I like ancient history so I liked seeing the cities of Ephesus, Prime, and Miletus. Our guide, Güfte, helped paint the picture of the cities in ancient times and give us a better understanding. Our driver, Ogün, was always punctual and drive very safely.

Our guide Gufte and our driver Ogun took good care of us , Gufte explained lots of details to us about the history which is difficult to understand without her. Ogun drove carefully and made sure the transportation is clean and efficient. I highly recommend them.

Our tour guide Derya was extremely knowledgeable & professional. She provided us with great context and historical facts about the places we visited. Additionally, she also planned the day as per our preference, with activities well paced & food places catering to our diet restrictions. As for the city of Ephesus & the house of Mary, it was well beyond our expectations & turned out to be the highlight of our Turkey trip. 100% recommend the tour

What a great experience from start to finish. First time booking a private tour and it really was so worth it. Private pick up at the airport and customized tour once our guide spoke with us and determined what we would like. Tour was modified as we went through the day to accomadate time and interests. We asked Puerto Travel to design a tour which had(in my opinion) the most important archeological sites. This would include Mt. Nemrut, Göbekli Tepe and Karahan Tepe. I also wanted to visit Ankara and Istanbul. The trip worked very well. I was picked at the programmed time, and we(my wife and I) were able to see all the sites. They were very attentive to the needs of my wife, who has mobility probems. Additionally, they chose guides who were very knowledgeable about the history of the sites we visited. In summary, they were able to taylor our trip to the requirements we put forth, booking the appropriate flights in order to insure that we could make the most out of the limited time we had.This is our second time using this tour company and I would contract them again in a heartbeat.

Gufte is a very knowledgeable guide whose pride in modern Türkiye, its many faceted culture & ancient histories made touring a relaxing & stress free experience. Personable & with good humour, Gufte’s warm & truly friendly personality made us at ease & happy to spend two days touring with her. For Gufte nothing was too much trouble or not open for discussion. A highly recommended guide with an excellent driver!

Date of experience - 27th May 2024 We met Huseyin, our guide on arrival at Izmir airport and had the day with him to see Ephesus. We had such a lovely time with Huseyin, learning about the region and its sights He took very good care of us, away from the crowds and was very friendly yet professional. Huseyin took us to a very quaint and cute local restaurant for lunch which was peaceful and had excellent local Anatolian food. Ephesus was a huge awe inspiring site definitely worth visiting. Thank you for the nice time and we wish Huseyin all the best for his future.

Hold on to your hats everybody as I am about to state the obvious. "A GOOD GUIDE MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE". We first visited Ephesus and its associated attractions in 2019 and left confused and frustrated due to our guides complete inability to relate to anyone without a Masters in ancient history. Fast forward to today for the do over. We were picked up on time by the team from Puerto Travel. Gufte was our guide and Askin was our driver. We give them both 12 out of 10. Askin has a beautifully clean vehicle and was a very safe driver. Gufte was an amazing guide who had great language skills and could put all the relevant information into an easy to understand commentary, something our previous guide could not do. The day started with a visit to the house of the Virgin Mary and proceeded on to the city of Ephesus. We then had lunch at a lovely rustic cafe (try the gozlemes) and proceeded on to the Temple of Artemis. You can choose to visit leather, turkish delight or carpet outlets on the way (the carpet one was really interesting). We were returned to our hotel with a new found appreciation of these sites thanks to Gufte. A big special thank you from us to Gufte, Askin and everyone at Puerto travel for a great day😄😄

We did The seven churches and Pamukkale. Guftee was our tour lady. She was patient, knowledgeable, attentive, caring and much more. I believe she does mix groups but, if is a group of ladies , she’s your girl. Ogun was our driver. He also was caring attentive toward us. He kept cold water bottles in a cooler for us at all time.
