This is a weekend-only bus tour departing from and arriving at Kanazawa Station. This tour will visit the World Heritage Shirakawa-go. An English-speaking staff accompanies the tour, making it a safe tour for foreigners as well. The guide will hand out a walking map on the bus. We will also guide you about places to see and souvenirs in advance. Lunch is a Japanese set meal full of local cuisine and mountain delicacies from the Hida region. You don't have to worry about eating, so you can take a leisurely stroll. This bus tour departs from Kanazawa Station at 9:30. Day trips are also possible from Tokyo, Nagano, Osaka, and Kyoto using the Hokuriku Shinkansen or Limited Express Thunderbird. The tour will end at 15:40. There is no refund associated with this. (See notes below) Notes It is no longer possible to take a bus to the Shirakawa-go Ogimachi Castle Ruins Observatory, which was originally planned. Please climb up to the Ogimachi Castle Observatory on your own. About 10 to 15 minutes on foot one way. Paid shuttle bus costs 200 yen one way (payable locally).
