- 955elizab0 contributionsEphesus on an Izmir port dayOur tour was scheduled at 7:30am from the port of Izmir. Bilal and Yavuz were there early to meet us when we left our ship. Bilal had a sign and was very easy to find. Yavuz was an excellent driver, the hour trip to Ephesus was smooth and easy, and most of us slept in the back of the van. We arrived at ancient Ephesus as the sun was rising and we had the place almost to ourselves. The place is beautiful and Bilal provided a good amount of information and answered an unending stream of questions from my seven year old. I highly recommend visiting ancient Ephesus, it's incredible. After leaving Ephesus we made a stop at the Temple of Artemis before heading to carpet making school for lunch. We received a demonstration of how carpets are made, from extracting threads from silk worm cocoons to trimming threads. We even got to keep a couple of cocoons. The lunch was delicious and perfectly timed. After lunch we had a bit of time, so we visited a family who makes ceramics. We got to watch a demonstration of how pottery is still made in the traditional fashion, were served apple and pomegranate teas (both teas are amazing, definitely try whole in Turkey) and then the children got to paint a ceramic piece while the adults looked around. Of course the carpet and ceramics places are also places to buy goods, but handmade rugs and pottery are part of the reason people visit the region, and this is certainly lower stress than shopping in a crowded market. Then we made the hour drive back to the port. Again, Yavuz was a great driver and got us back in plenty of time. This tour was perfect for a pretty short port day, Bilal and Yavuz were sensitive to time constraints and making sure we got the most out of our day. We learned a lot from Bilal about the history and culture of the area and highly recommend taking a tour with him.Written January 24, 2025
- Chris_Acton2520 contributionsPertinent, knowledgeable and personable tourWell co-ordinated, knowledgeable and enlightening tour of Ephesus. During our ‘small group’ tour with “ Char ”we were not only able to learn first hand the incredible history of Ephesus but also many interesting details about current life & culture in turkey. Highly recommend this tour.Written January 21, 2025
- vedikar20250 contributionsExceptional 10 days in TurkeyWe went on a 10-day trip with this travel agency, visiting incredible destinations like Istanbul, Pamukkale, Ephesus, Antalya, and Cappadocia. Everything about the experience, from transfers and hotels to the guides, was outstanding. Umut, our main point of contact, was always prompt and responsive, readily addressing any questions we had. The hotels he arranged were centrally located, giving us the flexibility to explore or shop during our free evenings. All pickups and drop-offs were in luxurious, private vehicles. Our tour guides—İbrahim, Ismail, and Duygu—were not only friendly but also extremely knowledgeable and accommodating, adjusting the itinerary to meet our preferences. While the tour is described as a group experience, it was mostly private or, at most, a small group, which greatly enhanced the experience. We wholeheartedly recommend this travel agency to anyone planning a trip to Turkey. Their exceptional service, attention to detail, and ability to create a seamless, personalized experience made our trip truly unforgettable. For the price charged, the quality of service far exceeded our expectations. Can definitely recommend them for your next trip!Written January 6, 2025

- T4645ZEsofiap0 contributionsA memorable tripI am writing to share my experience with the 10 Days Wonders of Turkey tour. Overall, the trip was well-organized and offered a comprehensive overview of the country's rich history and diverse landscapes. Our guide, Çetin, was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. His explanations of Turkish culture and historical sites were clear and engaging. The itinerary was well-paced, allowing us to experience a variety of destinations, from the bustling metropolis of Istanbul to the tranquil beauty of Cappadocia. I particularly appreciated the balance of activities, the accommodations (always comfortable and well-located) and the food: the meals provided were flavorful and representative of Turkish cuisine. Overall, I would recommend this tour to anyone seeking a general introduction to Turkey. It offers a good value for money and a chance to see some of the country's most iconic landmarks. Thank you for organizing a memorable trip!Written January 4, 2025
- matteocG7616IR0 contributions10 magic days in TurkeyI have just finished a fantastic 10-day organized tour in Turkey and I can only express my complete satisfaction. The itinerary was well-designed and allowed us to discover some of the country's most precious gems, combining history, culture and breathtaking landscapes. Our journey began in vibrant Istanbul, a city that enchants with its rich history and unique atmosphere. From there, we took a flight to Izmir and headed to Kusadasi, a pleasant seaside resort that was our base for exploring the ancient ruins of Ephesus and the incredible terraces of Pamukkale. Ephesus took us back in time, with its imposing remains that testify to the grandeur of the ancient city. Pamukkale, with its white limestone waterfalls and natural pools, was a true wonder for the eyes. Next, we flew to Antalya, a fascinating city with a beautiful harbor. Finally, the highlight of our trip was Cappadocia. This magical place literally captivated us with its surreal landscapes, underground cities and rock-cut churches. The experience of witnessing a Sufi ritual was particularly touching and allowed us to connect with the local spirituality and culture in a profound way. The tour organization was impeccable. The transfers were smooth, the hotels comfortable and the guides knowledgeable and passionate. A special thanks goes to our guide Çetin, who with his professionalism and friendliness made our trip even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to discover Turkey in a complete and carefree way. It was an unforgettable experience that I will always carry in my heart.Written January 4, 2025

- Anitha07070 contributionsSirince Village tour with our guide, YesraWe had an amazing 4-hour private tour of Şirince Village with Yesra. The driver was very professional, and Yesra, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. She shared a wealth of information and even assisted us with shopping, making it a delightful experience. Şirince is a fantastic destination for tourists, offering a great variety of reasonably priced and unique items. We also loved the presence of friendly dogs and cats throughout the village. The tour included visits to a leather factory, where we enjoyed a fashion show, and a carpet factory, where we witnessed traditional hand weaving. Overall, it was a memorable experience, and we highly recommend this tour with Yesra. On time pickup, perfect vehicle and she even stopped for an orange farm visit. - 300jeanelleg0 contributionsUnforgettable tour!We would definitely recommend this tour. Ask for Char as your tour guide: He was delightful and very knowledgeable. We often get guides who slam us with too many boring facts, but Char's facts were interesting and unforgettable. He was patient and let us wander around and even took photos of us.Written December 28, 2024
