About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Winnernightssleep0 contributionsGreat day outMy guide was very knowledgeable and accommodating. I arrived early and he was ready to start ahead of time. We took a nice pace and visited 3-5 different stops and ended the day with refreshments. Could not possibly ask for more. English language skills were good and it was a thoroughly pleasant experience. Unbeatable value as wellWritten March 11, 2024
- michellemZ3053UM0 contributionsMy Son and Marble mountain day trip with FooWe enjoyed our tour through My son and marble mountain in a comfortable air conditioned car. Foo was accommodating to us and we also enjoyed learning more about everyday Vietnamese culture from him.Written July 25, 2023
- Bodehavegasrd0 contributionsBridge disappeared in steel constructionExpected to see a nice old bridge. However it was covered in construction site on both sides of the bridge. You could go through it, but not very interestingWritten May 13, 2023
- shanec9680 contributionsPut your walking shoes in!We had an excellent day our with our guide Nhung. She was very helpful throughout the day and kept to the pace we needed. She explained everything required and gave us the history of where we where. The view from the top is great… if you get clear skies and no smoky haze.Written May 9, 2023
- jnfryang0 contributionsDo Quyền Waterfall - Bach Ma Park hikeThe waterfall was not worth risking our lives. I didn’t mind the experience until towards the end of the hike, the tour guide took us off trail and made us climb down (then up again) the mountain after changing his mind because it was “too dangerous”. Nobody else did this. It was only us climbing down a wet and slippery mountain like idiots with a death wish. Not sure why he thought it was safe in the first place.Written February 2, 2023
- AliceShy0 contributionsPerfect tripThe guided tour to My Son Sanctuary was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The Sanctuary is an amazing historical monument, ancient human masterpiece deep in the beautiful nature. During the tour I was able to see a Cultural Ceremony which was also very interesting and learn a lot about Vietnamese culture and religion. The tour had a perfect pace and I was able to enjoy everything as much as I desired. One of the highlights of the trip was the guide - very knoledgeable and educated man with deep passion for history. He knew everything about the My Son Sanctuary and shared a lot about history of this place. He was able to answer all my questions and talk with me about culture. I learned a lot not only about history of My Son but also about history of Vietnam. He was also very kind and friendly and his English was perfect. I highly recommend this tour.Written December 22, 2022
- binonatrip0 contributionsAn advertised Half Day Tour that extended to a Full Day with the delightful guide, NhungThis really was the highlight not only of my stay in Da Nang but for the entire Vietnam trip. I was picked up by car from my hotel and joined another tourist and guide, Nhung. I thought we were to join up with others but this turned out to be our own private tour, setting our own pace and with Nhung seeming to be quite happy spending time in our company. We took a trip down the river in a traditional basket boat. I immediately recognised this a coracle boat that I learned about at school in England and these go by different names where they can be found in India, Tibet, Iraq, as well as Vietnam. We walked to Tan Ky Old House, Fu Jian Assembly Hall, and of course the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge. We saw a demonstration of silk spinning and the entire process from the silk worms crawling around in a basket to the finished goods. We made a stop at a street food market, where it seems food always tastes better than in restaurants. This really is a delightful, colourful town with lanterns hanging everywhere. It was clear that an evening visit is essential to see the lanterns switched on and since further tours were no longer running, my hotel arranged for a taxi to take me on a visit, dropping me off at 5pm and the driver waited for me, leaving at 8pm. I would have regretted not seeing the lanterns at night.Written April 3, 2020
- dadrocksnc0 contributionsVey Good Day in Hoi AnWe had a very good day in Hoi An that was packed with activties. Our English speaking guide and driver met us at the hotel in Danang early and we had to ask them to stop and let us get coffee! We paddled in coconut boats (coracles), visited a pottery village, wandered through vegetable gardens (serene and very relaxing), and then walked the streets of Hoi An. The latter is a beautiful old city and our guide had a set itinerary to hit all of the historical sites. At some point, we just wore out and wanted to stroll and shop. She was very nervous about getting in trouble for not hitting all of the historical sites. So in the end I signed a homemade waiver. All in all a very good day.Written January 29, 2020
