- theilluminati800 contributions4 Island tourThis trip consists of 4 island tour. It starts with Poda Island. This island has nice view and excellent beach. Then there is one island which is very beautiful with a cafe. Then they take you to see Chiken island which is in shape of chicken. At end they take you to see Railey Island which is comparatively bigger. It has a small beach Overall it is a wonderful experience.Written August 16, 2024

- OnAir6389470 contributionsI am happy with the 7-island Snorkeling + SunsetThe Krabi 7 Islands tour exceeded my expectations. It's well organized with 3 times of snorkeling . The staff were friendly, even when I provided the wrong hotel name for pickup. Their efficient communication via email ensured a smooth experience. The scenic beauty and bioluminescence made this trip truly enjoyable. Highly recommended!Written August 6, 2024
- 765nata_ak0 contributionsMagical islandsWe visited several beautiful islands. The trip started in the morning and finished after sunset. The local guide was funny. You could snorkle and swimm at certain stand bys, but there were many huge jelly fishes in the sea. The nature and sea were sooo beautiful. We had dinner-picnic at the last island and wait for the sunset. So magical. In the dark we made a stop to experience bioluminescent sea. I recommend some additional clothing for the evening-waterproof. The water was always on hand and you also get some fruit.Written August 1, 2024
- 454robertz0 contributionsHow to Ruin a Day Trip 101Our tour guide spoke very little English, which led to much confusion throughout our "trip" which is probably why we got literally NO explanation about the itinerary, general info and was generally terrible. The whole crew was a bunch of 16 year olds who overcrowded our "small group" experience with 30+ people on a tiny boat with no bathroom. We were supposed to go to 2 snorkeling spots, but no one was told to change into swimsuits beforehand so only a few got to experience it. And on the way to the second island, the teenage crew blew out one of the engines forcing us to forfeit islands 5-7 and the "Beach Sunset BBQ" became regular restaurant dinner with a kebab. Overall, 30% of what was promised was delivered. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Rent a private boat. ItItss more expensive, but you'll be glad you did.Written July 30, 2024
- michaelrH7501KH0 contributionsWhat an amazing trip and guide - shark spottingAmazing day out - so many different trips to choose from and so many reviews. We went as a family with 12 and 15 year old boys and weren’t sure what to expect with some mixed reviews. The day was superb - guide james and his team could not have been better - very organised, attentive, perfect English and local knowledge including where to see the sharks at “The beach” and then even snorkelling with us and finding a shark for us to view. You could tell how much he enjoyed his job and pleasing his guests. Food was as you expect for this price and good enough and it is a number of islands so short stays but how else could it be done? Absolutely loved it and would recommend to all to take this option as there were couples, singles, families and groups and all enjoyed it!Written July 26, 2024
- pradiptakumarmishra0 contributionsEnjoyable experienceA must visit island, you will never regret. I did not go from Krabi, but I went from my next location Phuket.Whenever you plan it either from Krabi or Phuket, plan it with speed boat. It should include National park fees and canoeing. It is cheaper from Krabi because of distance. Limestone caves, canoeing through rocks and photography at James Bond island is awesome. Lunch they provide is excellent. It is a full day trip. Bargain for best price before booking. You should book it after you reach Thailand.Written June 20, 2024

The ride around Cheow Larn Lake was beautiful and that’s the main positive of this experience. However, the whole tour was overpriced for what we did and no information was provided on local species, geology, or history. Local cultural perspectives were not expressed and this tour only catered to western tourists. The guide was also miss-informative about animals and mistreated them on multiple occasions, such as shining stroke lights and screeching at bats to get them to move. Did not approve of the kind of treatment of wildlife. The whole experience made me feel scummy to support this type of tourism.

We had an amazing experience and everything was ok but we weren't informed at all beforehand of what to expect and how to prepare, just some advice to bring swimsuit and mosquito repellent and hiking shoes. We arrived to Khao Sok by private transfer and then went with a long-tail boat for more than an hour on the lake, stopped to see some rocks and take pictures but the guide didn't say anything about the national park or any information as a real guide should do. He just drove the boat. Then we reached a point where there were houses on the lake and where we had lunch. The food was goood and diverse. Then we found out that we are going on a 3h hike in the rain forest and through a cave of 1km where there are bats and had a river inside and some parts we need to swim which my friend didn't really know how to...we didn't know anything like that when we booked the tour or when we reached Khao Sok just that there will be a hike..also he said to bring our own head flashlight which of course we didn't have. Thank god we had a waterproof bag to put our valuables because we took them with us in the cave. On the way back the road was quite slippery and it was hard sometimes to not slip and don't recommend this hike for anyone..even in the cave I fell a couple of times because of the rocks in the water. Overall, it was a thrilling experience, we were in a big group and felt that like a big challenge which I'm happy I did, but wished I was more prepared before and knew what I signed up for.

We made this release based on the positive reviews. The cost is high we had a lot of expectations in the end the release was disappointing it's not worth it at all. The price is not justified! The trip was long, 3 hours there, 3 hours back (2 hours van + 1 hour boat), our driver was late, 40 minutes of waiting in the lobby of our hotel, the organizer unreachable, our hotel called them 15 times during 30 minutes… Concerning the activities, the visit to the cave only lasted five minutes, we only made the entrance, I thought it was a joke. The 10min hike, in single file, very slow, the guide stopped every 2min to explain what a bamboo is, we heard, so little challenge that we could even do the trek in flip-flops. The shared meal takes place in a sort of canteen near the lake, with large tables for groups. The food was okay, be careful, a father and his daughter give ice cream in the canteen but it costs money. The canoeing experience, far from being exceptional, we were already bored by the rest, but it continued there was no not enough canoes for everyone, it was quite frustrating to wait, and no explanation that we had to first leave a deposit for the paddles and then wait for someone to return with a canoe. return left us all soaked.. luckily we didn't stay to sleep there 0 network, comfort, and there's really nothing to do, in 30 minutes you've done the tour.
Overall, considering the price, the experience was disappointing and overrated in terms of rating and price..

personally i wouldnt bother 177.00 i paid for this for my partner and i. the driver was 40 minutes late this morning.
the tour guide was good
but for the value of money can do other breath taking things on the island that is far cheaper. 2 hours to commute to khao sok was mostly then carted around on a long tail boat all day. was supposed to be picked up at 7.30 didnt get us till 10
past 8 with the commute and then the briefing and 45 minute long tail boat they give you lunch streight away its just too much time consumption for little return on the jungle hike and the hidden cave then for
a 2 hour and 45 min (including boat) commute back to krabi.
had to also chase up the tour guide company
not once but twice for pick up times. only saw a monkey on the jungle hike (pot luck i guess )
its just an expensive tour for what it is and for little return.
but does have great views

Overpriced for what it was. The lake itself is amazing and I totally recommend the visit, but everything else about this trip was mediocre at best. Transport was fine, comfortable, the boat through the lake was amazing, but we got zero to none information about the park, the lake, anything... The guide was just there, making jokes which was nice, but he was not really that helpful. The crew was fine. The cave was nice (although not that special if you ever visited any cave), it took like 10 minutes top, but the nature around was breathtaking. The jungle track... that might be my biggest complain - it was just that, walk through the jungle, nothing more. It did not feel safe, fortunately nothing happened to anybody,. Again, we have been told no info about fauna or flora, really waste of time. But I suppose it was still better than waiting for 90 minutes at the restaurant, which was the other option. The swimming options there were not that great, nothing to do there, really. Honestly, beside the lake cruise, that is breathaking on itself, I do not understand what I paid more than 100€ for... I paid the same price for FAR superior trips in Thailand.

A waste of money and time!
- 1.5 hours by mini-van from where all the hotels/hotels/bungalows are located.
- Then we arrive at the lake pier where hundreds of tourists have gathered and form groups of around fifteen people to get on the boats.
- After spending 1h30 in the van, we spend 1h on the boat which slows down here and there to take photos before setting off again.
- The boat disembarks us on a bank to do a "jungle trail" consisting of walking 10 minutes in the jungle in a circle to see... A tree! Tree in front of which our guide said "You have 5 minutes to take photos, you can stand there, it's good for photos". After these few minutes of finally using our legs... Back on the boat!
- The boat then lands us on an artificial floating village for tourists where ALL boats stop to eat at midday. There we eat and then our guide tells us that we have two hours to swim and kayak.
- Swimming must be MANDATORY in the small space reserved for this purpose AND ALWAYS with your life jacket with missing straps at the risk of being reprimanded by the supervisors.
- There are not enough kayaks for everyone.
- If you don't want to stay 2 hours in the water or 2 hours under the sun in a kayak you can also... Wait sitting on the ground with dozens of other people.
- After these two hours wondering if we weren't being made fun of, it's time to get back on the boat to go for a short 10-minute tour in a cave in which the groups follow one another.
- Then, we go back on the boat one last time for 45 minutes, return to the starting point then set off again for 1h30 in the mini-van.
In short... Catastrophic activity, don't waste a day there.

Absolutely loved this trip to Khao Sok! I debated about taking a whole day away from Krabi and the beach, but I am so glad I did.
Our guide was so amazing- giving us history of how this lake was formed and since he lives in the jungle he gave a lot of extra fun facts on the jungle walk portion and took time showing us all the special gems of the cave we went to. So knowledgeable, thoughtful and really showed his enjoyment for his job.
I have done a lot of hiking around the world, I love to be in the mountains and this was so amazing in that it was like we were in the mountains. Seeing the towering limestone formations in front of you and layering in the distance, it was like none other and just magical and gorgeous. Pictures do not do it justice

Had an awesome time on the Khao Sok Cheow Lan Lake day tour! Transport from Krabi was smooth, the longboat ride had amazing views. Short bush walk and and got to explore a cave, nothing to strenuous. The tour guide gave detailed explanations and it was great to finish the day off with lunch and a swim.
I recommend bringing a change of clothes, towel, bug spray and some shoes you don’t mind getting dirty!

This trip was wonderful!! The scenery was probably the best we experienced in Thailand, our guide pointed out monkeys during the hike, food was delicious, and we enjoyed the hiking and swimming. Just be prepared for it to be a really long day and bring snacks -the time was much appreciated to experience everything, but we got dropped off at our hotel after 9pm and there wasn't an opportunity to get food after lunch. I still would definitely do this again and absolutely recommend this tour.

In itself the landscape is beautiful, you can see what is in the park. Park versus the organization for the van shuttle was chaotic. The cave is tiny and we spend 10 minutes there. The trek in the jungle is not really one, it is a straightforward path without difficulty which lasts 15 minutes. During the lunch break there was not enough canoeing and we could only swim in a defined area. If you want a little more thrill, go your way. If you want something very quiet this might suit you.
