I wish this was just a tour, but no. As interesting as it was to learn the history of this town, the woman who guided us was very clear her goal was to get money from the tourists. She had a local show us her home, and then strictly instructed me to thank her (I already had, but she meant monetarily, not verbally). The marketplace was incredibly uncomfortable, as vendors are next to each other and each selling the same things, trying to get your attention. I left as soon as I could, cutting the experience short, as I felt used. I would skip this and read about it in a book.
