Hi everyone! I am writing a review for brother Mete Horzum which was one of the best tours we had ever have on our trip. We’ ve been in Konya recently me and my child for the first time. Brother Mete helped us a lot with all our trip from Istanbul to Konya all included in the blessed Mevlanah City of heart. I would definitely recommend anyone to contact Mr Mete Horzum to organize your trip even before you leave your home country you will not be disappointed as his tours is the best and brother Mete is trustworthy and very kind man. Last but not least you will never ever forget your trip as Brother Mete and the team will make every journey of yours magical.

The whole day was calm yet so interesting. We were picked up at the door of our hotel in Goreme and dropped at the door of our hotel in Antalya. Mete was very friendly and knowledgeable about the history and culture of Turkey and answered any questions we had. We really appreciated our visit to the Sultanhami caravanserai, especially with the context provided by Mete. Our guided tour of Rumi's tomb and the Sufi museum was moving and informative. Fatma might actually be the best guide in the world 😉 The traditional Turkish lunch in Konya was exceptional and so generous. We are really so thankful that we travelled this part of our journey overland and during the day because if we'd flown or taken the overnight bus we would not have seen the breathtaking scenery between Konya and Antalya in particular. We were really comfortable in the van and felt very safe with our competent drivers. We highly recommend this tour. Thank you to everyone who made this such a memorable day.

My tour, The highlights of Koyna, was amazing. My guide, Hayri, Was so knowledgeable about each site he took me to and even taylored the tour to some of my own Interests! He knew so much and he was compassionate with my own limitations that have occurred as I’ve aged. I am grateful to the day what I have learned about Koyna And it’s treasures! I Highly recommend this tour to get an overview of Koyna. I can’t say enough good things!

The drive was long but our driver Mete was explaining to us on the Silk Road, the culture and etc along the way. Very friendly and very accommodating to our needs. The vehicle was clean and comfortable, making our journey a pleasure. At Konya, his wife took over and explained in detailed to us on the famous Poet Rumi and the burial grounds. This includes the history behind the dervish dance and costumes etc. We even met their beautiful children when the other driver took over the remaining distance from Konya. Oh and before I forget, the local meal that was included was delicious. Beats the other tour group lunch we have been on where the food is mediocre. We highly recommend this driver to anyone seeking a reliable and enjoyable transportation experience. Thank you for a fantastic ride.

We have used Selene travel 2 summers in a row for our transportation between Alanya to Konya and Capadocia. The transportation was always on time and very comfortable with a very polite driver. Additionally we used the travel services for tours of Konya and surrounding area and were very happy with all the services provided. Mete and Fatih took good care of us, especially our young children. When we return again next summer we will surely continue our bookings with Selene Tours.

Mete organised Fatima to take us around Konya. She was impressive with her knowledge on several subjects and historical aspects of Konya. The restaurant she took us to for lunch was amazing. What was most impressive was that she tailored the tour to suit us. I highly recommend her. Also Mete organised transport for me from Konya to Antalya at amazing prices compared to everybody else. 5 star service…

We are so grateful for Mete and his team. We used Selene Travel for both pick up from Konya Airport and a transfer from Konya to Antalya. Our flight from Istanbul was overbooked and so our flight was delayed and Mete and his team were really accommodating and in communication with us. Our transfer to Antalya was also smooth and easy, Mete is incredibly knowledgeable and a great source of information. I was unfortunately really ill so couldn't make the most of the conversation however if you love a good conversation, and learning about the culture, history of Konya, Mete would be incredible. With travelling, it really is the people you meet. Thank you for your warmth and taking care of our family.

This was a wonderful tour of the places related to Rumi as described. The tour guide, Hayri, was extremely knowledgeable about each Rumi location and other significant sites. He explained the overall history and told interesting anecdotes and legends about Rumi and other important figures of that time. In the morning we walked to all of the locations in the center of Konya. We stopped for a very good lunch of traditional Turkish food and then continued to outlying sites in the afternoon in a van.

Fatima is a fantastic tour guide. She took us to see all the museums, resting places of Rumi and Shams Tabrezi. Alladin mosque was great to see as well. Lunch at the restaurant was delicious. This is a must tour for Konya visitors.

The best way to reach and explore Kilistra is with the wonderful, knowledgeable folks from Selene Travel. You will be glad you let the professionals take care of the logistics - Saint Paul wished he had their assistance when he was walking this "Royal Road." Kilistra is a vast ancient city, carved out of the volcanic tuff. Enjoy amazing views, intriguing design, and a "hidden" church. Take your time to explore the lookouts, the wine-making room, and the other spaces. You will most likely be the only people there - with working farms alongside the site and goats and sheep in the distance. Enjoy it.

In May 2024, I brought a group of clients on a Spiritual retreat &tour through Turkiye. Konya was our first city & Fatma was our guide. Fatma was beyond amazing! She not only gave us all the information, but could easily read the group & what they needed & were interested in. Going to all the sites and getting the meanings behind it, such as the Sema, was moving. Walking the path Mevlana walked to the mosque & then praying the mosque was special. Fatma arranged that the group met with a practicing Dervish, whom we sat in conversation with & could ask any questions we had, which was the highlight of the day. If ever you're in Konya, do not hesitate to have Mete & Fatma take you on a tour of this beautiful city. I know I will be back over & over again and they are the only people whom I'd contact. Thank you Fatma and thank you Mete. You both made our group's trip amazing!

Visited Kunya for the first time with my family. I had the best experience. Our tour guide Hayri was the best. He speaks fluent English. Very knowledgeable, very friendly. He explained each and everything during the tour. The lunch was delicious!! Our tour van was very comfortable and clean. We took lots of pictures. Hayri has great sense of humor and he kept smiling all the time. We highly recommend this tour. 5 stars

Magical! One word to describe the tour is Magical. The tour was refreshing and soulful. My tour guide Hayri was very informative. The car that travelled me around was also very comfortable. The company also went an extra mile to make my trip worthwhile. This was one my best experiences in my entire life. Hats off!

Mete arranged a wonderful guide named Hayri. Hayri grew up with the kids of American personnel on a US military base in Turkey and knew English very well as a result. He also knew his Konya history and much about Rumi and the philosophy of Sufism as well. Great museums and neighborhoods on this tour. Highly recommended!!
