- alanfC2523JZ0 contributionsA Trip Round Chiang Rai's Must -See SightsThe day trip was as advertised. 9 of us in the group. The guide, Skype, had good English and managed the group well. The minivan was comfortable, and as the tour lasted 12 hours comfort mattered. The temples and museum are show pieces rather than functional items; an experience and certainly advised as "must see" but for me they are an acquired taste. That said, the tour responds to a demand and in my opinion does it well.Written November 9, 2024

- 479franciscojavierp0 contributionsGood driver, bad guide and some tourist traps in this tourIt’s ok because you will have a driver a comfortablr bus to visit in one day all interesting things in chian rai. On the other hand, the information that the guide provided was very poor and we went to some tourist traps that the guide could avoid. Please dont pay 300thb to visit the “village” with the women with the rings in the neck. It’s horribleWritten September 10, 2024
- 294julietad0 contributionsThe must in Shang Rai in a perfect tourThe tour was amazing. We were a small group of three and travel in a nice and spacious car. Our guide (Sky) was a sweetheart, she explains to us details and the story of all sites. Give us the etiquette to approach and take photos. She also took amazing photos for me as solo traveler and for the couple that wanted one together. Food was delicious and in huge quantity. Before the trip she send you the details of the cost of the entrance and where to pay so you don’t go unprepared. Ease and stress free. I highly recommend this tour.Written September 8, 2024
- jenniferpF3374VA0 contributionsFirst time in Chiang RaiMe and my partner only had 1 full day in Chiang Rai and wanted to see as much as possible. I originally came across this tour on Get Your Guide, but if you can, book with them through trip advisor as it supports the company directly. Our tour guide was informative about each site we saw and explained the history very well. Comfy transportation and chilled water throughout the whole tour! Lunch provided was buffet style and complimentary water, soft drinks and other drinks you will need to pay extra. If there was any improvements I'd say, I wish we had more time at the White temple and maybe 15mins more at Baandam. Could honestly skip on the long neck Karen walk through but it does support the village directly. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who is short on time or wanting to see all the best parts of Chiang Rai in one day.Written August 26, 2024

- christopherbB2181VT0 contributionsA great day out if only short amt of time in Chiang MaiA full day, as expected and pretty much all major tourist spots visited. The visit to Karen village seemed staged and a bit exploitative but otherwise a great day trip. Our guide Sky was informative, humorous and very welcoming.Written June 21, 2024
- jedrekm0 contributionsHighly recommendedWell curated trip - very interesting and versatile. We managed to experience all the highlights of Chiang Rai region, packed in one day. Price includes delicious lunch.Written June 11, 2024
- twin710 contributionsGreat tour guide, showcasing main highlights of the areaWe were lucky to only have 5 on our tour, so there was plenty of room in the van. Our tour guide was friendly, helpful and knew his history. Van was in good condition, with bottled water supplied. We stayed an ample time at each destination. The white and blue temples were great to see. The Bandam Museum was unusual and interesting. The tea plantation was nice. The highlight of the tour for me was going to the infamous Golden Triangle, something l've always looked forward to visiting. The additional border stop with Myanmar was interesting. The only thing l wouldn't recommend is the long neck village. I was in 2 minds to see it. You pay 300 baht per person for this, and really all you see is the lady with the most rings around her neck. This is interesting, but the rest of the stop here covers a row of locals using their kids to try and sell souvenirs. We didn't really learn much. Your entrance fee goes to supporting the local refugees in this village, but l don't recommend it, or think one gets much out of it. Having said that, this was completed optional and not pushed on to us to participate in. Lunch was adequate at a local restaurant. It was a long day on the road, but had frequent stops and toilet breaks at the activities. Our guide was great and overall we were very happy with the Chiang Rai highlights tour. It was well-proced. Please give the tour guide a tip, as a few dollars to us, means more to them.Written May 27, 2024

- nicolemE3767WU0 contributionsAwesome tour with great tour guideThis was a great trip to see the big ticket items in Chiang Rai. Very safe for single travellers. Had read reviews about the Karen tribe being like a “human zoo” so was dubious, but it was actually very good. Children playing, food cooking in their houses behind the shops. Thank you for a great tripWritten May 12, 2024

- Nene0127940 contributionsChiang Rai - ExplorerA value packaged tour that takes you to a number of the more popular destinations/tourist attractions Getting ample time on your own at each spot to explore.. Given a basic explanation of each attraction. Lunch was ample and was a buffet style meal with approx 6/7 dishes one meat dish and the rest vegetarian.Written March 22, 2024
- glennz8820 contributionsNice tour with lots of sightsNice tour. Saw a lot of things. Guide spoke good English. Newer transport van. Well coordinated. Lunch was buffet and at a family run business. The visit to the village is expensive, and you really don't get anything except pictures with ladies who stretch their necks with rings. It's basically a market to buy things that some of the locals made. I assume the entry fee is to help the village. The temples are the main highlight of the tour.Written March 13, 2024
- C S0 contributionsDefinitely worth the time and moneyMy friend and I booked this 1000 THB tour. We were met promptly at 8am by Fido, our guide for the day. Fido was such a brilliant guide who not only explained and gave us information about each site we visited but also spoke to us about things we saw on the drive between places. He also took the time to answer any questions we had. We were given enough time to explore each attraction and also opted to skip one (as a group) which was great. We highly recommended this tour - a great way to spend the day in Chiang rai.Written March 12, 2024

Ru was an amazing guide! We highly recommend this tour. The bamboo cooking was great, one of the best meals we've had in Thailand. The trek was beautiful. Ru made us a really special bamboo souvenir that we loved. If you have the chance to do it, go for it!

One of the best tours we have done. To remember, unforgettable. If you like nature, authenticity, different things and trekking, this is a very complete tour in all aspects. It was impressive. The guide Mo, very fun and attentive. He was 10, with a lot of experience in the jungle, his family is from a town there. Sammy, who acted as driver and cook, was also very friendly and pleasant. Tour, without a doubt, 100% recommended.

Cool day in the jungle with 3 super nice and committed guides. We were 11 people from 6 different nations. First part of the trip challenging, the rest easier. We hide beautiful landscapes. Passed through tea plantations, cocoa, bananas, pineapples and small towns where they sold homemade souvenirs and cold coke and water.
Ended with relaxation in the hotspa.
The guides prepared wonderful food cooked in bamboo tubes for us.
Fantastic experience that I recommend to everyone who loves nature and movement 🤩

Our guide Wat was really great and the hike was good. We saw a few hill villages and also he explained about some of the challenges the people face. The bamboo cooking was interesting and the food was good. We also saw a pretty waterfall. The hike was around 12 km. A great experience!

Fun and challenging hike through the jungle! We are both active runners and hikers, and still were challenged by one very steep uphill climb. The guide was friendly and fun. He was also armed with a machete to cut down brush that was in our way. We hiked to many small villages, which was definitely the highlight for me. The lunch was also great and surprisingly tasty for being cooked in bamboo trunks.
Wear good hiking shoes, long pants, and bug spray!

An amazing tour that takes you along the edges and into the Thai Jungle in Chiang Rai. Our route was steep, narrow and at times seemed some of the less travelled paths in the jungle areas.
Walking through a number of villages and stopping for a bamboo cooked lunch was delightful.
The waterfall was a refreshing break from the walking.
Pack mosquito repellent and a change of clothes after the waterfall..

Super happy with the experience!! Would definitely recommend it.
We were picked up at our hotel and were driven straight to the beginning of the trekking. We saw beautiful landscapes and learned about the zillion uses of bamboo, incl. construction, cooking and manufacturing of items such as cups, spoons, etc. We made then a pause for lunch, cooked in the middle of the jungle, of course using bamboo. It was rice with omelette and meat. And a salad. Super delicious. Then we proceeded to continue visiting the jungle and overall four villages. We ended up the journey bathing at thermal waters.
Super glad and would definitely do it again.
