About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- SarahMS850 contributionsGood but room for improvementThe boat trip and lunch were really good. Unfortunately we were not aware that they didn’t not have snorkel equipment for our child so she couldn’t do that part which was really disappointing. This needs to be advertised or advised when booking for children. Then the tour guide tried giving our group of 30 a choice between longer swimming at the beach and visiting a temple- and asked us to make a decision as a group. Which was never going to please everyone. Perhaps next time the guide could make the decision for the group.Written September 4, 2024

- 166rubenz0 contributionsNice day trip to HueNice and convenient day trip to see the best spots of Hue and learn something about the last emperors of Vietnam. On the way there you will enjoy some beautiful views from the Hai Van pass - and the highway on the way back to Da Nang ist even more beautiful, as it winds it's way through a stunning jungle scenery. Be sure to protect yourself from the sun during the temple visits.Written August 5, 2024
- O9715CGadnans0 contributionsMust do things in Hoi an for a life long souvenirReally well organized and they gave me the history tour as well. When I struggled with making my design one of the staff noticed and offered one on one help for free. It was an absolute amazing workshop would highly recommend everyone to do it.Written July 31, 2024
- Navigator373380265700 contributionsGreat tour to hit all the spots in Hue.Great tour if you don’t have time to stay in Hue during your travels. It’s a long day from Hoi An/De Nang but you cover loads. Jimmy was so full of information it was so interesting. Hai Van pass is so great to see, amazing road and such wonderful views. There’s a lot of walking so do bring good shoes, and a fan if it will be hot and the temples don’t have air con everywhere.Written July 17, 2024
- StellaandMick0 contributionsDay trip to HueWe set off from Hoi An about 7:15am - the driver was on time and we returned about 7:15 pm - it was a long but enjoyable day. Saw some beautiful scenery along the way & there was time to stop and take photos- it was very hot at the palace and the grands are much bigger than I imagined- our guide Jimmy was very informative along the way. The pagoda and the final resting place of the King were equally both interesting and spectacular- the drive home was non stop - our skill full driver navigated the traffic to get us all back safely- a long but interesting day - worth the tripWritten July 16, 2024
- 266ang_liquet0 contributionsSuper interesting, but too big of a groupThe tour was very interesting, and our guide Vee was lovely - a special thanks to her for making it fun! However, the tour was supposed to have a maximum capacity of 15 people, but we were 32… It really bothered us and felt like the guide hd to babysit everyone. At least, the agency offered us a 20% refund.Written July 10, 2024

- yvonnesL7908LW0 contributionsNice during the day as motor bikes are restricted (on entry).Hoi An’s Old Town is divided into two sections on either side of a stream going into the river (Japinees on one side and Chinees culture on the other side). on the walking tour, we came across one of the towns well-known features of the Japanese-covered bridge, complete with its temple and statuary BUT the structure is TOTALLY under overhaul reconstruction. As we walked through Hoi An’s historic streets we observed the city’s mossy houses, including the Phuc Kien Congressional House (a must see). Most of Hoi An’s historic houses have been maintained in their traditional design, with brick exteriors and wooden interiors. After many centuries of maritime trade, the town boasts a multicultural atmosphere, as many traders from Persia, Arabia, China, Japan, and India, as well as the first Christian missionaries to reach Vietnam, have all left their mark. We stopped to tour the “OLD HOUSE”, which in its day was owned by a wealthy merchant. Out the back door of the two-level home there are doors that open to the river for receiving shipments. One very interesting feature for Tom was the roof tiles. The tiles have horizontal slots in them to promote ventilation while being set at 30 degrees to let the rainwater to run off to a drinking water cistern. The wood used in the house construction is Iron and Teak wood. Both woods, to improve their longevity are first totally submerged in water for up to 10 years. No nails are used anywhere in the structure. Houses (ancient structures) cannot be modified from historic design = These are all classified as world heritage structures) and can sell for $3 million or rent for $3,000 a month. During last year’s monsoon rains of November Hoi An streets were flooded with 3 ft of water, so the OAT tour had to hire boats to move travelers into / around / out of town. A week later after we left Hoi An our tour guide notified us the city flooded as the monsoons had startedWritten July 1, 2024
- tanyD4488VJ0 contributionsFun day being a farmerThe tour was very fun. Host cane to pick us up on time at 830am and we cycled for 5km from our stay. One of my friends cannot cycle so she sat behind the host’s motorbike. There were some photo stops during our cycling journey. When we arrive, we started off with farming, followed by foot massage which we have to top up 100k VND per pax, and finally end off with a cooking session. The spring rolls were one of the best I had in Vietnam. I highly recommend this tour for families and friends.Written July 1, 2024
- jodes720 contributionsBamboozledWe organised pick up but it turned out a bit too hard so we made our way there. The place is serene and the people running the workshop are very helpful. Very talented craftsmen. There is a vast selection of things to choose from to make. You are guided throughout the whole process to ensure your piece is of good quality. Bamboo is easy to work with. Their English is good and they have a lot of patience. We had a great time and would recommend it albeit a bit more expensive than most things in Hoi An but well worth it.Written June 26, 2024
- mateoh5270 contributionsHue City Day Trip12 hour day trip to Hue City from Da Nang… long bus rides there and back and was way too hot to really enjoy the ancient city. Not much to see there either. Not worth spending a day to see it if you are visiting for a short period of time.Written May 16, 2024
- dianedinky0 contributionsGreat hands on experience for allThe workshop is a bit out of town and tucked away down a back street so quite hard to find. Unfortunately, the place wasn't able to offer the pick-up service but they kept me informed via WhatsApp and I was able to get a taxi from my hotel (have Google Maps at the ready if doing this as driver unsure of location). The experience itself was excellent. Was booked in for 8.30am and didn't actually leave until nearly 1pm. Was so nice to get the time to make some pieces myself and then have a browse around the shop area and get many gifts to take home (and they personalised items for me too). Everyone is very patient and helpful and lets you do the creation yourself, just stepping in when needed on trickier bits. They trust you with the power tools and sanders but are keeping an eye out for you. I was able to make a lovely hinged pen holder and others that were there a tankard and a lamp. As a bonus it was absolutely teeming down with rain all day so great to have this indoor activity booked!Written May 1, 2024
- TiruSingh0 contributionsQuick tour of HueA great way to cover Hue from Danang, in one day. You get to see the main sites in Hue and get an understanding of the Nguyen dynasty. However, the day was hot and that reduced the pleasure a little bit. The lunch organized by the tour was excellent.Written April 28, 2024

Well organized day with two dives of 46 minutes each on the reefs. The staff is very professional and takes care of everything (that's a change from the sites in Europe where we do almost everything) and it's very pleasant. No souvenir shop stop which allows you to concentrate the day on diving and time to enjoy the beach.

Hi! We are a group of six students in Singapore from UWC. Some of us have diving experience (Not PADI certified) while others are new to Scuba diving. We would like to know whether we need a license to dive and whether our basic dive training will be on the same day as our trip or on the day before, as we have a tight schedule. We will be coming from 30th to 31st.
