One of the best thing to do while in Marmaris. Only costed £10- you get pick up and drop off of your choice. You do an hour of water fight but you have to hire water guns(£2.50). You play with other people which can be up to 20 other jeeps. After an hour you are dropped somewhere to dry off, go toilet, get a snack at the cafe (not free) or go shop. You then go to Jesus Beach that's what the tour operator called it. We spend a good half an hour enjoying the views, taking pics and swimming if you want. We were then taken to a waterfall for an hour then a meal. If you like your food saucy make sure you carry your own mayo, ketchup and chili as the food is basic. You get bread, 2 pieces of breast chicken (which was dry), salad and rice with no gravy or sauce. After the meal you are taken back to the hotel. I will recommend you do a morning session as it's more jeeps and more fun. If you have kids under 5 the might not like it as they get wet the will cry. The waterfall is challenging but its worth it.

The trip started with being picked up early. We was then transported to a cafe round the corner where we waited for 45 minutes, where a guy continued to hound us over how busy the place was. The waiters also continued to ask you if you wanted breakfast. Which we had already had as we wasnt told about this part.

Eventually, we set off on the Road and travelled around 20 minutes to a point where we had the water fight. The waterguns where not Included with the cost of the excersion and instead we had to pay another 20 Tl per water gun to rent. This is another cost that we didnt anticipate. However the water fight was good fun.

After that we stopped off in a random shop/bar in the middle of nowhere for a drink for 45 minutes after probably barely a hour after leaving the first breakfast place. The place was a state with engines from the other land rovers scattered around and a very deep empty swimming pool that could easily be a danger for children. The toilets where also disgusting.

Eventually we got back on the road again and drove to the jesus beach which was good fun. However the time before the convoy got moving was only 45 minutes again. I felt the time from the previous stop would have been better spent at the beach to fully enjoy it, however the stop prior felt more of a cash cow for them to rake in more money.

Following the trip to jesus beach there was a short drive to a included meal, which consisted of a small chicken skewer, some salad and some pasta. Chips and other drinks where available to buy for increased rates from other places, another cash cow for them.

The trip then went to the waterfall which was a nice place. However it was much smaller than expected and although the novelty of jumping in from around 20 feet up was nice, it could be dangerous as there is a small "safe zone".

All in all, although the trip was nice there was alot of hidden extras included to get every last penny from you they could. I enjoyed the activities but there was not many as alot of the time you was visiting the cash cows for longer time than doing the actual activities. The driver I had I gave a tip to however as he was very generous with stopping for photos and catered to help everyone enjoy their selves that was on his jeep.

The water gun fight was fab and you will get drenched!!. Please note you need 50 tl to hire per water pistols as we not informed about this. The music on the safaris is a bit explicit so not suitable for children. Lunch was basic and upselling of french fries was pushed and needed. Jesus Beach was ok and be aware you will stop at 3-4 points where upselling of drinks, snacks and gifts is pushed quite a bit, this is a cultural thing.

I had fun. The jeep safari trip was all day from 10am to 4pm We saw beautiful maramaris. And had a massive water fight with other jeeps shooting eachother with water guns. We stopped a few time for toilet and refreshment breaks. We went to Jesus beach very beautiful blue water you can walk for miles in shallow water. We then had lunch basic but we expected it to be. Chicken, rice salad. chip and onions (3lira) beers soft drinks about 60/80lira. We then went to a waterfall nothing amazing but nice judging from pictures it was smaller then i expected. Be careful it is very slippery a lady fell and hurt herself. Our tour guide was called Memory he was very welcoming, nice and funny as well as ohan he followed us everywhere and ensured we was safe. Everyone I spoke to paid different prices for the same trip ranging from £20-£35 it was well worth the money.

Very nice trip, a lot of fun (even I didn't like the water pistol fight). Nice places, good guide. The waterfalls was my favorite part. Good organization, sanitation safe, great day out, would do it again, highly recommended.

Friends
This trip was highly recommended to us, so as soon as we arrived we made sure we booked this.

You get picked up from your hotel from around 9.30am Make sure you have a big breakfast before you leave and bring your own fluid possibly freeze it from night before.

Also bring clothes to change into as you get get soaking wet. Although the Sun will see to that. bring a plastic bag for electrical stuff. You don't want to vex when your stuff gets wet.

I'd say bring your own water pistol too as you have rent one on top of the price you pay for the trip.

You go through some mountains through Hisaronu and you will see some amazing view, waterfalls ect so be camera ready. You stop off at a local market after the water fight where you can dry off or buy some clothes and get sowmething to eat.
Then you are taken to Jesus beach where you cann walk the water for miles. Bare in mind if you have princess feet you better bring flip flops or something as the stones in the water hurt your feet. You can also jetski there too which is fun and also buy refreshments on site.

Once you bless yourself at Jesus beach you are then taken to a village near by where you are given lunch that comes with the package. Lunch it not that greatest. Either choose meatballs or chicken with rice and salad and if you wanted chips and a drink you had to buy that. I guess that's their traditional food to eat. Never the less it did the job until we got home.

You are then taken to another part of the mountain to climb and see the waterfall, which I must say was amazing to see and take photos.

All in all it was a fun day, met lovely people from all over the
World.

Curly (a sexy man I must say) and Casper was our Jeep driver and photographer, they were happy to play the music we liked, so it felt like a jeep safari water fight Party in the sun.

I advise you to wrap up your weave/hair pieces or wear a cap as your hair and lashes will get wet and blown in the wind on the drive there and back lol.

We got some bombastic images on a usb for a good price for memories.

Wear trainers for climbing and flipflops for the water, towel to dry, plastic bag for electrical and you will have fun

Well worth the experience, we had a fabulous day out, so much fun, this was a trip out for all ages, most adults reverted to childhood, but a thoroughly fun day for all. Although I would say not suitable under 5 years as the terrain can be a bit rough and the water fight can be intense for very small children, but again I would judge this on individual child as some are children are taller and sturdier than others.

This trip was fun, but make sure you put on swimwear because you are going to get very, very wet with a waterpistol fight between the jeeps, they are 10TL each to use, if you choose not to have a waterpistol, you are still going to get very wet as there is nowhere to hide. The views and journey through the villages and forests are wonderful, the guide was very informative and the video man/photographer captures the day perfectly with footage you can order at the end and collect from your hotel reception. Lunch is included, not the most imaginative, chicken, salad, chips, bulgar wheat but certainly tasty. I wouldn't take very small children as although there are seat belts, its not designed for very small children. Walking at the Jesus beach was amazing, standing in two foot of water while on either side is a deep lagoon is very surreal.
We would recommend this trip, we never felt rushed to move on to the next part and it was a lot of fun

We booked this excursion through TUI and was certainly not disappointed! We had an amazing time and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Hang on tight to your hats, mine flew off within the first five minutes of the trip!
One of the first things we did was have a water fight between the two jeeps which brought out the inner child of everyone involved, it was great fun! I would highly recommend bringing a towel and a carrier bag to put phones in because you are going to get SOAKED! We paid 20TL for two water guns and it was the best fun we had all holiday! The guides were brilliant and camera guy was great. We stopped at a beach and was given an hour, the water was beautiful and sun beds were free to use.
Lunch was included within the trip, the food wasn’t anything special but it certainly wasn’t the worst we have had, we chose meatballs which were served with chips, rice and salad. We tried honey which had been locally made and was delicious! Interesting to learn about how it was made. We also visited a traditional Turkish village and a waterfall at Turgut before stopping at Jesus beach where you can ‘walk across water’
Brilliant trip, well worth doing!
