We had a personalized and private, two-day trip with Depart Travel Services that covered 1100km and we won’t forget a single Kilometer of it! Our driver Mohammed was incredible. I’m not sure he made a wrong turn the entire trip while never even using a map! I don’t usually like to let anyone drive, but he passed the test!!! Our guide Sliem was also amazing. He was professional and always kept us informed! He joined us for dinner Camping Dune Insolites in Sabria and helped us take some incredible photos!

Amazing trip amazing guides... Jalel was calm and knowledgeable... yet knew when to step aside and let us enjoy the scenery. We had so much fun with these two. We were lucky enough to be only us two in the jeep with the driver and guide. I can imagine that more than 4 people the entire trip would be painful to endure spacewise. So many awesome moments. Tataouine could have been skipped, but chenini and ksar gilhan oasis were superb. What a choc. The desert oh my God... a once in a lifetime adventure. Don't expect anything fancy about the sleeping installations... cocroaches in the washrooms but we didn't mind. It's part of the trip. Only downfall The server at the ksar ghilan camp got a little to friendly with my husband and was talking about finding him a new tunisian wife so he would stay in tunisia... disrespectful to me...

This desert excursion absolutely proved to be the highlight of our trip to Tunisia. Ahmed - our tour guide - spoke excellent english and was an absolute fountain of knowledge. Ahmed made sure we had the absolute best experience over the two days we spent together. Compared to other tours we encountered along the way, i can confidently say that our experience and the offering from this tour was far superior. Despite there being many stops along the 2 day tour, things never feel rushed. The camp for the 1 night stay is very impressively equipped (showers, bathrooms, comfortable bed, restaurant...). The night sky over the camp is an absolutely mesmerising and once in a lifetime experience. Renting the quad-bikes is an extra cost (not part of the tour price - 400 dinar per person) but 100% worth it (the other tours don't offer this experience). Would suggest to do the tour not in the height of summer (we went in July and it was HOT but still manageable and the tour car has AC and the day is daily activities are planned to avoid the peak heat. Overall, I cannot recommend this tour enough, it will leave you with lifelong unforgettable memories (and absolutely killer pictures!)

We had a great ride to the Laguna with horses and camels. The trip was fun, amazing friendly guides and the animals are well cared for. Would recommend!

We love the experience... the best in Djerba. We loved the experience...from tatouine, the visit to Chenini, as well as Ksar Ghilane. We cross the desert on quad bikes for 20 km. We did the visit to Matmata too and it was amazing. The guides Majid and Borat were fantastic...always concerned about our well being. They are very friendly. The guide was kind , proactive, friendly, and spoke many languages. He gave us good tips on how to haggle, what to buy, and a great history of the land and its people. My experience on this tour was once-in-a-lifetime and I can't recommend it enough

We requested Depart Travel to provide us with private transportation and Spanish speaking guide for our family during a 8 days tour around Tunisia that we designed. The driver, Yousef, was really professional and always drove safely, besides being very friendly. The guide, Riadh, is an exceptional man, very knowledgeable and he was always thinking on our confort. We were 9 people including children and elderly, but he always reacted in a very understanding and calm way to all of our demands. The CEO of the agency, Ahmed, replied my mails always in the short term and provided us exactly what he promised. I cannot complain at all. I wish you good luck.
