- Trip482951912450 contributionsFantastic Day Tour!We are 4 couples from New Jersey, US, and wanted a day tour off of our cruise ship. I contacted Andy over a year prior, and he was the ultimate professional with regards to helping lay out the tour, the cost and what was included, the payment procedure, etc. So before we even toured, Andy had everything under control. The day of the tour did not disappoint. Mr. Ty and driver were there before we got off the ship, and he took us on a fantastic day tour, which included Lady Buddha, Dragon Bridge, Marble Mountain, Hoa Hai, and Hoi An. Great explanations of what we visited and the history of both Da Nang and Hoi An. Returned to the ship within plenty of time of departure. I highly recommend using Andy and his team for any of your tour needs in this area. Absolutely much better than any ship excursion, and a great bang for your buck.Written February 11, 2025
- Normanmortell0 contributionsFantastic way to see the Golden Bridge, Monkey and Marble Mountains and so much more in a day!Andy organised an excellent Da Nang tour for us, we were pleasantly surprised it was a private tour. Mr Minh and our driver were excellent. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable and fit as we did over 40,000 steps on the day! First up was the BaNa hills resort with the worlds longest cable car (1 of 7), the iconic Golden bridge with the hands holding it up, a tour of the various “lands” and entry to some excellent 4D and 5D shows. Next we went to monkey mountain to see some excellent views, the giant lady Buddha and ofcourse some monkeys. We then went to Water mountain and Marble mountain to see the many cave shrines and pagodas and more great views. The trip was tiring but enjoyable and included lunch at a family Vietnamese restaurant which was excellent, a drive over the impressive Dragon bridge and door to door transport. We chose this tour as it showed us a lot in a day and would be difficult to do without Andy’s tours and Mr Minh - it did not disappoint.Written January 31, 2025
- gottotravelagain0 contributionsA fantastic full day tour!We had a great tour with our guide and driver to Ba Na Hills & Marble Mountain in DaNang. We felt safe & comfortable with Mr. Khuong giving us lots of information along the way. Unfortunately it was foggy at the Golden Bridge but we got lots of photos & toured around. There were many places we saw that we would have never seen without our guide. Marble mountain was really interesting & lots to see. It was a fantastic trip!Written January 30, 2025
- michelletO4470AJ0 contributionsAndy Hoi ToursWe had an amazing day. Made extra special by Ms Chang our tour guide. She was very informative and made the day fun. The weather wasn’t the best but we still had a great day. It is a long day but well worth it.Written January 13, 2025
- Obbexbate0 contributionsGreat full day tour made easy.We had a fantastic private tour with Andy. He included so much additional information to make the tour feel personal and good value for money. We learnt a lots from him about the Buddhism and he was welcoming of all our questions. He knew the best places to take photos, and routes to avoid the crowds and make the most of the time we had. He worked in collaboration with the driver to arrange pick ups and drop offs at the attractions in the best spots too. The golden bridge was covered in clouds, but still a very memorable experience. Thank you.Written January 12, 2025

- Getaway6339410 contributionsA wonderful private tour with pickup from the cruise portWhat a wonderful experience! We booked a private tour with the same itinerary to ensure that had the ability to make adjustments, if needed. I reached out to Andy Tran Tours and Andy himself answered within minutes. We exchanged a few messages via WhatsApp on the details of the tour and I let him know we would be arriving via cruise ship and would need to be picked up at the Chan May port. He assured me that if I needed to cancel I could do so prior to the start of the trip. A couple of days before the start of the tour we exchanged confirmation emails and he sent me photos of the meeting spot, a photo of our guide Mr. Ty, a description of the car and the car's license plate. Wow! I really appreciated those details being shared. We were easily able to locate Mr. Ty and our driver, Mr. Linh. Mr. Ty is a wonderful and thoughtful tour guide and speaks English well. He provided a lot of good information and has a great sense of humor! It was pouring rain during our tour of Monkey Mountain and parts of the trek up the mountain were a bit slick. Mr. Ty always looked out for us to make sure we were safe. At all sites we learned a great deal about their history, along with general information about the area and Vietnam. A great bonus is that Mr. Ty has a good eye for great photos. We had lunch at a local restaurant and stopped in Hoi An for a walk around the historic town. They had asked us about food allergies and preferences and I asked for an authentic local meal. And that is what we received. It was delicious and plentiful. The best surprise was that Andy Tran himself showed up at the restaurant to say hello. What a wonderful surprise! Mr. Ty was very respectful of our desired return time to ensure we didn't miss our boat. Despite the crazy weather we returned at our requested time. I highly recommend Andy Tran Tours!Written December 29, 2024

- michaelbU3838FK0 contributionsGreat Trip!We had a great trip with Ms Chang on our tour of Da Nang and Hoi An. Pick up was easy and Andy had provided lots communication in advance as to where to meet. The tour started with a drive on the Hai Van Pass which gave great views of the coast before arriving in Da Nang, Ms Chang provided history and overview to the areas we visited which was really insightful. Following a trip to the marble mountains we stopped for lunch which was fantastic, both authentic and great food, felt really relaxed. We then finished in Hoi A which is a great place and would recommended to anyone. I would really recommend the tour.Written December 29, 2024
- 140anushal0 contributionsLovely Day at HueWe booked a private transfer with Andy Tours for a day at Hue. The driver, Dong was lovely and provided us with water during the journey. We specifically booked transfer, not a guided tour as we wanted the freedom to explore. He dropped us at each attractions and we met him afterwards at an agreed pick up. The day went really well. We did everything we wanted to do at our pace and Dong found us a cafe as well so we could have a rest and some tea :)Written December 27, 2024
- TamaraTravels150 contributionsThis tour has to be #1 on your list!My Son early in the morning is a MUST!!! I was actually blown away by how much it exceeded my expectations. Ms. Sue was wonderful. They were prompt in picking us up, and getting up for the 5am tour was unbelievably rewarding. We were literally the first group in the area. The historical context was fascinating, and this tour was super educational. Ms. Sue knew exactly where to take us and ensured all of our photos were taken to our liking. She explained that thousands of people visit per day, and by the time we were leaving it was clear we would not have gotten the photos of this amazing site without going at the time we did! I would say this tour has to be #1 on your list.Written December 20, 2024
- wanderlust_char0 contributionsFriendly tour guide with a tour that covers enough sights in half a day!I was traveling solo but still booked this private half-day tour anyway. The guide Mr. Khuong was super friendly and very knowledgeable! I had a lovely time understanding some history from him and just chatting like a friend. The tour to marble mountain was worth the climb up (maybe not suitable for the elderly) for a great view, and after that it was a relaxing one in Hoi An old town. I had enough time to do a bit of shopping too. Overall will recommend this tour for sure!Written December 9, 2024

This was a very sobering, sad but important place to visit. You come away wanting to make the world a better place. Mr Ken was an excellent tour guide. He gave us a great background to the war, pointed out important sites on our way out of Hoi An, showed us particular items of interest in the museum and shared his extensive knowledge about the site. Worth the visit.

I was picked up at my hotel in Da Nang by Mr. Kim and driver in a passenger car. That worked out very well as the ride to My Lai is long but the car is comfortable. Mr. Kim begins the ride to My Lai by revealing the history of Vietnam. I have to say the entire visit to My Lai was quite surreal for me as I was the only one there that day save for a group of Dutch tourists. While I was exploring the village of My Lai and the scene of the tragedy, I didn't really get a sense of the experience itself as I had thought I would. The horrific photographs and artifacts are everything we were exposed to in the US. Still, it was a very somber experience. The ride back to Da Nang was actually the highlight of this day long excursion as Mr. Kim revealed his personal experience of working for the US during the war, almost escaping the fall of Saigon and his 2 years in a 're-education camp.' Thats the part of the Vietnam war Americans don't hear. At the suggestion of Mr. Kim we detoured to the little known monument of Chien Thang/Nui Thanh. A historical point that I found fascinating and intriguing, and of which there is an absolute dearth of information about. On your way back to your hotel, be sure to ask Mr. Kim for a private tour of this erie and incredibly significant location. We stopped for lunch and this was another highlight for me as I was completed for my mad chopstick skills by our driver. I was begining to think no one even noticed! My Lai is there as it was. The history is here as it is now. Until you are there can you process the experience for yourself.

We visited the My Lai site with Mr Ken as our guide. Andy, the tour owner was firstly wonderful to deal with. The trip out to My Lai was very comfortable on the mini bus and took about 2.5 hours. The site is sad and confronting but was worth the trip to understand what happened during this very tragic event. Mr Ken was wondering and very knowledgeable and his English was great. We took our 2 kids aged 12 and 15.

We found our trip to My Lai really insightful & educational. The memorial is very respectful and it was really nice to be lead by a guide who knew so much about the area and what happened, you can tell Mr. Ken really cares about his work! Also his English is great. Definitely would recommend

Among the numerous basket boat tours, marble mountain and other activities a visit to My Lai might seem unusual to those who do not know what happened there. I wanted to visit My Lai and see the area where the infamous massacre took place during the Vietnam war. Luckily Andy offered one of the only tours I could find to My Lai. Everything was easy to arrange and quick.
Our guide was Mr. Ken, an absolutely fantastic man who experienced the war first hand. His English is top-notch, and his stories will amaze you. Could not have wished for a better experience.
I highly recommend visiting My Lai. No, it is not pleasant to see, but it is impressive. It is an important part of history that should never be forgotten.

Our guide Ken was so knowledgeable about the history of Vietnam as well as what happened at the My Lai Massacre. Our driver, Nam, was also a pleasure.
