Go Touchdown tours arranged this stop for us. "Smoke that Thunders" is the native name of the Falls. We were there during the rainy season so the water volume was high therefore the mist was high and the falling mist drenched us even with ponchos. You can see the mist from several kilometers away as well has hear the roar of the falls. This was worth the extra effort to get to Zimbabwe from Joe'burg. This is one of the natural wonders of the world.

I have use this company three times and each time has been better than the last. First I took my family with two small children and Livingstone Lourie Safari made it seem effortless. Second time around I took my mother who was visiting and the third time I had a large group of friends and family. Each group was handled well. I was picked up from my hotel, taken to the border, enjoyed the services in Chobe and taken back to my hotel safe and sound. The food was also very good.
