The best vacation of my life, perfect organization. All accommodations and programs are fantastic. Brian was our driver, who is simply the best, attentive, polite, excellent, confident driver. I can only recommend it, not only because of the great price-performance ratio, but also because of the kind colleagues.

I found standard safaris online and spent several weeks looking over different itinerary options and asked for quotes from a few different companies. I found I wanted a few changes from a normal itinerary and started asking questions from all the agencies. Coleb from Standard Safaris was extremely helpful and patient and I wanted to learn as much as possible before deciding. Coleb answered all my questions thoroughly and was flexible when it came to booking. After booking, he was great with checking in to make sure I knew what to pack, how to prepare for the trip and to make sure I didn't have any questions. The trip itself was amazing. Once our guide picked us up, they handled everything regarding transportation, meals and lodging as well as providing us with many incredible site guides along the way. Virgin Uganda Safari Experience with Standard Safaris Staff was responsive and did their best to accede to our requests. The entire safari journey was great with Brian being an experienced guide (many years under his belt), ability to spot animals and knowledgable enough to answer all the questions that we had about the culture, wildlife and primates in Uganda.

I had a great experience with this company. I went on the Mundari Cattle Camp tour and everything was organized and the guides were very friendly. Ownership was responsive and great at communication.

This was definitely the best safari of our lifetime. Right from Entebbe airport, Coleb met us for a de-briefing session, and escorted to Karibu Guesthouse where we were meant to spend a night before the start of our 10 days safari. He took us through the itinerary to make sure we are both on the same page. The following morning, the trip to Murchison Falls N/Park began so early so we could beat Kampala traffic. By 11:00am we were already trekking rhinos at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary; a wonderful place in north-central Uganda that hosts the only surviving rhinos. The trip from Murchison falls to Bwindi impenetrable forest went beyond and above our expectations. The people are friendly; food was delicious and well served in all the lodges we slept in; but most importantly we thank Standard Safaris for putting everything together! We shall obviously come back to Uganda.

Our team did a one day tour to Jinja, and explored source of river. Standard Safaris and their guides were always available to help; our driver was always on time and knowledgeable about history, culture, foods and people of this area. We were more than lucky to have picked Standard Safaris to organise one day Jinja tour to explore Source of River Nile.

We had a great 13 days safaries with Standard Safaries. Overland we have been driving 2100 km! Without a single problem. Standard Safaries gave its best; colourfull, adventures, great sceneary, best of Africa. Started from Lake Victoria over Murchison falls, Kabale, Queen Elizabeth, Bwindi - and its gorillas - overland to Rwanda, Vulcanoes and Kigali, just to mention its corner points.. Being an Africa expert, I must say, Uganda is still “unspoiled” by the mass tourism therefore its people are still clean and honest even if they do it for money still doing it with theirs full heart. We went on a two-week trip with my family, organised by Coleb from Standard Safaris. I had my concerns about organised trips, but this one didn’t justify any of those. Everything went very smoothly, even when some problems arose with one of the cars it got fixed by next morning, the accomodations were clean and comfortable, the programs were exciting and well-balanced - everything was done to a truly high standard. If you plan to visit Uganda and are looking for a guide, I warmly recommend Coleb and his team. In case you have a choice of drivers, go for Godwin, his presence made this trip even more enjoyable - cheerful, helpful, good sense of humour, generally a great person. Just look for the guy with a big smile and big heart:)

I could not fault Standard Safaris. They were excellent, from the pick up at the airport until the very end of our trip. Our accommodation options were outstanding, all meals were included, and we were very well fed. Our tour guides were outstanding and extremely knowledgeable. Thank you to Chirs and Junior - you were fantastic. Standard Safari's and our guides (Chris and Junior) went above and beyond to make our trip memorable to ensure that we were comfortable and well looked after. Coleb (the owner) even came along on our Tanzania section to ensure we were enjoying our trip and everything was to our liking. I cannot rate them highly enough - outstanding is not enough as they went above an beyond outstanding. Absolutely had the best time and it was a trip of lifetime. You will not be disappointed with this company. We could not believe we got sooo close to the animals.

I went on a fully organized 12-day tour through Uganda to its highlights with Standard Safari. It was fantastic! Coleb did a fantastic job before the tour started. Every question was answered, the preparation and organisation of the trip was perfect! Guide and driver for the 12 days was Chris. He is funny, experienced and able to spot all kind of animals on our game drives (even if they were almost impossible to see)! I cannot say that there was only one highlight, because all of it was a 12-day highlight!! Besides the Big 5, various kind of birds, Chimps or the favorite Gorilla's were on the program. Amazing through and through. For the Lodges I decided on low budged ones. The stuff in each lodge were very friendly, the food amazing (mix between one to three courses). Each of them offered (solar) electricity and hot water - enough for me especially to charge batteries or taking a refreshing shower. Although we had sometimes problems with the electricity (cloudy, so not enough sunlight for the solar panels), I was aware of that and saw it as part of our Ugandian adventure.
