Thalane Bay or Ao Thalane is one of the most popular location for kayaking. It is beautiful and splendid area with abundant mangrove forests , limestone mountains , caves, lagoons and canyons. You will enjoy kayaking and paddle easily in the tortuous route, calm river without windy and wave, sometimes you can see sandbar when the level of tidal is low. You can also get learning about ecosystem in abundant mangrove forests. If you paddle into that area and pass through the towering limestone mountain and quite canyon that is the most beautiful view point of Thalane Bay. All the route is surrounded by intricate limestone mountains, it seems to be provided rooms by the sea that's called " Lagoon ", the shelter or hidden place for fishermen when was the monsoon season because the limestone mountain ranges protected the storm and the wave from outside.

4 Island tour
This trip consists of 4 island tour. It starts with Poda Island. This island has nice view and excellent beach. Then there is one island which is very beautiful with a cafe. Then they take you to see Chiken island which is in shape of chicken. At end they take you to see Railey Island which is comparatively bigger. It has a small beach Overall it is a wonderful experience.

I am happy with the 7-island Snorkeling + Sunset
The Krabi 7 Islands tour exceeded my expectations. It's well organized with 3 times of snorkeling . The staff were friendly, even when I provided the wrong hotel name for pickup. Their efficient communication via email ensured a smooth experience. The scenic beauty and bioluminescence made this trip truly enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Magical islands
We visited several beautiful islands. The trip started in the morning and finished after sunset. The local guide was funny. You could snorkle and swimm at certain stand bys, but there were many huge jelly fishes in the sea. The nature and sea were sooo beautiful. We had dinner-picnic at the last island and wait for the sunset. So magical. In the dark we made a stop to experience bioluminescent sea. I recommend some additional clothing for the evening-waterproof. The water was always on hand and you also get some fruit.

How to Ruin a Day Trip 101
Our tour guide spoke very little English, which led to much confusion throughout our "trip" which is probably why we got literally NO explanation about the itinerary, general info and was generally terrible. The whole crew was a bunch of 16 year olds who overcrowded our "small group" experience with 30+ people on a tiny boat with no bathroom. We were supposed to go to 2 snorkeling spots, but no one was told to change into swimsuits beforehand so only a few got to experience it. And on the way to the second island, the teenage crew blew out one of the engines forcing us to forfeit islands 5-7 and the "Beach Sunset BBQ" became regular restaurant dinner with a kebab. Overall, 30% of what was promised was delivered. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Rent a private boat. ItItss more expensive, but you'll be glad you did.

What an amazing trip and guide - shark spotting
Amazing day out - so many different trips to choose from and so many reviews. We went as a family with 12 and 15 year old boys and weren’t sure what to expect with some mixed reviews. The day was superb - guide james and his team could not have been better - very organised, attentive, perfect English and local knowledge including where to see the sharks at “The beach” and then even snorkelling with us and finding a shark for us to view. You could tell how much he enjoyed his job and pleasing his guests. Food was as you expect for this price and good enough and it is a number of islands so short stays but how else could it be done? Absolutely loved it and would recommend to all to take this option as there were couples, singles, families and groups and all enjoyed it!

Enjoyable experience
A must visit island, you will never regret. I did not go from Krabi, but I went from my next location Phuket.Whenever you plan it either from Krabi or Phuket, plan it with speed boat. It should include National park fees and canoeing. It is cheaper from Krabi because of distance. Limestone caves, canoeing through rocks and photography at James Bond island is awesome. Lunch they provide is excellent. It is a full day trip. Bargain for best price before booking. You should book it after you reach Thailand.

One of the best and memorable experience I had on my trip. Our tour guide was very friendly and helpful with an excellent sense of humor. The trips to the islands were excellent, the food tasteful and more than enough. If you are a nature lover, this tour is a must.

Good tour but can be better if the places are done in correct order
We went through this tour in June, it says by Oh-hoo company, however, the actual company that came for the tour was Cat something. The places that we visited were not in the correct order, for example, the most relaxing activity: The hot spring was done first followed by the second relaxing activity of Emerald pool and visiting Blue pool (almost 3kms walk), Tiger cave temple, if you're planning to go to the top of the summit be prepared for 45-50 mins hike and then 30 mins to come down, beware of monkeys on the way. The tour gave only 1.5 hours for this activity and the most strenuous activity was left for the last. There is a tiger cave temple located downstairs with just 100-200 m walk. Be prepared to carry cash as the National parks and other activities fees is not included in this activity

Wonderful adventure
What can I say. Penny made this one of our favorite things we’ve done during our 16 day trip to Thailand. Penny is a beautiful person, fun, charming, and oh so knowledgeable. My granddaughter and I had the best time ever. Penny shared all her secrets and I immediately had to go on Amazon to buy exactly what she recommended. Amazing value trip
Amazing experience, great value for money. People were lovely and really made the effort to make sure we had the best time. Food served at lunch was good too. Only slight drawback was seeing the elephants being ridden on the banks as we came down the river. This was not pushed onto us though, it was just sad to see. Couldn’t fault the trip at all.

Prompt pick up from hotel and very good communication via WhatsApp beforehand made the whole excursion smooth.
As for the trip itself, the guide spoke good English, gave us good safety instructions and was knowledgeable. As a family of 13 we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would return again.

Was an amazing experience in Krabi. We paddled for about 2 hours, which was enough personally as it was a bit demanding physically than I thought. Before we hopped on a kayak, the guide explained well enough how to paddle, the route that we’re going to browse, and basic safety features. The route was a bit tricky for a less experienced one like me but was so much fun. Pickup and dropoff so as some coffee and snacks are all included in your trip and there was no hidden fee. I highly recommend if you’re looking for some fun activities in Krabi.

Our guide was very friendly & informative. He spoke very good english. Pick up at hotel was on time.
Kayaks were great and it was something to do with little excursion. We were all disappointed as we only saw 1 bird, a few crabs and 2 monkeys from afar. Thought we’d see much more wildlife. It was uneventful. I’d recommend going at high tide if possible and perhaps at sunset as at least something to see

I was missing a little more information from the guide about general background/stuff about for example how did this landscape form, what is a Mangrove forest, which animals/plants can we spot today. I'm just comparing with similar tours I have already done in other countries. Also transfer on the benches at the back of the pick up made me feel a little unsafe since it is a minimum half hour ride, but I know that this is absolutely standard in Thailand and that this is my European brain making my uneasy there.

Nature and Canyon views for fair price

The trip is really great for kayaking beginners. Also we recommend going at high tide so you can actually go in a circle.
We loved the view of the canyon from the inside and it was a true jungle experience.
The team offers waterproof bags which is really nice. If you are advanced at kayaking or have kayaked to Railay already don’t book this tour because some people we met were disappointed. We loved it because it was a good mixture of nature and activity for a good price.

Impressive

Very impressive with the natural around. I had to hire a guide because it was 7 km kayaking, Pe’ Dam is very professional I can feel safe with him. I paid 1000 baht cuz I’m solo and not worth for them to pay for one pax I can understand. I also got a plate of fresh watermelon and bottle of water after finishing kayaking and also pics and videos from your guide

The price was reasonable (its still a bif of a long drive to get there) and, all in all, one of the best experiences in the Krabi area.

A lovely day in the mangroves

An amazing afternoon, i enjoyed the kayaking. The trip was well organized, not to many people around. Due to the tide we could not go around and had to return the same way we came in, but nonetheless it was an true adventure in a beautiful surounding.
