We had such a great day! All the beautiful sites you want to visit, are covered in this tour. The lunch at madam thu was really good and the footbath was so relaxing! What the tour extra special made, was our tour guide Minh Tam. She can tell you so many stories and background information in an inspirational way that Minh Tam was the icing on the cake🥰 you can’t have a greater person with you than her! Thank you Minh Tam for being our guide and friend at the same time.

Our guide had a really good knowledge of the history of these sites and how important they are to vietnamese history also had a good sense of humour.

Our driver Alex was absolutely fantastic. The drive was comfortable in a very spacious and modern Toyota SUV. Loads of room for us and all our luggage. Got to see all of the sights of the Hai Van pass, Alex pulled over for scenic photo spots and knew all the best places to stop. Lunch at Lap An Lagoon was a real unexpected treat, amazing (and very reasonably priced) oysters and a stroll along the lagoon edge to stretch the legs. Got for fresh and BBQ oysters, you won't regret it. All in all definitely use the service again. Alex was in touch the day before via WhatsApp to confirm times and couldn't have done anything more, put on some great tunes for the drive also.

Myself and my wife did the DMZ full day tour. It was a long day but our guide Hoa kept us well-informed about the numerous sites that we visited and gave us plenty of background information on the war and the history of Vietnam in general. I found her engaging and more than happy to share her vast knowledge of all things DMZ. Our driver was efficient and managed to get us around the various sites safely.

We had a wonderful experience in our drive from Hue to Phong Nha. Our driver, Tan, was courteous, speedy and safe in navigating the very busy roads on this 4-hour journey. Our car was very clean and very comfortable with good air conditioning. Highly recommended.

It's difficult to summarise the day as the topic and emotions it raises are complex. Hoa our guide clearly explained the back story leading to the conflict, the key points during the conflict, and slightly beyond, linking it all up logically. We were in a group of 5 and everyone thought it was excellent.

This was a great tour. Our guide and driver, Alex, was very friendly, courteous, and accommodating. We stopped at some fascinating places, including the A Bang cemetery . This is a don’t miss - it’s astounding. We also stopped at the lagoon for an oyster lunch, which was excellent. The car was clean and very comfortable. Alex is a gem. We would highly recommend this tour with VM travel and especially Alex.

Great driver. Very safe. Excellent English with good knowledge of the local culture and history and was very informative. Visited Marble, Mountains, Hai Van Pass and Lap An lagoon. No pushing to preferred restaurants/ shops etc

Lovely view along the drive with scenic stops. Driver was professional (safe driving and explained the forthcoming destination before heading off at each stop).

Wonderful day in Hue with very complete planning and a very professional guide that is passionate about the city. Logistics really well organised. Old city and temples visit very worth it. Lunch at a very fancy and nice place. Everything went really smoothly and high recommendable.

We booked the drive from Hoi An to Hue with VM Cars and had a great trip. Our driver Alex was very good, friendly, a good and calm driver and the car we had was nice and roomy and spotlessly clean. As part of the drive we stopped at Marble Mountain which is well worth a visit, drove through the Hai Van Pass, as seen on Top Gear, unfortunately it was very foggy on the way up and despite Alex's best efforts to get us a good photo, nature beat us. It did clear however on the other side of the pass so we got some good photos but not the iconic ones. We the stopped at the beautiful Lang Co Bay, for a quick drink then onto HUE. What would probably take 2 hours if you went direct by car, 3 in a bus and 2.5 on a train this took about 5 and it was worth it, breaks up the travel and takes you door to door, so if you leave at 9 you get to your next hotel etc round about check in time of 2pm. Would highly recommend.

We had an excellent time with VM Travels! We have booked 6 private car trips with VM Travels & have just completed our 3rd trip today! Ours first driver Vu picked us up from the airport and waited for us even though our flight was delayed, he also drove us around Hue visiting various sites explaining to us about the history of Hue and the traditions. Our second driver Alex transferred us from Hue to Hoi An he was also fantastic, he stopped at a few locations such as the Hai Van Pass, Thuy Son / Marble Mountains and a lot of photo spots along the way for some excellent views. We Highly Recommend VM Travels! 5*

Our driver was Mr Top, who was great! Spoke excellent English and we were able to find out so much about life in Vietnam. Great drive through the city and countryside and Hai Van pass. Stopped a couple of times for photos and had a lovely lunch which was very reasonable indeed. Highly recommend.
