It was an amazing experience, once in a life time ! We had a great guide, Farouk, who went above and beyond to be sure we were satisfied . He was very reliable and an excellent driver, very helpful . We could see one family of 19 gorillas and the next day, we went to lake Bonyoni which is a special place, serene and beautiful .

I am writing this review a bit late, but I have to write this to acknowledge my safari tour was fantastic. Kaara Adventures can customize the safari tour, and I joined “2 Days Volcano Golden Monkey and Gorilla trekking in Bwindi NP tour”. I assumed my tour was “shared and budget version”, but it was ended up as my personal tour without other guests. Everything including not only the trekking tour itself but also the accommodation and foods was fantastic. My tour guide was Farouk, who are kind and knowledgeable, and I could always enjoyed my personal talk during the entire tour. I hope other tourists enjoy the trekking tour with Kaara Adventures.

Fantastic experience, with a very helpful guide, Farouk! We went to Bwindi, and had a gorilla trekking into the jungle. Found the gorilla family, and had an unforgetable hour with them.

I recently completed a two day tour with Kaara Adventures — one day in Volcanoes NP in Rwanda to see the golden monkeys and the second day in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in Uganda to see the mountain gorillas. Farouk, our driver and guide, was incredibly kind and helpful and knowledgeable, making sure everything along the way was perfect. He offered to stop as much as we liked to take photographs along the drive and answered all of our questions about life in Rwanda and Uganda. Before our treks, he made sure we had all that we needed including water and packed lunches. If you can complete the tour with Farouk, I highly recommend this. Leading up to the trip, the staff at Karaa Adventures were extremely responsive via email and WhatsApp, so I never really had any doubts that I wasn’t in good hands. The gorilla trek in Bwindi easily ranks as one of my top favorite travel experiences to date. Grateful to Farouk and to Kaara Adventures for such a great experience. Strongly recommend.

I am very happy I booked my tour with Kaara Adventures. The communication ahead of the tour was perfect, and arrangements were made on short notice. Payment options were flexible to suit my preferred method. On the day at the start of the tour driver/guide Gerald arrived timely to the accommodation in Kigali to pick me up. The drive started towards the Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda with stops for photos of the beautiful views. Having walked into the park to spot the golden monkeys we set off towards the Ugandan border where the clearance and immigration process was smooth. After having crossed into Uganda I was asked what type of lunch I preferred and we stopped at a local restaurant to eat typical Ugandan food. Reaching Bwindi in the late afternoon the lodge that was arranged was perfect, comfortable rooms with wonderful beds, great food, and professional staff. The second day we set off for the gorilla trekking which was a totally awesome experience! After relaxing and eating the packed lunch we started the drive back to Rwanda. Gerald the guide/driver has a lot of knowledge and can share much information about the places we saw on the way, there was plenty of drinking water provided during the two days, and the driving style was safe and comfortable also on the dirt roads. Can only recommend Kaara adventures, especially for the communication/information ahead of the tour, and also due to the fact that the tour was executed exactly as promised keeping high quality throughout.

It will be an experience you will never forget! My guide Dismus made it fantastic, going over and beyond to allow me to capture the real essence of this experience and making me comfortable all the way. A big thank you to the Rangers who are doing a great job taking care of the gorillas while allowing us tourist to have a taste of their daily life. Highly recommended!

My trip with Kaara Adventures was excellent. Our driver Farouk was wonderful, he made sure we had everything we needed and knew all of the shortcuts and local tips. He also making the process of border crossing and registration at the parks a breeze. We saw plenty of gorillas and golden monkeys on our trip. I cannot recommend the experience highly enough!

Found this company on Safari bookings. Com. Very well organized tour. Everything was arranged as per the information Jovia sent us in emails. Farouk was always on time, reliable and a safe driver. He communicated well and made sure everything went perfectly. We did the 2 day golden monkey and gorilla tour and both experiences were fantastic, much better than expected. The accommodation was in a beautiful place near the forest where you start the gorilla trek. Highly recommend this tour agency.

I did the four day golden monkey, gorilla and chimpanzee mid range trip from Kigali with Farouk as my driver. Communication with the company was very responsive however there was miscommunication regarding paying the final amount of the fee which needed to be in cash. Farouk was very helpful in working around this problem but it was quite stressful at the start. All the accommodation is 5*, with great food, scenery and amenities - really is luxury, and all the treks were fantastic seeing all the animals up close and personal. Bring more money to tip than you expect as each day you are expected to tip the accommodation, trekkers, guides all separately as well as doing activities within different communities - as cards are not used anywhere. As a solo traveler, the trip wasn’t without its hiccups but Farouk is friendly, helpful and knowledgable and I won’t ever forget the experience.

Thanks to Kaara Adventures, I was able to see a lot in a short time (including gorillas and chimpanzees, of course). A reliable company with an amazing approach to customers. Great service!!! Thank You very much!!! I'll come back
