I had a great time! The staff were very friendly and the tour was a lot of fun. I went solo so I was feeling a little awkward, but they made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. It was a pretty peaceful tour but still had things to enjoy for more active people too. I recommend coming here. It's a good value for your money. Thank you very much!

The whole operation is very professional. Mr Vu is a wonderful communicator who is client focussed. From pick-up , through the activities and return to hotel it was A1 in care and fun. Thank you one and all at Green Coconut.

I see most reviews here are from organized travel groups who took this activity via a tour package. We came here with our Grab driver on our way to Hoi An. This place is little bit before the town and he recommended us to take it, but haggle of course. The starting price was 600.000 VND pp (around 25$), but after 2 min of negotiating we cut it to 200.000 (8$). Later, at hotel we spoke with other couple who managed it for 150.000, but we're speaking of only 2$ difference, so I give you this info just to have a clew how much to pay. The basket ride through coconuts is really interesting, lasting for around 30-40 min. You sail in a coconut basket with hundreds of others. Beware, boat can take only 2 visitors (plus a rower), so if you're in bigger party you must split. At some point you'll see the spinning show when a skill rower spins its basket - very good. At the end tip your rower (1-2$), he will take pics of you and tell stories.

Lovely from start to finish , did the boat ride then the cookery class and was looked after by the lovely Hein ( apologies if this is spent wrong) the food alone was worth the money

It's a family business and Vu who speaks english is very nice. It takes time to introduce to you the tour and chat about Vietnam. He helped me to book the bamboo circus show which was cancelled because of the flood. He came to my hotel in the flood to give me my money back. I recommand it if you are there for the basket boat.

The owner and family were very friendly giving us excellent service. I really love the local home cooked Vietnamese food served here. Superb and very delicious especially the deep fried rice paper spring rolls. They were my favorite.

We had the best time at the cooking class and boat trip. We are both vegans and they catered the menu for us and all the food was delicious and there was so much of it that we took it with us and had dinner and lunch the next day. We made Vietnamese pancakes, spring rolls, a vegetable and tofu claypot and a banana flower salad. They made us some steamed rice and morning glory and we enjoyed a passion fruit juice and coconut desert. Everything was amazing and our guide was so lovely. We went to the market to pick up our fresh food, spent an hour in a basket boat enjoying crabbing, karaoke displays and watching the guys spin around in the boats and then went back for the cooking class. We loved every minute of it and highly recommend it.

We spent a very good and funny moment with green coconut village cooking tour. First, we were in a basket boat with a funny driver, we enjoyed ! The cooking lesson was really interesting and our final lunch was bery delicious! The owner and the cooker are lovely. Of course, they have a really good level in English. I recommend !

The Green Coconut Village Cooking Tour has been a highlight of my trip in Vietnam. Vu and his family were very welcoming and made sure that we were all enjoying ourselves as well as teaching us about Vietnam’s food culture. Ni guided our tour who was full of energy and easy to follow throughout the day. She first took us to a local market to purchase the local produce that we were going to cook with and then had a ride on the Coconut Boats which was quite touristy but good fun. Ni taught us to cook four dishes which included fried rice paper rolls, chicken salad, Vietnamese pancake and fish. All delicious Vietnamese recipes! I’d highly recommend this tour.

Vu's team provided an absolutely incredible experience, with such friendly and welcoming people to show us the way. You're shown the way the locals get to live at the market and then get to go experience the brilliant coconut forest and have lots of fun. Ni was an excellent tour guide and instructor, and the food was incredible and easy to make. Would recommend to anyone.

We felt like home with them, very nice and genuine people. We first did a tour of hoi an market to choose the food to cook, then we had an entertaining coconut ride (you'll find floating karaokes and dancing people along the way!). Finally we did the cooking class: the chef is very good in explaining everything and help in case of need (I usually don't cook at home and was able to make a very good meal). We the ate what we cooked and chatted a bit. After that they brought us back to the hotel. Definitely recommended!

Boat tour is great value for money and lots of fun. The owner gave us a welcome drink of passion fruit juice and is very friendly. Definitely recommend the experience with this tour company!
