Giving this accommodation a hinge rating of 4.1 (as it compared to other liveaboards Tom and both Tom & Yvonne have been on in the Pacific / Asia / Egypt). The bay is dotted with more than 1,600 mountain islands of limestone (Spines of the dragon) that have been pushed up from earth plate activity. The jagged profiles seem to rise out of nowhere with caves, beaches, cliffs, and grottoes. Excellent food and OK accomodations

The 2-way airport transfer went very smoothly. When we arrived at Hanoi airport, our luggage was the last one to come out of the carousel. The transfer operator kept in touch via WhatsApp and told us exactly where our driver was waiting with a photo attached. For the return trip to the airport, the driver was right on time and the ride was smooth and hassle free. Driver was also very helpful and polite. I highly recommend this company.

Sunday Market is the bigger market at LaoCai, you can see the animals trading, tradition foods, farmer markets, the tribes in their costumes, you can bargain with them, is very interesting.

Had a great 2 days on Ha Long Bay and the attractions there were well worth visiting. Guide was amazing and on time.

a good place to spend a few hours of your time to learn about the city's history. you might do quite a bit of walking around the old quarters so choose the time of year when it's not so hot

We had a wonderful day with many varied places to see. Our guide Kimmi ( not his real name but an easy one for us to pronounce) did a fantastic job keeping us entertained with his quick wit and happy nature. We felt very lucky to have him on this tour.
