So I initially used this company for airport transfer. I walked outside of the airport and found a cab. During my taxi ride on the Zambia side after the immigration stop, Andy, my driver, informed me that other activities were available if interested. I ended up booking Devil's Pool at Livingstone Island and then a spur of the moment Bungee jump in Victoria Falls bridge. Andy was always my driver. In fact, I recommend finding a driver and using them throughout your stay. I found it very convenient that way since there are no ubers in this area. He was very pleasant, professional and always on time. The day before I left, he recommended that I see the Victoria Falls from the Zimbabwe side. Since I was also leaving that day, he took me to the border then arranged a partner to take me to the Falls and wait for me. It was seamless and very thoughtful. I enjoyed my stay in Zambia and Andy made sure of it. Thank you!

The guide canceled on me because he was overbooked, but still have not recieved a refund. Beware of overbooking. I found this to be super unprofessional. If booked there should be no cancelations from the guild.

Superb experience. It is a must visit. Even if you are not keen to take a dip in ANgels pool, still the visit is worth to see the views. Before you reach the island, make sure you change your shoes to the crocs they give and carry the towel. The boat ride to the island is so excited with twists and turns. Once you reach the island you can change into your swim wear and take a dip. In May, the water was freezing in the Angels pool. For Devils pool one has to go in Oct to Dec not in May. The only disappointing part was the breakfast. I am sure they can have better options to serve, specially for the vegetarian guests. The best part was the Hot chocolate

We drove with Andy over the course of three days in VFA. Can’t say enough about his wonderful service. He was so kind, easy to work with and helped us tremendously coordinate taxi’s and drivers on the Zimbabwe side. Prior to traveling, we did not realize the drivers couldn’t drive over the border for both Zambia/zimbabwe. Andy was so so helpful in helping us coordinate rides and help direct us where to go and what to do. He was a huge factor is us feeling safe throughout our trip. He accompanied us through different custom checkpoints, helped us navigate the language barrier and even point out different animals/sites along the way! To top it all off, on the way to the airport Andy made a special trip to show us a drive. Could not recommend Andy and his services anymore. He was phenomenal!

Trips were well organized. Andy was amazing facilitator and helped us with transportation and booking of the tours. We had a piece of mind with Andy. Highly recommend.

This was a great experience that Andy set up for us. He was very professional, helpful, courteous and an overall good guy. We used him for a number of different tours as well, including the helicopter ride over the falls. He was responsible for all of our taxi rides and transfers in Livingstone, Zambia. It felt like he was our personal local guide for our trip!

DO IT. Absolutely great experience and service and worth every cent and more. Devil’s Pool is an absolute must do - incredible adventure and breathtaking views, though it was provided by another operator. Andy’s service was also excellent. Spoke with him over a few months prior to our trip to figure out what could be done in the timeframe (with border crossings and all) and he was very responsive throughout via WhatsApp. The pick up, border crossings and drop off were seamless as well. Would recommend his services to everyone.

We would highly recommend Shepherd Taxi and Tours to anyone who is looking to get around the (many) attractions of Livingstone and Victoria Falls. We chose to use them after being quoted an extremely expensive price for an airport transfer by our hotel (the David Livingstone) and reading all the other recommendations for Shepherd Taxis on Tripadvisor. We were only looking to save a bit of money on our transfer to the hotel but ended up with so much more! As well as the ride from the airport, Andy ended up driving us anywhere in Livingstone (and Zimbabwe) that we needed to go and - as others have noted - was a massive help with the logistics, especially in getting us smoothly through the border formalities when crossing into Zimbabwe. His van was clean, comfortable, air-conditioned and with more than enough space for our family of five (and luggage) and Andy was also a great source of information about all the activities on offer and life in general in Livingstone. If we are ever in Livingstone again, we will definitely call upon his excellent services. Highly recommended, and if we could give six stars, we would!!

We first met Andy in Lusaka from where he drove us to Livingstone aa the flight was full. From Livingstone he took us to Zimbabwe for both the helicopter and walking tours to see the Victoria Falls. He was very helpful with the border formalities. The next day he took us over to Botswana and arranged a boat tour and safari in the Chobe national park. We again had a great day and everything was very organized and punctual. The third day he took us to the Livingstone park for another safari. We got good information and felt he was looking out for us and making sure we don’t pay too much for anything. He is a very nice person and can most likely arrange anything you wish to do. You will make the most of your trip if you let these guys plan your scedule throughout your stay. We had one of our best holidays ever thanks to them. Strong recommendation.

We used Shepherd taxi and tours for our holiday in Livingstone, Zambia with daytrips to zimbabwe and Botswana. Everything worked exactly as planned. Their cars are nice and clean and our driver Andy was very good and punctual. These guys are safe and trustworthy. Highly recommended!

Excellent service and extremely reliable. I have now used Andy and his partner Robbie at least 5 times and will not consider another option Every time I cross the border into Botswana Andy is available... When I return and require help with my bags at the ferry he has already organised someone. Cost is reasonable and great value for money. There are Defintely cheaper options... But in this day and age is your health and safety worth the risk?.... Andy gives peace of mind

These guys are pros! They're incredibly brave and professional. I purchased the tour from Viator which uses the local tour company, Shepherd. Shepherd contacted me via WhatsApp and went through everything with me. For a small fee, they arranged roundtrip transport from and to my hotel in Victoria Falls. This was not included in the tour. I was transported across the border to Zambia. All went quickly and smoothly (maybe cuz it was low season). From there we met up with others and signed some papers. Then a short boat ride on the river which leads to Livingstone Island, which is on top of the Falls. It's beautiful! From there we got ready to walk over to the edge of the Falls where we got into Angel's Pool. It's hella scary but the guys held our hands, literally, and slowly and carefully told us exactly what to do. The whole time they had our phones and were taking pictures and videos of us. Make sure your phone is waterproof or in a waterproof case cuz it may still get wet even though they put it in a Ziploc bag for protection. The spray of the falls is soaking! Afterwards, you're given a delicious breakfast, depending on the time slot u choose. From door to door, my tour was 9:10am to 12:50 pm. It was an experience of a lifetime!

I was only in the Victoria Falls area for a couple days so I wanted to pack in as much as possible and Andy really made it happen. He picked me up at Livingstone airport, booked my Livingstone Island/Devil's Pool visit, organised a Chobe Park safari, took me to the Zim side of the falls, and finally brought me to the Vic Falls airport. Everything worked out very smoothly, and Andy's partners in Botswana and Zimbabwe were almost as great as he is! Overall a wonderful experience for a fair price, I highly recommend Shepherd Tours to anyone visiting Livingstone.
