Loved this class..... a great variety of fabrics and tassles to choose from and staff were really nice and made it a fun lesson giving easy step by step instructions throughout the class. Can't wait to hang mine up when I return home ♡

Really enjoyable class! The staff were amazing fun and it was a day to remember. They helped us produce some actually pretty good lanterns!

Literally the best activity I did in Vietnam in my whole 2 weeks. There were all involved and always ready to help you. They were super funny and nice and I found it made the activity even better. We were 5 and at one point other people started showing up and they were still able to help us. It does take 2 hours to do the full lanterne BUT I PROMISE YOU it’s so so so worth it. If I could I would go back and do it again because they were just fun people to be around. I LOVED MY EXPERIENCE AND MY WHOLE FAMILY DID TOO

Super insightful coffee making course. Our teacher “Bruner Mars” was so funny! He was easy to follow along and the jokes were flowing. After that we did the lantern making class which was fantastic and highly recommend!

A fun experience, with really helpful teachers who made sure our lanterns were made correctly. A nice souvenir that you get to make instead of just buy.

It was so fun to make your own lantern after learning a bit about the history behind them. You get to customize the shape and the fabrics used, and they are very helpful if you have a difficult time with any of the steps. Highly recommend!

We booked the express class but ended up taking the full class and it was the best choice. I recommend it 100%, they help you to make it perfect and guide you in a personalized way throughout the entire process. Len has been the best teacher.

Entertaining fun-filled lantern-making class. Cost 380,000 VND for full class (2.5 hrs) and 250,000 for express class (1.5 hrs). Full class includes the making of the bamboo frame. Can choose from 4 different shapes. Express class is gluing on the cloth part only. Recommend doing the full class for the complete experience. This place has the largest lantern making workshop in Hoi An with plenty of seating, cloth choices, and attentive teaching. Lantern collapses down for travel. Book direct through their website and pay on arrival (cheaper than Klook). Accepts credit cards. Family-run business with enthusiastic, funny instructors. Fluent in English. Includes free tea. Take a Grab there because it’s not in the old town. Was our favorite activity in Hoi An. Overall highly recommended.

Our teacher Len was able to instruct our not so crafty group to make beautiful lanterns in just a couple of hours. He and a coworker were very helpful and encouraging. Len was delightful and provided us with a nice cup of tea and some good music while we worked away. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

The lantern workshop was so fun!! All the staff were so patient and really funny. The lanterns turned out beautiful. I would highly recommend for anyone!

So much fun. We loved making a foldable lantern to take home as a souvenir. We happened to score Bruno Mars as our teacher and he made it so fun. He spoke excellent English so understood our humor. A great way to end out time in the magical Hoi An.

First, I decided on the shape of the lantern, then started making the frame, and decided on the color and pattern of the fabric. The staff were very supportive and helped us with even the smallest of corrections, so I was able to create a work that I was satisfied with. The two hours flew by. Please enjoy the joy of making a one-of-a-kind lantern with your own hands.
