- Tania M0 contributionsBest Safari!Visited this national park and had the best experience of my life. We saw all the animal excepts the leopards which the guide says mainly spotted at night. The guides were amazing! We went into an open air truck and saw the animals in their wild habitat. This place is truly beautiful! Definitely worth it! Be prepared for the rough roads which was also the highlight of my tripWritten July 17, 2023
- shedrinb0 contributionsA once in a lifetime experienceI just finished a Nyerere day safari through Zanzibar and it has been by far the most amazing trip I’ve ever experienced. Our guide Cleopa was the best guide I could have wished for: he was genuinely happy to be with our group, which included a small and very excited child. He was extremely knowledgeable, kind and helpful and made the whole experience incredible. We saw so many animals up close (about 50 lions, several cheetahs, leopards, rhinos…), he just made the safari magic happen! We’ll be forever grateful to Mbio Mbio Safaris and especially to Cleopa for this incredible experience.Written July 6, 2023
- dominicks6510 contributionsAn unforgettable safari experience with an awesome tour companyI wanted to leave this review as it was the best experience I have ever had. To start with the booking process was so easy, my agent David was always super helpful in answering all my questions and making suggestions. I was a little hesitant because I was travelling by myself so I wanted a secure company. From the moment I arrived everything was as planned, the pick ups, the drop off's, the experiences and my guide Sele went over his way to make my dreams come true in terms of wildlife spotting in Nyerere. He was always so worried about my comfort and happiness. I can never thank him enough for making it possible for me to have an undescribable experience. I will definitely recommend this to all my friends. Asante Sana from the bottom of my heart Mbio Mbio Safaris.Written June 26, 2023
- I8031IBgeralda0 contributionsPerfect organisation, friends and knowledgeable guideIn short: I couldn't recommend more this tour and this company. This was our honeymoon and everything was like a dream, we enjoyed every minute of it. Now some more details to help you choose: Finding a safari is hard, we had hundreds of options, and I'm really happy we found Mbio Mbio. The communication through WhatsApp with Hilary before booking was great, he answered all our questions really patiently (and we had many as it was our first time in Africa). We took the mid-range version, which to be honest when we saw the accommodations looked more like luxurious to me, all the places we stayed were beautiful. Of course it's a question of budget, but if you can afford it I would recommend the mid-range option, because safari are exhausting, and slipping in a real bed in a beautiful tent or bungalow at the end of the day is magical. The tour was perfectly organised, from the pick up to the airport, the first night of hotel in Arusha, to the briefing each morning and evening to agree on times and what was next, the communication from every member of the staff was just perfect. Our guide was really friendly, knowledgeable of the parks and animals, and a really good and safe driver. He was always finding the best spot to see perfectly all animals, and we saw them all! The food at lunch is also really tasty and always plenty. The company has their own cook and one is coming with you to prepare 5-6 different pots for the car (we were 6 in the car so you can imagine it's a lot). So you will always have plenty and tasty food. For the morning and evening it will depend of the range you chose. If you confirm budget I think you also eat this food, which is really good, but we went for mid-range so we got the food from the accomodation, which to be honest could be Michelin restaurant. For the payment it went really smoothly, we paid 20% upfront my card online (a bit scary since we didn't know anything at the time but don't worry everything went well with them) and the rest in cash when arriving, so you will need to change dollars. To summarise, just go for it, you won't regret it, and I know the mid-range might seem like a lot of money, but it's great value when you live it, and not that expensive for what it is and the beauty of the parks and accommodations.Written June 25, 2023
- robertdT1947DW0 contributionsTop Safari at Nyerere from zanzibarMbio Mbio safari was an exceptional company to work with to book our African Safari. David answered our many questions and gave advice so we could set an itinerary exactly as we wanted it. Our guide Wilson Kihiyo was warm, welcoming and extremely knowledgeable. He patiently ensured we got to see every single animal we had dreamed about and then many more. We learnt so much about the animals and the country. It was the trip of a lifetime, one we will never forget. We loved it so much we are planning to come again. Thanks again Wilson for making our trip so special.Written June 22, 2023
- MarjavdMade0 contributionsTop guide Isaac! ShoukranWe experienced 4 more than fantastic Safari days. Our very experienced guide, Isaac, took particular care of that. Very hospitable, cool, relaxed young man. We were well spoiled with drinks, chips, banana, banana chips, picnic lunches, well arranged! Unbelievable how Isaac knows how to find and see the animals. A leopard perched in a tree, between the branches, almost invisible but Isaac saw it. A beautiful animal, we also saw one on a rock, breathtaking. We saw more than 35 different animals. Most up close. Thousands of animals and the BIG FIVE in total. The Rhino was a challenge but the last day in the crater we saw her! We were all very happy! We left at 6 o'clock in the morning because the rhino is best to find in the morning, so we also saw hippos out of the water! In short, 4 fantastic days in the Safari with Isaac, with which we also played music, even Dutch music, learned Swahilise words and a Swahilis song. Thanks Isaac! ShokranWritten March 10, 2023
- proly60 contributionsExcellent Tanzanian SafariA very good friend and myself did a 7 day safari through Sekop safaris recently and could not have imagined a better safari experience. The sights were amazing, the accommodation was second to none and our driver David was fantastic; knowledgable, personable and will become one of your best mates garunteed. Go with Seko safaris they are the BEST and you won't find a better time in TanzaniaWritten April 14, 2022
- wpkjr321700 contributionsGreat trip - difficult but very rewarding!I went by myself and was in a group of 9 people. Everyone in my group was great and we had a good time together. Tiffany and Sia had everything planned and from arrival until departure I had no worries. The climb was a lot tougher than I expected or I wasn’t in as great of shape as I thought I was but the guides, porter, and cooks made all the non-hiking stuff comforting. Hermint was our main guide and he was exceptional! His entire team made sure everything was ready for us and they kept our spirits high. The Summit Lodge staff was great and very accommodating. I would highly recommend this tour company.Written March 24, 2022
- festb20220 contributionsAn amazing Experience with seko safarisThis was our first safari, at Mikumi National Park, which is located about 300 km from Dar es Salaam. Even though this park does not seem to be very much populated with animals, we saw many different species, and our driver had a good instinct to find them - for example, he spotted a lioness next to the carcass of a buffalo, where nobody else seemed to be going. Also he drove very safely from Dar to the Mikumi and back, which is very important, given the intense traffic of trucks and buses on the road.Written March 22, 2022
- emmadJ7656IO0 contributionsBest Selous safariReliable and excellent service! We booked our safari to Selous with Victor from Seko safaris couple of months before we came to Tanzania. We are delighted. Victor was very accommodating and made sure we had a great experience. Our guides Nico and Alifa were truly amazing. We cannot recommend them enough. They were very knowledgeable and helpful. We shared a lot of laughters with them. Very friendly staff! Thank you Seko safaris!Written March 16, 2022
- adami9030 contributionsEcellent SafariExcellent and fast communication through WhatsApp. Very good service with pick-up and drop-off at the airport. The safari and service exceeded our expectations. Our guide Jacob went over and above to give us a great safari experience. Most likely he was the happiest when we caught the last one of the "the big five". During the week we had a great local food experience thanks to chef Matthew.Written March 16, 2022
- greenb2270 contributionsExcellent Kilimanjaro climbing!Seko safaris helped me with arranging the climb of mount Kilimanjaro through the Machame route. From the beginning until the end we were guided by professionals, guaranteeing a satisfactory and safe climb. We had daily health checks and the guides made sure that we drank 3 Liters of water every day and that we took our required medicines. The food and facilities during the climb were excellent. The guides takes additional oxygen with them to the top in case of emergency. Seko sasfaris also helped me with arranging safari in Serengeti and Ngorongoro. The guide was very friendly and could spot a lot of animals. Amazing! Seko safaris helped me arrange good quality accommodation during the safari. The speed of communication with Seko safaris, professional, personal and adequate service at reasonable price sets Seko safaris apart from other travel organizations. Highly recommended!Written July 23, 2021

- 4kianpalmer0 contributionsIt was a totally astounding encounter.I utilized Seko Safaris Agency to design an excursion with my school companions from the US. We visited Climb Kilimanjaro We additionally had the chance to investigate nearby dishes and music while at our lodge. Since I am initially from Tanzania, I have been to Safari trips previously, however our local area expert, knew incredibly itemized data about the creatures and the spots we were visiting. I felt that our guide was truly true and learned about creatures and simply broad life in Tanzania. I am truly happy that the planing was without hustle and they were astounding at ensuring everyone had all they required before, during and after the outing. It was incredible and I am anticipating another outing very soon!Written February 27, 2021

I have just completed the 6 Day Marangu Route with Seko safaris, summiting on the 28th Feb 2020. This is my second time on Kilimanjaro climb, What an amazing experience! I can't speak highly enough of all the staff at Seko safaris. From the original meet and greet with Fidell, our guides Laraha, Thomas & Daudi waiter Gabi, chef William and all the wonderful porters, the professionalism, support and encouragement was second to none. I celebrated my birthday on summit day there was a special cake for me that night and all my Kili family, fellow trekkers, guides and all the porters crowded into the mess tent to sing happy birthday to me it was very special. I also want to mention I was a solo female traveller and as it turned out the only female in our group. At no time did I feel unsafe or threatened in fact quite the opposite I was made to feel very special. If climbing Kili is your dream look no further than Seko Safaris!
