          Golden Hands Bridge Overrated.
Run from this tourist trap. Take a picture of a picture and say you were there. The “amusement park” atmosphere and facilities are terrible. If you must go, take a Grab or taxi, cable to the top, get a picture and leave.

The main reason you pay 50$
Yes, you basically pay 50$ to see this heavily advertised bridge, which in short time became one of Vietnam symbols, despite country's rich history, great cities and fab landscape. Other attractions included in that ticket are mediocre at best - pretty kitschy French village, ordinary cable car and underwhelming rides. And, that Vietnamese symbol is a theme park bridge. My daughter asked me if it has some historic importance, and was surprised when I told her it was built 10y ago. However, as most of you will come up to see it yourself (like myself) I point down some tips to make the most of your day and not leave disappointed. Despite my intro up, I must admit the bridge is impressive, set in a unique place - often above clouds. It is overpriced, but you'll pay that price despite of that and they know it. TIPS: - WEATHER is the most important factor. Watch the weather forecast for the following days and choose the day showing clear weather, - BE there at 7.30 AM to catch the first cable car up. Website is showing they're open from 7 AM, but this is only for Sun World hotel residents. Outside visitors are let at 7.45 AM to go up, - Grab ride from Da Nang costs around 15$ one way. At 6.30-7 AM it needs around 45 min, later significantly longer due to traffic, - Arriving so early is double effective: you'll have the bridge for yourself (and very few others) and, you'll have more options (time) to have better weather. When we came up at 8 AM it was totally clear with amazing visibility and almost no one around (see the pics). At 10 AM it was totally cloudy with hordes of people. - BUY the tickets when you arrive at the theme park entrance (NO need to do it beforehand), - Buy the tickets WITH BUFFET lunch included. For around extra 12$ you get a real feast at 4 Seasons restaurant. Huge choice of quality food: Viet, Korean, Jap, Thai, western cuisine,...juices and water included, great deal. Have your lunch earlier, before or around noon - at peak times 1-2 PM also huge crowds and fight for food, - Do the bridge first, anyway it's right there when you exit the cable car. After, you have all the time to explore the theme park according to your likings, - To avoid even those few who came with you walk first to the other (further) hand, as everybody will naturally stop by the first hand

          Meh.
Absolutely no view at all. Was completely foggy and couldn't see anything. Kind of a bummer to drive all this way and take the long tram up to see nothing. Fun to climb around the top and grab a glass of wine.

          Not worth the trip
Wouldn’t recommend this trip. So crowded and it’s just all so fake . As a westerner who has visited France many times then it just seems like a plastic playground.

One of the surprise highlights of da nang
I wasn’t really expecting much after my wife booked tour of the hills but it ended out being a really fun day. The bridge was a bit covered with fog but we still managed to nab some great pics. Tips: patience is key. Time your photos for when u see a gap in visitors or groups The escalator down offers a quick picture perfect photo of bridge. One of the surprisingly best spots to see bridge is near the public toilets

Worth to visit! Reserve a full day!
We went to see the Golden Bridge and realized that this is a big amusement park in fact. There is no point to go by tour - just take a taxi, buy tickets and you are free to explore the area by your own tempo. Its worth to take jackets and/or long sleeve shirt as its up to hill and we happend to be in the clouds - 10 degrees cooler than in Hoi An. Definitely very much worth to visit!

The Golden Bridge in Da Nang is very Sexy
The Golden Bridge in Da Nang, a unique architectural marvel, creates a stunning blend of nature and human ingenuity. Stepping onto the bridge, I am captivated by the breathtaking views of the city and the vast blue sea. The sensation of walking on the sturdy bridge, supported by the giant golden hands of the Bà Nà statue, allows me to feel the connection between history and modernity. The shimmering lights create a mystical atmosphere, especially in the evening when the city glows beneath the warm golden hues. I cannot forget the feeling of the cool sea breeze gently caressing my face while standing in the middle of the bridge. This is not just an artistic masterpiece but also an incredible experience that brings me closer to the natural beauty and culture of Da Nang.

          AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Honestly, Da Nang and the surrounding area is littered with amazing places EXCEPT this. The Golden Bridge had been the poster picture for Vietnam Tourism poster for years but this so called attractions is just a worse place. It is located 20km from Da Nang and I thought I can visit the hand only. I was terribly wrong. Visitors had to pay 900,000 VND to board the cable car to the top before we can enter the viewing area. There are nothing significant, nothing historical and nothing of interest about the hand other than the walkway. Since we pay 900K which includes the whole theme park, we queue to play everything. Honestly, skip this. Not that interesting.

Da Nang Disneyland, but great for adults too!
Golden Bridge is basically Da Nang Disneyland, but still very much worth it as it’s beautiful situated in the jungle and you ride many sky trams. Although we don’t have children, there’s lots to do for children as well as adults; minimum height requirement for some activities/rides. Even some hotels to stay in at top op of mountain; I might do that next time. Price is about $30USD per adult and everything, except food/drink included. We planned only a couple hours, but spent the entire day. Went in mid December and recommend sweater or light jacket. Cool in late afternoon.

Disneyland in the clouds, avoid this for sure! Its not an ancient bridge
A total rip off to see some modern Disneyland in the clouds! I thought this was going to be an ancient bridge with some history not a modern creation and some fake french chateaux. Super high price, an hours from where we stayed and we were there just 1.5 hrs and that included the 25 mins cable car ride each way.

A mystical bridge set in the clouds, it’s a must see in Vietnam.
BaNa Hills is such a mystical place and the bridge was my favourite. It’s definitely worth booking a night at the Mercure at the top so you can skip the line and go straight up in the hotel cable car. You also get early morning access to the bridge before the crowds arrive by staying at the hotel.

          So expensive………
So expensive. Charged adult price for 12 year old. She was just on the line for height. Bought tickets. Charged 2.45% on top. Got to cable car station to be told have to wait 10 minutes as our tickets were after 3pm. Unbelievable!

          It was ok
Ok, so I rated this average but it would be between average and good. Its very touristy and I ended up driving a motorbike to Bana Hills from Danang. It was a fairly easy ride and arrived close to 1pm. I had read that if you avoided the mornings, you would avoid some of the crazy crowds. The drive was fine (just got lost once) and pretty decent road. It took me 1 minute to get my $40 cable car ticket and then you get whisked thru the lines to get on the cable car. I got it all to myself and really the best part of the whole thing is the cable car ride to the top. Music in the car, serene, beautiful views, about a 20 minute ride. Even though it was misty/rainy/foggy, when I got out to the bridge there were still A LOT of people for my taste. It's a nice view if you can get photos of the people not in them. I get it, the bridge is all over social media but would I do it again? Probably not as it felt like Disneyland. The young folks who work there are all super nice, and the French village "unique", but it felt like I was in an amusement park. Next time, I probably would opt to visit another site; however I did enjoy that I didn;t have to wake up at the crack of dawn, took my own sweet time on my motorbike and it was fairly easy and less crowds (however I would have hated to see it in full crowds. IMO go see it for sunset if you have the time and much less crowds. Even though I'm glad I took the ride out there, and it was only $40 for the cable car (versus $150-$200 for tours) I probably would not ever go back.

We arrived at the bottom of Ba Na Hill and everything looks fake and plastic like in Disneyland. We took the cable car which has an amazing view on the mountains and the forests. At the top we went on the Golden Bridge, it looks nice…
        BUT!
The bridge is crowded with tourists and our guide told us we were lucky that day because there was only about 5000 people. On holiday season, you’ll find up to 25’000 people. Don’t expect to take nice pics, too many people…
Behind the bridge is hidden a giant amusement park but I should say tourist trap (we didn’t know before going). Everything looks artificial, fake and made of plastic. The park feels like Disneyland, showing european stereotyped village.
We ate at the buffet and most dishes are cold because they are not kept warm on plates. Moreover the food doesn’t taste fresh besides fruits and a few meats they cook in front of you.
A lot of the park is still under construction and will be probably much bigger. We’re not hardcore ecologist or anything but seeing people destroy such a natural place to build a giant park seems like a bad idea…
We’ve been lucky our hotel made tours there but it’s expensive compared to other places (marble mountains, lady bouddha) you’ll find in Da Nang and in our opinion not worth it. We feel it’s all a trap to make you spend money hidden behind a beautiful bridge.

Car was 20mins late for no reason and the driver couldn’t speak any English. We got a bottle of water. You pay 750,000 per adult for a ticket to the Hills (~$50aud)
We hassled for a free trip to Da Nang airport the following day as compensation.

Not worth the price. Far too busy and full of tour groups of 50+, which meant you could barely move on the whole bridge. Too many people there to take Instagram photos and being told to “move” when in their photographs. By far better views in other parts of Vietnam.

We took a taxi from our hotel in Da Nang at 1 pm. Fixed price and they helped buy the tickets. Arriving around 2 pm we saw what we had hoped for: more people leaving than coming. Was picked up again at 7 pm. Less crowded and good photo opportunities on the bridge. Short lines for amusement park activities Downside: they start closing restaurants and activities mainly from 5 pm. Should we go again we would definitely go mid day and not morning as everybody else do

Knew we were going to the now famous hand bridge but were not ready for the reception area at the base of the mountain and the cable car ride to the top. The trip to the top is a 12 (or so) minute cable car ride that allows one to view the beauty of the surrounding area. Once we got to the top, the bridge/sculpture was awe inspiring. If you are anywhere near Danang or Hoi An, this is a must see site.

Definitely NOT as nice as the photos make it look. Besides being way way over crowded, the only option is to buy one ticket for everything. At 1.5 million VD for 2 people, I would rate this as a major rip-off of the tourists. My recommendation - DON'T GO THERE!

Disappointing! Having seen all the amazing photos of the Golden Bridge all over social media, I was looking forward to seeing the bridge. Not worth the time and money! I was there very early in the morning to avoid crowds so it wasn't too bad but the bridge is small and unimpressive. The theme park is tacky. The whole complex is a weird collection of buildings. I was expecting to see some historical buildings as the French built a resort in Bana Hills at the beginning of 20 century but the only found was royal villa which was closed. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
