Customer service was great. 5 stars. However- the tour does not offer much/any help on the train system. I spent two days taking the train in the wrong direction. Considering that almost every day of the trip has train travel to another city this was not ideal. Hotels were good. Clean, nice and having breakfast included was very helpful.
I booked this tour because I knew it would be hard traveling here speaking no Japanese. YOU ARE ENTIRELY on your own. I paid a decent amount of money and the only things that the tour really organizes for you is a JR pass and hotel reservations which you can do yourself.
That being said- anytime I did have small issues I did get a response within 24 hours. Overall I would not book this tour again. It was totally self guided and I really don’t think it’s worth the money you pay just
For the ease of someone else picking your hotels. Additionally I asked multiple questions before the tour which were incorrectly answered by a customer service
Team that wasn’t local to Japan.
This trip was very challenging for me.

Not as described, alternative trips not available
Tour days are advertised as 8 but only 6
hotels on the trip were good , except Harkone was excellent.
Guide was new , so some information was not forthcoming.
Would we recommend travel talk NO
Misleading advertising, or unethical business practices?
Day 1 ? , not really as we met briefly to talk about what time to bring bags down
Self introduced , no social interaction directed by guide
Day 2 , which actually should be advertised as day 1 !!!!!!!
All information should have been discussed when travelling on the train,?
I will be advising trip advisor the trip is actually from 10 am 16 th to 10 am 22 nd February
It’s a 6 day tour !
started at 10 am at Tokyo station
Told that we could do fish market or imperial palace , we opted to go to train station with guide and do the palace ( wasn’t open )

NONE OF THE BELOW HAPPENED
( Alternatively, you have the
option to view the unique installations at Hakone Open
Air Museum. Finish up the day with an included 30-
minute gondola ride on the Owakudani Cable Car for
views of the active sulfuric hot springs, Lake Ashinoko
and Mount Fuji from above!)
Not sure knowing we were running late and the weather was bad , why we would jump on a cable car then bus to the top of the mountain only to return immediately to catch the last bus back ??????
LOGIC the weather forecast is free and if the idea was to view or even ride the cable car , common
Sense would prevail that it would be a waste of time, but no .
It would have been beneficial to tell us to bring a day bag , as at no time we were told baggage was being taken ahead, stupid not letting us know, no it’s ignorant.
MEALS INCLUDED EVERY BREAKFAST, last 3 day what happened????????

Himeji castle was fantastic, I learnt more ears dropping on another guide
Tour guide at Himeji castle was Japanese????? Why wasn’t an English speaking guide allocated ? So we had Yosi waiting to translate whatever the guide said , ever heard of INFORMATION lost in translation 😢
