Pick up service was bad ! Watch out we paid for sunrise sortie and we’re not picked up. I would not use Excursion mania. We were forced to take second sortie and had to wait 2 hours in front of Uyum hotel

Is there a negative star ?
Trip Advisor and Viator should remove these people from their listings.
We booked the tour 45 days in advance (and paid). Operator (and the people who does the listing are different people from different cities - which to my surprise apparently normal practice) So we call the night before and receive our instructions (in-fact local operator was suppose to call however no one did, so I waited until 8:00 Pm and called myself, wonder what would have happened if I didnt call?)
We were told to go to pick up point (city entrance area by the ATM machines) and 5:30 AM and be ready... As responsible adults, we're there 5:15 AM ready to go... A minivan shows up 6:15 AM (45 minutes late) and tells us "hand tight - i'll pick up 2 people and back to get you guys".. Driver actually spoke to English at all, I speak Turkish, so we were able to communicate.
So he goes and comes back 30 mints later with full bus. (now we're waiting 1 hour and 15 minutes, sun is up already - suppose to be a "sun - rise" activity .. huh!)
We are now transferred to a open field where bunch of other balloons and people and dust and more dust... People are running - yelling - more yelling - tourist are trying to find their balloons... Kaos!
We're just left there, driver is hanging around behind me, so I asked which balloon is ours, he casually points me to the direction of a balloon in the back side of the field.
We see the balloon on the ground (being set-up), almost all other balloons are already in the air, it seems we were "over flow"... which I made the res month and a half ago... Balloons supposed to be our have holes on the side about 18 inches in diameter and there are there holes. Pilot guy says "oh it is OK" ... how could that be OK ? And he says "get in" to a basket about 4 feet by 6 feet with 2 huge propane tanks in it already. So it will be 2 of us, 2 other tourist and the pilot guy. Are you kidding? I am not a hitch hiker, I paid to top dollars for this.
So (mainly because of the holes) we refused and ask to be taking back to our vehicle.
a manager guy shows up, he says with very broken English "but you pay, yes..? you pay"... I signaled the driver to drive on, did not want to argue with this ignorant person.
This operation from top to bottom is a fraud, failure, irresponsible, cant find the right words. STAY AWAY !

We booked this balloon ride that was run by Unique Ephesus Tours Pamukkale via TripAdvisor two days prior to our anticipated balloon scheduled date of 4 October and, out of the blue, on 3 October, I received an email advising that, "Unfortunately your tour operator for Pamukkale Hot Air Balloon Tours had to cancel your booking."
We had a previous balloon booking a few days before in Cappadocia that was also cancelled but for this date we received an explanation that it was the Turkish flight authority that cancelled all balloon trips for our scheduled date due to safety reasons (all balloon trips scheduled for that prior date by all balloon operators were cancelled for that date so we understood).
However, this cancellation by Unique Ephesus Tours Pamukkale made no sense to us since flying conditions were excellent and on the morning of 4 October (our scheduled reservation paid date) there were at least 50 balloon operators in the air leaving us high and dry with no clear understanding of what happened to our own reservation that was just arbitrarily cancelled with no clear understanding of why?????
This would have been a once in a lifetime experience for me and my family that was missed notwithstanding me having trusted TripAdvisor and this tour company (Pamukkale Hot Air Balloon Tours) with this reservation and travel companies of this type of balloon tour should be aware that when they arbitrarily cancel a reservation (with no valid explanation given), they are denying paying customers of an experience that they are not likely to be able to repeat at another time.
When we spoke to another local travel professional in the area, he indicated that he felt that the tour operator probably cancelled our tour because for that date (Oct 4), other operators all sold out their capacity and this tour company (Pamukkale Hot Air Balloon Tours) probably cancelled our reservation to be able to resell our spots for twice the amount that we originally paid for our own booking.
EXTREMELY DISSAPOINTED AND PI**ED OFF!!!!!!!!!

Very nice staff, very nice pilot, very well organised…best experience ever! We were picked up from the hotel at 5:15 and afterwards we were droped back after the flight!

Very kind team. Pick up & drop off included. Best time is 6am to watch the sunrise and fly over Pamukkale. Would do it again

Very good Hot balloon experience !
From the pick-up at the hotel to the landing with a glass of Champaign, everything was well organized.
The most important thing is that the whole staff team was very nice.

Very good experience. They picked us up on time, did the air balloon ride and took us back to the hotel as expected. No problems at all. This is also the Best price for that kind of tour in pammukale.
