    Cooking with Jolie is Phonomenal
    We had a fantastic and authentic experience with Cooking with Jolie. Rosie picked us from our hotel and guided us around Hoi An markets picking out our fresh ingredients and explaining the different foods. We then stopped off for local Vietnamese coffee. The cooking class was amazing and the food was yum. We did fresh spring rolls, Vietnamese pancakes, fried eggplant in claypot, and Pho. All delicious. The girls are great cooks, hosts and fun too. All in all a great day cooking and eating delicious food. 😃

    Good Fun
    Rosie was fabulous. She took us to the market and told us all about the local ingredients. She also helped us buy some durian also to try. Then we had coffees and went to the villa for our cooking class. We had so many laughs with Rosie, Lucy and Hannah whilst learning lots about Vietnamese food. The food was great and I look forward to making it when I get home. Thank you!!

    Incredible Experience
    My wife and I did this cooking class on our honeymoon and we couldn’t have been happier with our decision. Rosie, Lucy and Hannah were outstanding hosts and teachers. They made us feel completely at home. And not only did they teach us how to cook Vietnamese food, they somehow taught us how to juggle Banh Xeo! An amazing experience.

    This was the best cooking class I’ve ever done! Rosie, Lucy, and Hannah were so friendly and made us feel so comfortable. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was amazing. We would recommend this to anyone!

    The Best Cooking Class with Rosie!
    We had so much fun with Rosie today! We walked the market, learned how to order coffee, cooked 5 delicious Vietnamese dishes and even learned how to say CHEERS! Our family loved this experience and cannot say enough great things about Rosie- she is fun, engaging, and taught us about culture, Vietnam and cooking. We played games and laughed and had fun the entire time!

    Cooking with Jolie!
    This experience is perfect for the ones that want to have fun and also learn about true Vietnamese cousine. The people who received us were so nice and friendly, talk very good English and really know how to teach! It is very complete, the food was amazing. Please don't eat breakfast before 😁

    Master Chef class!!!
    We had Rosie as our wonderful tour guide! She took exceptional care of us and had great attention to detail. We went from the markets to the roots of resources/produce and Rosie took her time in explaining the process and each thing. She’s super friendly and funny!!!

    We left the class with a stuffed stomach and full brain of knowledge! Our guide Rosie not only taught us the cooking part but also the whole Vietnamese culture. Loved getting to the market and learning how to pick the good products. Very satisfied!

    Really delicious food, very friendly hosts. A great range of dishes which were very fun to put together. Great entertainment between meals

    Fun cooking class
    Favourite part was cooking with Rosie and Lucy. We loved the visit to the farm, then the market as it provided context to the cooking. Cooking lesson was fun and provided a great way of learning. We are also given the recipes which are helpful we we get home. Highly recommended!

    Highly recommended cooking class in Hoi An!
    My brother and I had a great time at cooking with Jolie. We started by learning about traditional farming, followed by a market visit and cooking. The instructors are very knowledgeable and make the class very fun. The selected menu is nice, represents typical dishes in the area which are very tasty and not hard to do later at home! Some fun competitions take place during the course, but I am not going to spoil you, just go and enjoy!

    Great authentic farm, market and cooking experience
    A wonderful experience. We were taken to an organic farm in Hoi An’s outskirts where we had a short but interesting look at farm life. We then went to the market where we picked up the fresh ingredients for our class and after a cafe stop for traditional iced Vietnamese coffee, we headed to Jolies home for the class We made four dishes all fresh an delicious. the class was lots of fun and the hosts Rosie was a great teacher and very enthusiastic. We finished off with some tropical fruits we had bought int the morning. Overall an authentic experience not to be missed. Highly recommend it!

This is an amazing experience. Not only its fun and enriching, the whole experience is so warm and friendly like cooking at a good friend's home. Thank you Rosie and Hannah for this awesome experience. My children really enjoyed their time with you. Both of you made cooking so fun and easy. We highly recommend this as a family activity. If you have kids, they will love Rosie and Hannah! We spent a lovely half day here - my kids dont want to leave! Highly recommended.

Best cooking class in Hoi An

I stayed at Jolie Villa Hoi An Homestay and did this cooking class with Jolie’s team. It was one of the best cooking class ever. Highlight of my Vietnam trip. Strongly recommend Jolie Cooking Class to any traveller. They also have the Hoi An street food tour with charity to the handicapped children which is so great. Thanks Jolie.

Exceptional do not miss!
We had the best experience with Rosie and her team today. This cooking class is just cooking (no market visit) and we chose the vegetarian option. It was just our family of four (2A, 2C 11, 14) and from the first minute we had such a great time. Rosie is so friendly and kind and engaged beautifully with everyone, as did the rest of the team. The food we cooked was
so delicious and we had great fun doing it! Rosie had warned us to only have a small breakfast but I would advise eating nothing - there is so much to eat on the course and you will want to eat it all! We had read good reviews about this class so had high expectations but they were thoroughly exceeded! This was by far our best activity in Vietnam and we would love to do it all over again!

Highly recommend for people looking to learn about Vietnamese culture and food!
We had the best time at this cooking class. We learnt a lot about Vietnamese culture and how to make yummy Vietnamese food. The classes were fun and had a homely vibe to them. You get sent the recipes after so you can make everything at home! Definitely come on a empty stomach!

The best and fun cooking class that I’ve attended. Rosie and Summer are very friendly and funny. We really had a great time cooking. The fun part is cooking the Banh Xeo. All the foods that we cooked are so good!

Fun and delicious

Fabulous experience. So much better than the larger cooking classes we’d done. Lots of individual help and attention. My husband had been apprehensive about how much he would enjoy the experience but Rosie put him at total ease with her fun sense of humour. If we had the time we’d also now do the extended course.

A must do if you are in Hoi an. Best cooking class in town.
My 8 year old loves the experience and Rosie, Lucy and Kelly made him feel so welcome and involved. We had the best lunch- they menu they picked was amazing and the team are so friendly that makes the experience a 10/10
We loved the experience and will certainly be back when in Hoi an again.

A fun and wholesome cooking experience

This was such a fun trip! It felt like a close group of friends just getting together to hangout.
This class is perfect for beginners in the kitchen. We played lots of games while waiting for things to marinate or cook and it passed the time quickly and brought everyone together.
Rosie and the rest of the staff are very fun, knowledgeable, and take all the pressure off of a stressful kitchen experience. The girls all sing and dance and even the grandma played some games with us, it was a very genuine and wholesome day.

The cooking is all family style - so you don’t have your own cooking station or prepare an individual portion which means you kinda share with everyone. This means you don’t get to season things to your specific tastes which might be the only downside to this style of class.
I really liked the pace of the class - you make something then eat it instead of preparing everything and eating it all at the end. This made it so we were eating in courses that were spaced out over the duration of the class and it didn’t make us feel too grossly full in the end. You cook a little, eat a little, play some games, and then cook some more.
It was a great class and I’d strongly recommend it to anyone coming to Hoi An.

The items we made were shrimp and pork fresh rolls, ban xeo, carmelized eggplant in clay pot, and and mi quang.

Awesome cooking class for adults or kids!
Cannot recommend this cooking session enough. We did it with 5 kids (between 9 and 2) and Jolie’s team were brilliant.

We went to a market where we chose the fruit and some vegetables for the cooking class. The adults and kids alike had a good time walking around and picking out the fresh produce.

The cooking itself was fun, with all the kids getting involved to different levels. The food was delicious.

Great adventure with some lovely people!
