After spending an entire week in the Okavango Delta on game drives and river cruises, we decided we couldn’t complete our trip without viewing the fifth animal of the Big Five. And we don’t regret it! Bright, our guide for the morning, picked us up from our hotel and drove us straight to the national park to the magnificent white rhinoceros. Once we had got close enough with our safari vehicle we were even allowed to step out of the car and walk up to them in single file to get a closer look. What an impressive scenery to see a baby rhino suckling milk from its mum and then (seemingly) smiling and drooling at us when it was done feeding! Armed rangers live in the park and stand guard for 24 hours to keep the precious rhinos safe from poachers. At this point in time, nine healthy white rhinos are living in the park thanks to the protection of these rangers. Bright is very knowledgeable about wildlife and gave us a lot of background information about animals’ behaviours, eating habits, and living habits. He is highly enthusiastic and even reached out to us afterward our tour to provide in-depth answers to some of our questions. A truly amazing encounter with rhinos!

The rhino walk is an incredible experience that allows you to see protected white rhinos up close. With armed rangers by your side, you can safely get within five feet of these magnificent creatures. It's definitely a bucket-list activity! The operator we booked through was fantastic, and I highly recommend them.

Absolutely worth every dollar. I would recommend this tour company (Dewclaw) for their integrity, their follow through and their commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction. Due to the fact that we booked a few hours before it was scheduled, they did not arrive at 8 am. Instead, after calling, they sent another vehicle just for us at 9 am. The guide, Chilubi, was knowledgable and was excellent! We saw the rhinos and learned about the historic nature of the park (Livingstone city was once inside the park). We had the whole vehicle to ourselves. Dewclaw followed up after our trip to see how it went. Who does that? I told them that TripAdvisor double billed us and that I had initiated a refund. Dewclaw kept in touch to make sure we received the refund. I would not hesitate using Dewclaw for this and other tours. Thank you for making our journey a memorable one. And Chilubi, I hope one day you can make it to America and see a grizzly bear!

Amazing activity. We saw a Lot of animals and went for a walk to see the white rhinos. It was wonderful, i truly recomend it

Amazing game drive! Our guide Bright made sure he went the extra mile to make everybody happy and we spotted everything we were hoping for. It’s also fantastic to see how Zambia’s efforts with the White Rhinos are bearing fruits and the population is growing!

We called into their office beside Fawlty Towers guesthouse and they arranged for us to do Walking Tour and Sunset Cruise followed by day in Chobe. They were very friendly and efficient and the experiences were fantastic. Great service and good value.

Another wonderful game drive with Dew Claw. Bright our guide was fantastic at finding the animals. We saw a mommy and baby hippo out of the water, 2 different young elephants with their moms, other elephants trumpeting and breaking trees just down the road, a young giraffe after being startled by us then ducking behind a tree and peeking out to see if we were still there. We also saw the water buffalo up close! We used to do self drives but in one morning we see more with Dew Claw than all day by our selves. The icing on the cake is getting out of the vehicle to see the rino!!!!! Highly recommend Dew Claw - friendly knowledgeable staff, on time professional service.

We enjoyed the safari, especially seeing the white rhinos. Our guide Bright was very good. Taxi was 15 minutes late arriving due to another couple not being ready for pick up, but our lodge was contacted so we were aware and the rest of journey ran smoothly. There was an extra fee for us being collected in Victoria Falls, but we were told this in advance.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable and engaging with the group. The tour operator went above and beyond with accommodating our needs. I appreciate that they were reliable, friendly, and detail oriented.

It was excellent! Lacken is very knowledgeable and friendly! We thoroughly enjoyed the drive and the rhino walk. Lacken gave us so much detail about the wildlife we were able to see and local history of the park as well. Felt like we received great value for the cost of the safari. Certainly highly recommend!

Sunset river cruise on the Zambezi was leisurely and a lovely way to spend an evening in Livingstone. We had direct pick up and drop off from our accommodation, open bar and snacks. We saw hippos, croocodiles, elephants and buffalo. On the pricey side with limited snacks, but a great relaxing and enjoyable open bar wildlife spotting evening.
