          Do NOT use Tourist Jordan
Do NOT use Tourist Jordan. The night before my tour was to begin, a Sunday night, I received an email at 20:00 stating that Tourist Jordan could not accommodate the tours scheduled on day #2 and days #4-5 which was Petra and Wadi Rum because they did not have enough people sign up. For an additional $108 and $188 they could do a private tour. The customer service number was an area code in New York, USA. A seven hour time difference plus offices would be closed on a Sunday evening. I sent an email. A response was not received until 10:00 on Monday. Finally a phone call followed. I stood at the baggage pick up in Amman, Jordan airport discussing this problem with Tourist Jordan. Actually I spend 1.5 hours in the Amman airport waiting to figure out what to do since part of my package was the hotel room for my stay in Jordan. I wanted to cancel the entire tour since Tourist Jordan could not accommodate 50% of what was scheduled. I was informed they require 30 day notice. Bruno, a supervisor, called me to remind me of the terms of the tour. When I questioned the situation he abruptly hung up on me. I was stuck using Tourist Jordan. The first tour required me to take a taxi from the hotel that was part of the package to a different hotel for pickup. I was the only person being picked up from that hotel. The driver/guide was from Jordan Experience. He was great. It seems that Tourist Jordan takes the bookings then farms them out to other companies. Jordan Experience was wonderful. Contact them instead.

          Jordan Adventure
The hotel is in a centralized location with plenty of food options. You are also not too far from main attractions in Amman by-way of 15 minute Uber or Taxi ride. I recommend Uber because most taxis do not have GPS and unless you know Arabic the driver will try and take you to places you may not necessarily want to go.

          Did not get refund.
I actually had to cancel this trip. The company advertises easy cancelation, which I did within the time period specified. Five months later, I have not received my refund, and now my inquiries are ignored. Easy cancelations - don't believe it.

Great tour agent with reasonable price
We had a wonderful holiday organised by Tourist Jordan. We didn't pay for a private tour but ended up with one, which we didn't expect. Our driver Awni took us around in a van with just 4 of us. He was really good, not just a driver but he also explained things about Jordan to us which wasn't really part of his duty. We had 3 different local guides while we were there. A representative from the company called us almost daily to check on us and kept us updated with detail. We travel from Dead Sea, Amman, Jerash and Wadi Rum and all those places are amazing. In spite of the war in their neighbour countries, it felt very safe there. I noticed there are police and army at all tourist site entrances.

Superb Experience! Private 1 day trip
Superb trip. Wanted to see Petra & the Wadi Rum but was genuinely unsure about glamping & overnight stay element that seemed widely offered, especially as we already had a hotel booked, which would mean unnecessary duplicate cost. One day private tour trip with all tickets included so no hassle seemed like a fab option for us. we got collected on time from our hotel with a fantastic local driver Nadal; who showered us unprompted with water; snacks & pre-selected "clean" toilet stops. He even volunteered for an unscheduled photo stop for us at the Salt Sea. Nothing was too much hassle even though he must have been driving/working for 16hours+. As for the local tour guide at Petra - Mohammad, was brilliant. Knew so much, superb at navigating the locals too so we didn't get too hassled. Really thorough history & experience was second to none. Lunch was hearty at the Sandstone restaurant. Staff were friendly too. Next stop (even though we were a little later than planned) was to the Wadi Rum. Bedouin guide was friendly, even had his small son with him riding up front. Could not take more photo's for us; knew all the tricks & where to take them to get maximum effect. Really welcoming & we were given hospitality - free tea (no hard sell) at one of the local camps unprompted. Honestly, an enjoyable experience start to finish. Not to mention we still managed to have breakfast & be back in time for a late dinner at our half board hotel in Dead Sea. What stood out most to me was that I got instant email confirmation; follow up text messages confirming names of driver etc but also in the middle of the day, the manager called our driver & asked to speak with me to check how our experience was going & how everything had been so far. What a wonderful touch of true customer service! Often rare these days but felt really genuine; enjoyable & really secure trip. Highly recommend!!

Absolutely relaxing stay overnight in Wadi Rum in a breathtaking ‘bubble tent’ followed by the stunning visit to Petra.
Couldn’t have been more chilling and relaxing and at the same time breathtaking. Once in a lifetime event that simply has to be done and experienced.

Van transfer from Amman to Wadi Rum
We hired a transfer from Amman to Wadi Rum, a three to four hour drive. The van shuttle and driver were very good, however tow of the seat belts were broken. As a result I had to sit in the way back and not next to my wife. It was harder to have a conversation on the long ride having to talk over the road noise

          DO NOT BOOK- terrible company
Booked a trip to wadi rum and Petra with this company. Seemed reasonably priced compared to others. Some issues about pick up time differences but resolved with live chat function on the website. Around 2 weeks before our trip was supposed to start our flight was cancelled by the airline. This made it impossible for us to go ahead with the trip. Tourist Jordan boasts a cancellation policy which suggested I would receive a full refund less credit card fees. Had this been actioned I would definitely have rebooked once flights were available again. After several emails, WhatsApp messages, contact forms and live chat attempts I have received no response from tourist Jordan. I have paid >£600 for nothing. Would not recommend at all.

          Avoid!
Avoid this company. My trip was a total mess. I booked with tourist jordan aka tourist Israel a three day tour starting at the dead sea, ending in aqaba. The website looks very nice, but don't be fooled. I joined at the dead sea and there was right from the beginning confusion about the meeting time. When the driver arrived we went to aqaba to meet the group, but they had already left. So we went to Wadi Rum and waited till 5 before we even met the guide who was clearly not able to manage all the people. We didnt have a lunch break. The group we joined was very big. There was not enough space in the jeep for the tour around Wadi rum and we saw only very little of it. Shame, because it is really beautiful. The beduine camp was nice. Then we went to Petra, the tour was overbooked, so the guide had to sit on the floor in the bus. On the way the bus drove at one point on the wrong side of the road. We stopped in a tourist trap shop and arrived in Petra around 11 and it took very long for hotels and entry tickets to be arranged. The tour in Petra was a joke and I was asked to pay 5 jod more for a two day ticket eventough it was included. I got the 5 jod back by contacting the agency. The hotel in Petra was OK. The lunch place they bring you to sells overpriced drinks. The next morning I had to pay extra to get an early pick up to get to Petra. The agent in Petra lied to me and the other tourists about the shuttle to little petra. It is free and included in your ticket. They just want to make more money. I booked the trip to end in aqaba and again I had to fight to be left in the center and not at the boarder. On the way to aqaba, we stopped in the same tourist trap then the day before to buy overpriced souvenirs you can find in every corner in jordan. My advise: Just organise it yourself. Jordan is beautiful and save, but forget this company!

Amouri was all around great. From his driving to his knowledge of the little interesting facts of all the different sights and places, he did an excellent job. Much thanks.

I was travelling solo so I booked this Aqaba-Petra tour at the last minute. I was the only one they picked up from Aqaba but they were well on time and was constantly communicating with me.

The tour itself to Petra took about 3 hrs I believe. It was a very warm day but it was worth it! There weren’t as much tourists as well and when you get lucky you can get some instances where you can get photos of you alone with nobody at the background.

I would like to thank Kareem, our tour guide, who’s been nothing but pleasant during our tour! He was constantly checking one me as I was travelling solo and made sure that I was okay.

Will recommend Tourist Jordan for sure.

It started with our driver coming to get oss right on time and driver us for a couple hours to our guide in Petra. Abdullah our driver was very kind and made us feel welcome and comfortable. He took us to a small shop with a lookout to take pictures.
Our guide in Petra took us along the way, explained the history of Petra, took our pictures and took us through sideways with better views.
Then we were taken for lunch on a restaurant with very good food and internet.
Im very pleased with the tour.

Tour guide, Methqal, was lovely, fun and very informative. His english is perfect. Petra was amazing, could have had more time to explore so would reccommend a two day trip. Plenty of rest stops during the drive and the included lunch was delicious. Defo reccommend!

Everything was just perfect, nice and competent guide, average food quality at lunch. The only problem is the long travel times and transfers due to the long distance between Perth and Aqaba. I definitely recommend this trip.

Travelling with Tourist Jordan / Tourist Israel is useless, TAKE A TAXI TO SAVE YOUR MONEY AND SPEND MORE TIME IN PETRA.
I made a reservation with pick-up at my hotel 15 kms from Aqaba. Pick-up was confirmed in all emails, but the morning of the travel the driver sent me a barely comprehensible voicemail saying he was told to pick me up at Hilton in Aqaba downtown. I thought he was wrong, but this was the "nice" way the agency chose to tell me I should rush to find a taxi (10 JOD) or stay home.
The guide forced the bus to stop 2 times at a shop for 1 hour total, so we were in Petra less than 3 hours, even if we spent all day travelling and the distance is only 2 hours. The guided tour consisted in 3 basic information and many many many jokes, honestly not what we paid for.
Back in Aqaba we were left at the Israel border, so we needed to take another taxi (25 JOD) and the company refused to reimburse us.
Assistance via whatsapp was useless (they didn't know about the cancelled pick-up and wrote me to wait for a driver who wouldn't come) and email customer service was even worse (we would love to reimburse you, but Jordan taxis don't issue receipts, so it is their fault if we don't give you back your money).
if you like to pay for bad service Tourist Jordan is your company.

I have booked this trip which was supposed to start at 9 am. After no one arrives, we call the agency, they pick up the phone and tell us - without any reason - that the tour starts at 10 am. The driver arrives at 10 and he is smoking in the car. Without any explanation, he takes us to the border - opposite direction from the way to Petra. We get told to wait for the main bus, we wait for 45 minutes. The bus doesn’t arrive. We call again; we were told that the bus is coming. We ask when the bus will arrive; the lady on the phone does not know the answers. She promised to call us back. She doesn’t call us. The bus arrives and tells us we need to wait longer for the rest of the group to arrive. We have now waited for 2 hours and 5 minutes for the tour to start - all valuable time we could have used at Petra. I am very disappointed and caution everyone against using the provider.
