Great arrangement by Stoneland Turkey Travel! From the hotel pickup in Istanbul to the airport, flights, and car booking from Istanbul to Cappadocia, everything went so smoothly, thanks to the owner Mehmet and his team. We were lucky that the weather was good, allowing us to ride in the hot air balloon. It was an incredible experience! We joined the Red and Green Tours. Both tour guides, Selim and Merve, were very friendly and experienced. Merve, in particular, was extremely knowledgeable and informative regarding the background and history of the area. Selim, with his good sense of humour, made the tour more fun and interesting. Staying at the Hira Cave Hotel was delightful. The view from the hotel roof top was breathtaking, and it was clean and convenient. I highly recommend anyone visiting Cappadocia to stay at this hotel and book with Stoneland Turkey Travel, a very responsible and efficient agency.

I took a solo trip with Stoneland Travel and Selim to Hattusas. They are excellent guys! The company charges reasonable prices for solo tours, and their reps quickly respond and keep good contact. Selim is not only professional, but also kind and fun. He told me many amazing facts about the Hittites which I couldn't find in the books. We spent 2 days with Selim, our guide, and his driver and we had the best time ever. Not the typical, teacher-like guide you are used to. On the contrary, a down-to-earth, intelligent, witty man that would make most western guides look like a fool when it comes to how to treat tourists and how to manage with different characters/backgrounds. The 2 tours explore different parts of the wider Cappadocia region and if you book both of them, you have practically seen all attractions. If you are lucky to hop on a non-crowded tour, which was the case for the red tour for us, you "ll enjoy it more. The green tour was fully booked and due to the lack of respect of some people, the schedule was derailed. Again, Selim saved the day. He expedited the hiking part of the tour to make sure we had time for a coffee and ... shopping break. Win-Win situation for tourists and local merchandisers 😉😉 Would I reccomend the 2 tours? Absolutely. We enjoyed ourselves, we learned new staff and we did not feel bored or tired. Cappadocia is an amazing place but hard to navigate on your own. This travel agency made it easy for us!!

We went on a private tour of Derinkuyu underground city with Ramazan and learned so much! He is a local of Kappadokia and has a degree in history, so he could offer us a lot of information about the caves and the whole region in general. We learned a lot about the long history of Kappadokia and would love to have another tour with Ramazan!

On 12.06.2024 we spent the day with our guide Selim to go see Hattuşa and we had the best time! It’s a bit of a drive from where we were staying in Göreme, but Selim shared all kinds of interesting information about the area and it’s a really cool way to see Turkey. The archaeological site itself is breathtaking. As Americans, we’re not used to this kind of access to significant historical sites and we basically had the whole place to ourselves. It was June during our visit- I would recommend sun screen and a hat, and a decent pair of shoes since there is a small bit of hiking to do. But it was a beautiful, warm day, with a nice breeze since you are at some elevation. Lunch was also a treat- Selim took us to a great local restaurant and we greatly enjoyed our conversation during the meal! It’s definitely a long day, but if you love history and you love seeing something totally unique, I would suggest you go on this tour! You don’t want to miss out. Great organization, warm welcome and all attention on details to provide a super experience. We flight from Istambul and spend 2 days in Cappadocia and all went smoothly and with all people from the agency taking care of us. A special thank you to Mehemet and the guides, Selin (who is very nice, super friendly, a young lively human being that is always smiling - besides she knows were to find the best Expresso in Cappadocia 😀) and Selime (a intelligent man with a deep knowledge of history and with a strong willingness to share it in a simple and amusable way - a very wise an simple human being). From the moment I booked , communication and instructions have been consistent and clear. Mehmet did everything to accommodate all my requests and questions and he organized and planned the trip with all the activities perfectly . I didn’t have to go do anything or look up anything because he was consistently reminding us about the next activity. In Cappadocia, every single person (drivers, hotel stuff, your guides and the local people) were absolutely hospitable and welcoming. Special thanks to Selim who did the red tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and so cheerful. Our tour guide for the first day and his driver were also very helpful and friendly. After booking the tour online, we didn't lift a finger! Everything taken care of from transfer to Istanbul Airport right up to drop off back to our next hotel. We were fortunate to have Salim as tour guide for both red and green tours, he made a big difference in our appreciation of the sites and the humour and banter amongst the groups. Mehmet was professional and really helpful all the way, going out of the way in assisting to track down a jacket left behind on an airport transfer. I made new friends and had awesome bucket-list experiences! Hot Air Balloon, ATV rides and visits to centuries old historical and geological sites. Highly recommended!

Selim was a wonderful guide - he is very knowledgeable on Cappadocia and the evolution of the area. The tour took in the sunset at Rose Valley as well as going to castles. Dinner was in an authentic Turkish restaurant and was very tasty! Selim has perfect English and is a great narrator! Would recommend Selim and this tour highly.

We booked this tour through our cave hotel but loved seeing the various landmarks of the city. Our guide, Mesut was beyond phenomenal!!! He made the tour so much fun and speaks good English so you can understand the tour. He did a great job explaining things and answering any questions we had. He also offered to take pics for couple so they do not have to take selfies. I highly recommend this tour if you don't want too much history but be told enough and have time to explore on your own within the timeframes given. Tour is roughly from 10am-4pm with an extra hour included on the front and back end for transportation (which is included).

This was so much fun! Having done the red and green tour we thought we’d probably seen the best views Cappadocia had to offer, we were wrong. The few hours we spent on the jeep safari were great fun and we also saw the landscape from different locations and the sights were amazing. Our driver was brilliant, good fun and an iPhone ninja taking some great photos for us. We went out for the sunset and it was a beautiful from our view point. I’d highly recommend this trip along with the red/green tours and balloon ride. After completing all of these, our family really feel that we have seen and enjoyed what Cappadocia has to offer. Communication with Stoneland via WhatsApp was brilliant from the moment we booked and all the services they provided were on time, of a high standard and I believe offered good value.
