About
We will take you a bit further up (10min drive by car) to start the journey. We will start by heading down on a slight slope on the border of Arusha National Park towards the projects of Africa Amini Alama. Feel free to visit the schools, the hospital or orphanage. We will have lunch under the Africa Amini fig tree, where we met before. On the way to Ngare Nanyuki you will continue to reach another border of the National Park. Have a look at the special vegetation around the river coming directly from Mount Meru. In the village you will also find our vocational training schools and can visit students in their carpentry, mason and mechanics work. After a few kilometers of farmland you will be back at the border of Arusha National Park. Allow us to surprise you before we continue the trip back with views over the Momella lakes and Mount Kilimanjaro. A magic road you will never forget is waiting for you at the end of this 20 km trip!

Walking into the Maasailand with my friend and a Maasai warrior was really incredible. We learned a lot about nature & healing power of the plants, but the most amazing thing was seeing how they live in their boma and spending time with the Maasai people and their cattle. Making the shoes was not that easy but a lot of fun and the goat food was good as well, although you need to get used to it. We didnt know that there is the option to also stay for 1 night in the Maasailand. So you can sleep either in the boma or under the sky with stars that bright we have never seen before. Next time we will definitely book overnight as well.
