This my husband and I second visit to Japan and we decided that we wanted to go back to the Nara area and visit the park and various temples and shrines. Our guide was very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and amended his template to fit in with our needs. We visited Kasugataisha, The Kohfukuji Central Golden Hall and National Treasure Hall and the Todai-JinTemple as well as walking through Nara Park and seeing all the deer. We both enjoyed ourselves and the tour was a great day out.

Hiro Chikata is a wonderful guide who made our day very special. Hiro worked hard in the lead up to our tour to offer a bespoke agenda that suited our needs. We opted for a city based tour of different city areas and managing the subway stations. It really helped the rest of our trip making us more comfortable navigating the city ourselves. We really enjoyed our day with Hiro and would recommend him to anyone.

We were so lucky to have Yuko as our guide. We spent a very special afternoon with her touring the sites around Ground Zero leaving a lasting impression on all of us. We enjoyed everything from start til finish. Yuko is very personable and a great communicator. We can only recommend!

We had a wonderful day with Kiki. He was knowledgeable, and we had a full day of seeing a beautiful temple with intricate wood carvings, a shrine, and the Imperial Palace. He shared with us some sites with us that were not the typical tourist sites.

Kenji K. was an outstanding guide. He reached out to us ahead of time to confirm the schedule and was very patient with my older mother. He made sure she had plenty of time to rest and recoup in the heat. I would highly recommend booking this tour. My only complaint is that I should have booked the whole-day tour instead of just four hours.

Yugi is a dream of a guide. His enthusiasm for Hiroshima and miyajima was a joy to behold and only matched by his knowledge, empathy and humour being able to cater the tour at the drop of a hat. Highly recommended, 5* without hesitation.

We had a wonderful time with Tachi today. We really appreciated her time, knowledge of the area and her kindness. We loved exploring Asakusa, Sensoji Buddhist Temple, Nakamise shopping street for delicious Mochi, Akihabara, Ueno & Yanaka. Tachi was very easy to be with, she answered all our “tourist” questions and had great time management to ensure we were able to see and enjoy everything we had listed to do. Would recommend her in a heart beat.

We had a terrific time with Kazz (our tour guide) and Mr Adeshi (our driver). I had specific requests and they made it work. They took the time to plan the day, the route, lunch and kept us on track. Kazz was also very considerate of my dad as he needed rest time and breaks. If you are ever visiting Kypoto, Kazz is your man. He is terrific!

Our guide Nori was so kind and helpful. We had previously been to Tokyo back in 2018 but this was our mom’s first trip to Japan. We opted for the private tour for efficiency. Our mom loved Nori and the tour. Although my sister and I had already been to the major sightseeing spots, the historical details and additional information Nori provided during the tour also made the second time to the same places so much more enjoyable than when we had come on our own. Thank you Nori for the wonderful day you planned out!

Tachi-san was an awesome guide. She was very knowledgeable and we saw many great sites in Tokyo. There is no way we could have covered as much ground on our own.

Our tour guide Anne was lovely & very informative. She was very knowledgeable about each place we stopped and made each stop efficient but never felt rushed. The driver was great and the van was always nice and cool. We would definitely recommend Anne & the Japan Guide Agency for a tour of Kyoto.

Our guide Ichiro was excellent! We booked this tour during our honeymoon and would highly recommend. We decided to book a private car for the day which we would 100% recommend if you want to visit places that a bit off the beaten track and makes an 8hr day more relaxing! Ichiro was very knowledgeable, professional, great company and sense of humour and created a very thoughtful itinerary for us so we missed the crazy tourists peak times. You can tell he is also passionate about Japan’s history! His English was very good and we would highly recommend Ichiro!

Katsuomi-san was amazing at every level. The tour unfolded like a perfect piece of origami. It was tailored to meet the expressed needs of my children, wife, and me, and it included visiting temples, cultural sites, and key shopping areas of interest for the kids and my wife. Our perfect introduction to Tokyo even included an amazing dinner with Okonomiyaki that our guide even helped to prepare. Very personable with expert knowledge to explain the historical and cultural elements of our experience. My family and I cannot recommend this service enough.
