My friends and I, a party of 6 visited Arusha, Ngorongoro and Serengeti 21–28 July 2023. I have been to these places before but several of my friends hadn’t. It’s not often that one travels to Tanzania for Safari, so the plan and guide must be good to make it worth it. The plan is in writing, that’s not difficult but the guide must be very good to make good plans work. Joseph is the man! Ever so polite and very knowledgeable! We planned 1 year ahead but animals change their plan. Great migration was no longer where it was expected. Joseph knows n he adjusts plan and we had the spectacular Great Migration before our eyes that lasted over an hour with crocodiles attacking wildebeest, etc. Keep guiding Joseph! We shall return ❤️

My husband and I were booked for a safari with Rusage through our hotel, and we couldn't have been happier with him. He has really good pacing as a driver. On our first drive, he stopped every time we saw an animal and told us all about that type of animal. Once we had seen a certain animal enough times, he would still point them out but knew we didn't need to stop every time. He also knows where to look to find certain animals, and he can read the patterns of animal movements to find predators. We were seeing the wildebeest and zebras grazing, and he started driving down a road that seemed empty and from like 200 ft away he spotted a cheetah hunting with its baby! I mean, it was barely a speck to my eyes when he saw it. He was able to find us every single animal we wanted to see! One of the drives, we set out to see a leopard, and sure enough, he found us one. He's also friends with all the other tour guides, so they all chat on the radio and help one another find the animals. We didn't realize it when we booked, but we could have booked with Serengeti One Safaris directly instead of through the hotel, which would have saved us a LOT of money. An added bonus of that is that more of the money goes to him instead of to a massive hotel conglomerate. You end up spending a lot of time with your guide, and Rusage was wonderful company. He really followed our lead, chatting with us when we initiated conversation, and letting us talk amongst ourselves or rest quietly when that's what we wanted. Next time we come to the Serengeti, there's no question - we're booking with Serengeti One Safaris!

I went on a 2 week adventure with my guide. My guide was amazing .. full stop he was the best experience that I had in all of Africa. Without this guide I would have literally gone home. He was knowledgeable. Caring. Relatable and excellent at his job. Very very good recommend . The safari was only amazing bc of This guide. No one else Could do what he didn’t he was and is a part of our family now. I highly reccomend him

We spent 4 days with Rusage driving all around Serengeti for our safari! Let me tell you this tour guy knows his stuff, we saw all the big 5 , he knew all the spots to go to so we could see every single animal ! Highly recommend booking his services. You’ll def get your money worth .

Joseph is an incredible guide and an incredible human all around! We spent 4 days in the Serengeti and he went above and beyond to ensure our family had the best possible experience with each game drive. He is so knowledgeable about the Serengeti (and Tanzania as a whole), always taking the time to explain the dynamics at play - the geography, environment, season, animal groups, etc.

I have had my honeymoon in Tanzania and Joseph was our guide. He has been driving in Tanzania Parks for 20 years, so he knows Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire etc perfectly. With him and their Company, you will have an excelent Safari experience in which you will see and learn a lot about animals. He also knowns perfectly where big 5 usually stay so you will have the chance to find many of them. I would recomend them to anyone desiring to have a good Safari complete experience.

Best Safari experience in Africa, very professional service, from a person who born in Serengeti, and flexible anytime, make your safari unforgettable! Totally recommended, the guide is an experienced guy who knows very well every corner of each park, really nice person who helped us until we come back to the airport, he is an amazing person and very passionate in his job, that's very important to enjoy with you in your safari time.
