Just finished a cooking class with this company and my partner and I had a fabulous time. From walking through the markets checking the produce, then taking a boat ride near where the class was to take plece, to getting in a round boat and then getting to the restaurant the whole experience was magical. The foot massage was something we were not expecting and was delightful.
The acturl cooking class was well presented and we were taught to make several dishes and then sit down to eat our fare. Amazing meal washed down with a couple of iced beers made for a wonderful experience. We stayed after the class and spoke with the owner and the staff over a couple of more cold drinks before saying our farewells.
Overall the half day was well worth the price and recommend it to anyone who wants a great experience.
Unfortunately we were having so much fun we forgot to take any photos.

Had a great time from local market to the boating to cattle to the cooking class. My 3 yo had a great time. We are vegetarian and they catered to using mushrooms, tofu and lots of vegetables. It’s very yummy! Though I wished they can provide me the recipes for vegetarians.

We had the pleasure of going to Sabirama cooking classes, and it was AMAZING! It was a lot of fun, but also very inspiring.
We visited a market to buy the food and we then embarked on a boat ride on the river to the Sabirama cooking class and restaurant. The food was fresh and local; we were able to make it to our taste with spice. The four courses that you cook are all excellent quality dishes.
Sabirama was a great guide and the whole thing was very well organised (including the pick up arranged).
You can contact her directly to book your tour.
Enjoyed it so much.

We had a fantastic day with Quy and the team. They took us on a tour of Hoi An market to explore all the ingredients we would use for the day, and then took us on a beautiful boat trip before transferring onto basket boats which took us to the cookery school. We were a large mixed group of adults and young children and everyone was accommodated for safely.
The cookery class was brilliant. I do not consider myself a good cook but the team showed me how to create some amazing and authentic traditional Vietnamese dishes which I couldn’t believe I was able to make so easily. The team also accommodated different recipes for members of our group with allergies and dietary requirements.
I cannot recommend this trip enough, the entire team were amazing, friendly, polite and funny!

This was more than a cooking class. It was a half day tour that included a walk through the markets with Be who showed us & talked about the different fruits, vegetables & spices. Don’t forget what she tells you about the spices as they will come up again when you are cooking! You then go on a wooden old town boat along the river, passing water buffalo & the big fishing nets. Be explains the river activity as you go. You go from the boat to a basket boat (whilst on the river!) to arrive at the restaurant where you will cook. Before cooking, you get a foot massage where the restaurant is. Something different & the massage was short but felt good. You get your chef hat & apron & step by step Be demonstrates how to cook each meal & you cook beside her. We did 4 dishes. I don’t cook so I wondered how this would go! Be & I had a few laughs on my culinary skills which were limited. She helped me all the way! I learnt how to create butterflies with cucumber & carrot & how to make a rose from a tomato. After cooking each meal, you sit down to enjoy it. Don’t eat before you go as you will get full. The restaurant is rustic but very clean. I liked that we cooked in open air. Under cover but open. Nice breeze blowing while you cook. All in all, it was a pleasant experience.

Excellent cooking tour.
The day started at 8 am where we were picked up from our hotel and then dropped to the old town markets. We then met with our tour guide Hung, who was so friendly. Hung showed us the delights of the market and then we took a 45 minute boat ride from old town to the coconut village.
We were then transferred on to a basket boat, this was so much fun!
After the basket boat, we were shown to the Sabirama cooking class. We were met by a welcome drink and a wonderful shoulder and foot massage.
After the massage, we moved on to the cooking! We made four dishes and learnt a lot, whilst having fun. It was lovely that we had Hung for the duration of our tour.
We would highly recommend booking the cookery tour, it was easy to book and very good value for money. The staff were all so welcoming and friendly.
Enjoy the cookery tour when you visit Hoi an!

Sabirama Hoi An cooking experience
Pick up in a luxury aircon car at your hotel for a market & food purchasing experience, then a wooden boat ride to a bamboo boat transfer to the land & a motorbike transfer to the restaurant & cooking school- the alternative would be to take the car both ways if you are not feeling limber!
Lots of photo opportunities!
4 fabulous dishes cooked & eaten later, you receive photos sent to your phone & a cook book of your recipes
Sabirama Cooking school was found on Cookly
Vand- was our charming female guide, who then became master chef!
Quy, the owner - has Accomodation & restaurant. Other activities available.

Pretty simply, a trip to Hoi An cannot be complete without taking Sabirama's cooking class. We went to the market, went fishing in coconut boats (fishing for crabs!), cooked and ate a lot of great food. We chopped, boiled, and fried an amazing spread, which we got to enjoy at the end. The entire experience was a joy and made our trip to Hoi An a treasure. Ms. Lien is a professional with high talent as a cooking teacher and a personality you will never forget.

I can highly recommend doing this tour. From the early morning market tour to the boat ride to the restaurant where we were pampered with foot and back massage. Then we made some delicious fresh, tasty dishes and delivered back to our hotel.
