Our honeymoon in Tanzania was an unforgettable experience, and we owe much of it to the wonderful service provided by Great Image Expeditions. From the initial ideation and itinerary planning to booking and execution, every step was handled with professionalism, care, and a personal touch. From our first contact, Galina helped us design our itinerary and fine-tune it according to our wishes and preferences. But her support didn’t stop there—throughout our journey, she regularly checked in to ensure everything was going smoothly and was always available to answer our questions. We felt we were in good hands every step of the way. Then there was the agency's owner, Raymond, who greeted us warmly even before our safari began. Upon arriving at Kilimanjaro Airport, we realized that our airline had lost both our suitcases. While this was entirely outside the tour company’s responsibility, Raymond went above and beyond by following up with the airport, arranging for our luggage to be delivered as soon as possible, and helping us purchase some basic necessities in the meantime so we wouldn’t have to worry about our missing bags. Thanks to him, we were able to focus on enjoying our safari instead of stressing over the situation. The highlight of our journey was undoubtedly our safari guide, Joseph. He is a living encyclopedia of Tanzania’s wildlife, landscapes, and ecosystems. Thanks to his keen eye, we witnessed remarkable scenes we would have otherwise missed. Additionally, he was an expert driver and navigator, effortlessly handling all types of terrain and weather conditions. Beyond that, he was simply a great person to spend time with. Spending a week on safari with him was an absolute privilege and made our experience all the more memorable. Tanzania was a wonderful place to visit. The landscapes were breathtaking, and the people were incredibly kind and accommodating. The lodges were excellent, the food was always delicious, and our hotel resort in Zanzibar was fantastic. We were already missing Tanzania on our flight home and would love to visit again! We cannot recommend Great Image Expeditions highly enough. Their dedication, expertise, and genuine care for their guests made our honeymoon a truly extraordinary experience. I had the most amazing experience in January, thanks to the Great Image Expedition. I planned a short trip back home to visit family and relax. I chose them after watching videos on their YouTube channel. Raymond at GIE provided excellent experience. He helped me plan a day trip to Ngorongoro Crater, Sarvel Wildlife, and Materuni Waterfalls. Raymond was so helpful setting up our two week expedition to Tanzania. Arrangements were perfect for two days in Arusha, six days safari and a few days in Zanzibar. Bruno did a great job showing us around Ngorongoro, Ndutu and central Serengeti. The wildebeest migration herds with so many young was a fabulous experience. And topped off with a ballon ride to see them from above. There’s a lot to recommend in local agent to set up your trip

We were a family group of eleven that went on safari with the Great Image Expedition. Our driver, Bruno, and Said were absolutely amazing. We not only saw the big five, but we saw everything our hearts desired. I wanted to see a snake and butterflies, and they found a good-sized African rock python and, later, a very pretty black and white butterfly. My SIL wanted to see hippos and rhinos. We saw both. We also saw lions on fresh kills twice! All we had to say was, "We want to see," and they made it happen. Of course, there are no guarantees about what one will see, but I think a good, knowledgeable driver makes all the difference. After very long days of driving, They cleaned and washed our vehicles inside and out. It was spotless every morning. The Great Image Expedition Safari crews obviously take great pride in their work. Our lodging and meals were fantastic. This was definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I can not recommend this company (and especially our guides) enough. Thank you for a wonderful trip!

This by far was our best trip ever. The wildlife, the accommodations, the customer service, the Hadzabe tribe, everything was EXCELLENT. Great Image Expedition is the way to go. We will be back!!

It's not easy to get a unique experience in a new country, but our journey was incredibly smooth. All our plans from the beginning were so perfectly managed that there was no room for worry. From the safari to spending time with the local tribes, everything was amazing. That exceeded our expectations. They responded as soon as they received the email. Raymond not only fulfilled the responsibility but also made our experience even more special. Her sincerity, care, and efforts to make every moment enjoyable are truly appreciated. Our 8 days safari with Great Image Expedition was absolutely incredible. From start to finish, everything was seamless, and we couldn't have asked for a better adventure for our honeymoon. We travelled to the serengeti on a 6 day tailor made trip with GIE (fully locally owned and operated-small family run business) and I was blown away with the professionalism of the organisation. We landed at Arusha and Raymond and his lovely wife Rosemary were there to pick us up. They were super helpful and went out of their way to accommodate our requests for lunch, to be taken shopping and to a place to get our laundry done and so on. They were like family friends eventually. We stayed for 2 days in Arusha. They took us on a one day tour to a coffee plantation which was very enjoyable. Then we drove into the Serengeti with Bruno. We stayed in tented lodges for 6 days. We opted for the luxury tent options and I was amazed by how comfortable and luxurious they were. Absolutely 5 star places! Bruno was very passionate about his work again going out of his way to show us the animals, super professional and extremely knowledgeable. He could pick up fresh lion footprints on the trail and we followed for a bit and were rewarded with seeing them. He had an encyclopedic knowledge of the birds locally and could accurately identify them and showed us in his book of birds in the Serengeti. At all times, the team came across as very helpful and genuinely concerned for our welfare. What especially endeared me was how down to earth and friendly these guys are. I can also say the organisation is super honest. I got a receipt for all expenses and I can safely say, I would trust these guys with my life (and my money). So, if you are looking for an honest tour operator, go with GIE.

Raymond provided outstanding service from start to finish, helping me create the exact experience I wanted. They were always available to answer questions and offer support, not just before the trip, but during and even after it as well. Our guide, Mbeche, was fantastic. He took us through Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Serengeti, and visits to the Maasai, Hadzabe, and Datoga tribes. His professionalism and knowledge stood out as he patiently answered all our questions and shared insights about the wildlife, culture, and history of the region. His ability to speak both Spanish and English was a huge help, especially for my father, who doesn’t speak English. On the game drives, Mbeche impressed us with his ability to locate animals and his deep understanding of the land. I highly recommend this company and Mbeche for anyone looking to explore Tanzania. They made our trip truly memorable!

We went on a 5 day private Safari from Sunday to Thursday with our 3 year old. Absolutely faultless and spectacular experience with Raymond and Bruno! We were picked up from Kilimanjaro Airport and taken to our pre safari Lodge - ALL of the accommodation chosen were perfect! We also had a night in a lovely luxury tent in the Serengeti! Raymond is so considerate and planned the trip perfectly with our little explorer, taking into account what she would need to have a comfortable journey. He advised really well and communicated exceptionally before our trip. Payment was a smooth online transaction beforehand to secure the trip. Food was 10/10 - we looked around and we definitely had the best guides with us. They really are 5* Our most memorable part was the picnic in the Serengeti... we will never forget that magical time! Ok so WE SAW ALL THE ANIMALS! Lions, elephants, leopards, cheetah, rhino and Raymond's favourite... THE HONEY BADGER 🤣 BOOK WITH THEM YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT! There is an office on the very rough road betwee Karatu and Lake Eyasi. There peopla need to stof and pay for the entrance Lake Eyasi Cultural Tours Hadzabe and Datoga., It costs 120 US$ for 1 dar. The office provide a guide. About 40 minutes dive there are many Hadzabe camps, but the camps are not on a fixed place. The Hadzabe are nomads and they live from hunting. Every car has his own Hadzabe group, to give information (the guide knows their language and can make translation. A very interesting way to learn about the life of this people. After we drive to a Datoga place. Here the Datoga does not live, its a place only for tourists. Nice woman, but they dont like all the viewers. Then there is a blacksmdt place, also only for the tourists. less interesting to laern than The Hadzabe

We had a wonderful journey with GIE. Raymond has been helpful and thoughtful. He did well to have our needs met. Our safari guide Joseph is a nice, polite man who speaks good English. He’s very experienced and can spot animals from far away. We’ve been taken to see many rare animals. The schedule is exquisitely planned thus no time has been wasted. In general, we are completely happy about our choice and we highly recommend GIE to people who want to explore Tanzania deeply and comfortably.

This was my first trip to Tanzania and I am so happy that I booked with Great Image Expedition. Raymond helped me to get the full itinerary set up and provided insight on other local activities since I had a couple of free days in Arusha. His expertise & helpful recommendations also extended to Zanzibar where I was also traveling to. During my time in this Serengeti my Safari guide made sure I saw all the animals I requested plus some bonus wildlife.
