driver. There could have been more groups left stranded. The problem, I think arose due to us not being able to get through Customs and Security in their allocated time. However Airport Taxi Transfers have not provided the service and on 3 requests to do so have not given a refund . It ended up costing me A$530 to get to our hotel, 3 house late.

We were cruising around Japan but first we wanted to spend a few days in Tokyo before joining the cruise. We contacted HolidaysinJapan and Ada took care of all our transfers: from the airport to the city centre hotel, from the hotel to the cruise terminal and finally from the cruise terminal back to the airport. All the transfers were dealt with in an efficient and professional manner. Excellent cars and excellent and courteous drivers who could speak at least some basic English which made communication easy as we don’t speak Japanese. All the drivers arrived on time and took us to the right place with minimum of fuss. Our experience is that this company is very trustworthy, very efficient and are able to tailor the delivery of the service to meet the customers’ needs. I strongly recommend it as a great service provider.
