We had a great time on this tour. They picked us up right on time and we got to chat about Vietnam on our way to My Son. Nini was wonderful about answering all our curiosities about Vietnamese life and gave us recommendations on the best coffee to take home with us when we leave Vietnam.
At My Son we first checked out the museum which we felt was even better organized and more interesting than the Cham Sculpture Museum we had visited the day prior. Then we headed to the ruins where Nini pointed out the various purposes of the structures and how they were used. She also gave us fun tidbits of information about how the local plants we passed while walking there can be used for medicine, hats, etc. After the ruins we saw the performances of some local Cham dancers and musicians. It was lovely and the lunch afterwards was also delicious. I haven't even gotten to marble mountain yet either!
Basically, our day was lovely from start to finish. Nini was a friendly and lovely guide who felt very much like an old friend who is happy to show you around her home town. She also sent us tons of pictures she took of us throughout the day. I'd definitely recommend this tour. ❤️

Great tour to MY SON and Marble mountain. Really enjoyed our time at both and our guide Tony was very energetic knowledgeable and accommodating. They provided a comfortable car as well as water. Lunch in a local restaurant was also included and we enjoyed everything . Highly recommend.

We had a great time with our guide, Sang, and our driver, Phe, during this all day excursion! I will admit, it was odd when Tommy messaged us and asked for the money upfront, but after we met with him and he explained that he’s had a lot of people cancel on him when he has to pay the driver and guide ahead of time, it made perfect sense.
It was a great way to spend an entire day getting to see some amazing places outside of Hoi An and Danang. Sang was super funny and attentive, providing a lot of great details and always offering to take pictures of my wife and I. The private excursion was an excellent way to spend our last day in Hoi An, and even better, Sang & Phe dropped us off at the Danang airport so we could catch our flight out to the Philippines.
Overall, we would recommend Tommy Dao tours to our friends and family, so why not recommend it to the rest of the world?!

It may not be the cheapest but if you can afford it and you want a hassle-free, informative day out then we recommend this tour. Sure you can arrange your own transport to both but you'll miss out on the interesting history of both. Our tour guide bai was knowledgable and made sure we didn't miss out on anything. The selected restaraunt for our Vietnamese lunch was also very good.

We had the best day visiting My Son and Marble Mountains with our tour guide Mr Ty, he was so friendly, knowledgeable and passionate. He went out of his way to make sure that our day was special. We were picked up from our hotel and had a private driver to take us to the different sites, we especially loved seeing the Buddhist temples and the beautiful natural caves. 100% would recommend this tour, such a memorable day on our Vietnam trip!

We had a wonderful day with Tommy as our driver, and Ken as our guide.
Ken was very knowledgeable, kind and knew how to answer all of our questions. He has a very interesting story, and gives an interesting view point about the war.

I think you probably could do that. Just make sure they pick you up at about 6am. That way not only will this give you plenty of time, it will also be a little cooler at the sanctuary and you will beat the crowds.
