- 524jonf0 contributionsPhenomenal ExperienceIf you are thinking of booking a safari in Tanzania, make sure you book with Travel Africa Safari Agency. Do not book with another agency, they offer the same exact tour with the same accommodations and same Toyota Land Cruiser Safari vehicles and charge thousands more. Special shoutout to Jackline who was super prompt in returning all of our questions promptly before we headed to Tanzania, to Joel, our Airport Shuttle Driver, who was awesome, and lastly to Aaron, our tour guide. Aaron has 22 years of experience and will take you everywhere you need to see the best wildlife scenes you could imagine. Make sure if you are thinking of booking a safari, you make the right decision and book with Travel Africa Safari Agency.Written March 14, 2025
- HolandaL0 contributionsA family holiday to Kilimanjaro (Lemosho, 7 days)Wauw! What an experience. We (2 girls from the Netherlands) booked the Kilimanjaro trip (Lemosho, 7 days) back in Holland through WhatsApp with Mohammed. Mohammed has been very helpful with answering all our questions before departure. When arrived in Arusha we met our guide the night before leaving on the trekking. He checked our gear and took us to a rental shop to rent a warm ski-pants (which we really needed!). During the hike we really felt taken good care off. Frenkie and Masai had one goal; taking us to the summit of the Kilimanjaro! And with succes! 🤩 We had great fun with all the crew; Frenkie, Masai, Petro, Emanuel, Lemburis, Isaya, Toni, Dikson, Jordan, Maiko en Samuel. They felt like family for a week. We sang and danced together and laughed a lot! The guides, Frenkie and Masai know so much about the environment, the birds, the animals and can answer any question. They are very professional. And petro, the chef, really is a Michelin star chef. He is the best! I am really recommending this company to everyone back home that wants to go to Tanzania. Thank you so much for giving us a week on the mountain that we will never forget! 🙏Written March 11, 2025
- peterjR235MM0 contributionsDefinitely worth it!!The views from Tarangire were amazing , we got see elephants, hyenas , lions, giraffes and zebras. It was also nice to see the huge baobab trees. The driver and tour guide Joseph was charming and gave us enough time to take a look at the animals. Highly recommend Joseph as the tour guide, thanks alot see you next time when I bring my family!Written March 9, 2025

- H3634RSsamanthad0 contributionsWonderful guide and superb experience! Our guide Joel was amazing. He picked us up promptly at 7am from where we were staying. We were not staying at a hotel so we just confirmed via WhatsApp that they could pick us up and they were able to do so. Joel is very charismatic and happy to answer all the questions we had. He always made sure we were comfortable and happy throughout the entire day! He also made sure that we got pictures of Mt.Kilimanjaro when it was visible and took great photos of us which was a bonus. I would 100% recommend this tour! For the tour itself, make sure to bring swim attire if you’d like to swim. We went when it was dry and sunny out and did not need hiking boots, but sturdy shoes with good tread is recommended. Bring cash for tips or souvenirs. Apart from that there’s not much else to share as Joel basically takes care of you the entire time and will go out of his way to ensure you have a great time :)Written February 22, 2025
- janiss9830 contributionsAbsolutely Amazing/ Amazing GuideWe had an absolute wonderful time with our Guide Silas Mdoe. His Knowledge about the animals and nationalparks is out of this world. But his personality and kindness is even better. We always felt safe in every situation. We saw so many animals and he drove us to every spot possible. Thank you so much!!! We went to the Serengeti and Ngorongoro with himWritten February 9, 2025

- JoseKevo0 contributionsChildhood Dream Come True with this Lifetime Experience!I booked through another agency and was placed with Joseph on the first day for Tarangire National Park. I was then reshuffled to a group with Simon for three days in the Serengeti and one day in the Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Reserve. The abundance of animals seen far exceeded any expectations and Simon went above and beyond at every opportunity to make sure we were well catered to as individuals and a group. The meals at camps, and on hood of the safari wagon, were copious and delicious; especially the homemade breads. As a seasoned traveler, this was my first safari and only my second tour but I would gladly return to Tanzania for another safari adventure - especially with Simon! Hopefully, his agency can provide him with a safari jeep of a higher quality. On the first day with Joseph, the one he was driving was newer with more room and individual consuls at each seat with working chargers - as told to expect. The one Simon had was much older, seats cramped tighter than a small airplane, only two chargers in the front not working, but worst was the loose metal frame holding the cooler in the back. Anyone sitting in the rear seats came away with scraps and cuts on backs of their legs simply from coming in/out or moving around. Simon and his guests deserve better.Written February 3, 2025
- Storyteller6013520 contributionsAmazing custom eight-day safari with Travel to AfricaWe went on an eight-day safari with Travel to Africa, and it was absolutely amazing—way beyond our expectations! Right from the start, everything went smoothly. Mohamed was super quick to respond to all our questions and helped us put together a custom safari just the way we wanted. When we arrived, Tunu and Jackline made sure everything was taken care of. Joel was so kind, friendly, and always on time—he met and saw us off at the airport and was our super guide in Arusha. But the real star of our trip was our safari guide, Athumani Simba! He’s not just a great guy but also an incredibly skilled and knowledgeable guide. He has an unbelievable eye for spotting animals from far away, predicting their movements, and getting us to the perfect spot for an unforgettable experience. We explored Ndutu, Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti, Lake Manyara, and Tarangire, and we were lucky enough to see the Big Five and so much more. Watching wildlife in their natural habitat was simply magical—like a leopard having lunch up in a tree, a herd of 28 elephants with their babies drinking, bathing, and playing in the water, and young buffaloes play-fighting. Every day was filled with incredible moments! It was truly the trip of a lifetime!Written February 3, 2025

- 481yuriiv0 contributionsUnforgettable 5-Day Safari with Asad & Travel Africa SafariReview for Travel Africa Safari & Our Guide, Asad Our recent five-day safari with Travel Africa Safari was an unforgettable experience. We visited Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Lake Manyara, and from start to finish, everything was exceptionally well-organized. Our guide, Asad, truly went above and beyond to make sure we had the best time possible. Safari Highlights Wildlife Encounters: We saw a staggering variety of animals—elephants up-close, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, black rhinos (from a distance), baboons, and more. The most awe-inspiring moment was witnessing the great migration of zebras and wildebeests in the Serengeti. Guide Expertise: Asad has over 11 years of experience, and his knowledge truly shone. He answered every question we had about the wildlife, their behaviors, and the local ecosystem. He also knew the best spots to find particular animals and was very patient whenever we wanted more time to take photos or explore. Friendly & Flexible Service: From ensuring we had enough water and restroom stops to accommodating small schedule changes (like letting us sleep in a bit later), Asad made us feel comfortable every step of the way. By the end of the trip, he felt more like a friend than just a guide. Extra Experiences: Even though visiting a Maasai village wasn’t initially in our plan, Asad offered to arrange it since we had some extra time, which added a culturally rich dimension to our safari. Lodging & Meals Kankari Lodge: We stayed here before starting the safari and again at the end of our journey. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, the restaurant was excellent, and the multi-course dinners were a delicious surprise. Shu’hudia Camp: This camp exceeded all our expectations—clean, cozy, and more comfortable than many hotels in big cities. The staff was friendly and the food was consistently delicious. Embalakai Camp: Located near Ngorongoro, Embalakai Camp was another highlight. The spacious room, hot shower, and attentive staff made it one of the most comfortable lodge experiences we’ve ever had. Each accommodation offered excellent service and mouthwatering meals. From breakfast spreads to five-course dinners, the food was consistently top-notch. Overall Impression We highly recommend Travel Africa Safari and especially Asad as a guide. The entire trip ran smoothly—transportation, lodging, and meals were all well-handled. It was a true African safari experience filled with excitement, comfort, and cultural discovery. Rating: 10/10. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide or a more memorable five-day adventure. We’re already looking forward to our next trip! Louise & YuriiWritten January 25, 2025
- Sjaak90 contributionsSuper nice unforgettable experience! In total a more than amazing experience! We were lucky to be driven through the Serengeti, ngorongoro, Tarangire and lake manyara national parks by Kisamo, super nice guy, funny, chill and super super knowledgeable. He was able to answer all of our questions and also very important ofcourse, he was able to scout out a lot of animals throughout the parks. On our last day we did the Materuni waterfalls tour with the coffee experience and the chemka hot springs where we were taken by another wonderful guide, Joel. He was so patient with us and took really really nice pictures for us and it was such a nice experience. Already the tour itself but even more so because of how Chill Joel was. During the trip we forgot a few things in the car but this was never an issue, we got everything back and all our things were well looked after. The whole trip in and of itsself was so nice with travel Africa. They are so accommodating and flexible, they even helped my wife surprise me for my birthday with a cake and decorations in the room! They arranged an extra night accomodation for us because our flight was the day after the last day of the tour. All in all, I really recommend Travel Africa safari agency for your safari. They made it such an easy unforgettable experience. I don't often write reviews for anything but If you see their page here and you're doubting, then you can stop doubting right now and book because you won't regret it.Written January 20, 2025

This was, to me, just the perfect game drive. Everything was wonderful, starting with our guide, Agustino, who had such a love for the animals and seemed to really enjoy sharing information about them without going overboard.
He had respect for the fact that we were there for the animals and gave us quiet time with them and I personally never felt too rushed - remember that this is 3 days but I felt we managed to get 4-5 days worth in. Agustino spotted so many animals for us, we saw all of the big five and all of the ugly five, too, while still being able to answer any questions our group had. He drove into spots and locations that seemed to beat out the other jeeps at the same viewing. Even when we were in camp at night, he was still spotting animals and explaining their behavior to us and it made camp and the nights as fun as the daytime drives. Agustino was always a bright joy to be around, regardless of the weather or anything that was happening and that made the experience very special.
Our cook, Michael, went out of his way to prepare different dishes in the evening, too, with a delicious soup one night that I wish I could taste again. We definitely felt like a temporary family for those days that felt beyond anyone just fulfilling a job.
I really can't recommend this safari more, it stands as the best overall tour I've ever taken, just the right amount of people (and the right people), days, pace, things we saw, everything. Highly, highly recommended.

I highly recommend this safari experience to anyone looking to truly enjoy and learn about the wonders of Africa. If you're planning your trip, make sure to request Malisa as your guide. With 17 years of experience, Malisa will make your safari unforgettable. He has an incredible ability to take you off the beaten path, avoiding the crowded spots, and ensures you experience the best of what Serengeti and Ngorongoro have to offer. Thanks to his expertise, you'll not only see the iconic Big Five but also many other unique animals, all while learning fascinating details about the wildlife and the area's rich history. This is an adventure you'll cherish forever!

In the first place Godfrey took us on a day trip to the Mataruni waterfalls straight from the Mount Kilimanjaro airport. Beautiful place and although the access is not easy, all members of our group made it to the waterfalls. Godfrey has proven to be an excellent driver both on our way in and out (all the way to Arusha). His english is excellent and explained us everything we asked him for. The next day we left for our private Safari Tour with Maliaki as our driver. He took us all the way to Serengeti and took us for a game drive late afternoon in which we already had an appetizer of what we would be seeing the next days....On the next day we spent the entire day at Serengeti and saw three of the big five already! Maliaki was also a great guide and often was able to spot the animals before any other vehicle got close. On our last day we got up early in order to make the best of our limited time and got early into the Ngorongoro crater. The entrance and exit of the crater is not easy at all, but once again Maliaki made it and also completed our list of the big 5!. But we still had to make it all the way back to our flight from Mount Kilimanjero airport and Maliaki (and Godfrey once again from Arusha onward) once again proved to be safe driver. In overall we were very pleased with all activities planned by Travel Africa and communications before, during and even after our trip with them. We certainly recommend them for your Tanzania trip! Great team and great value for money!

We had a 3 day tour and had a great time. Some tips here is to be patient and trust the guide will take you to places, I remember at the beginning of the trip I didn't understand why we didn't stop to see a hippo submerged in water, only for the next day do be a few meters from 50-100 of them resting in a small lake. In short we saw a ton of animals and had a great time. With the cheaper prices you should realize you'll probably be camping, and to be honest, while it's not as comfortable I found it an unmissable experience to camp with all these animals around and we were treated to some amazing views at night. Make sure to bring something warm if you camp, it can get cold at night. I also really appreciated the food throughout the tour.

I am writing this review to extend a heartfelt thank you for my 3 day safari experience, Tati bila, with Omar. His commitment to to ensuring our needs were not only met but exceeded contributed significantly to our unforgettable experience.
Above all, his knowledge of the grounds exemplified his expertise, allowing my group amazing opportunities to capture breathtaking photos. Omar’s attentiveness definitely enriched our safari experience.
I could not thank Omar enough for his outstanding efforts and commitment in delivering a memorable time. I will forever remember him for the way he entertained my group with jokes and stories about the history and culture of Tanzanians.

Man, how do I start my review? These guys surely know how to take care of their guests and they know what they are doing. Our group was composed of 10 people. So, there were two (2) vehicles carrying five (5) people each. It was so comfortable plus there was a cooler and charging port inside the car! Joseph was our lead guide and driver. He's very chill and he has a knack for spotting different animals even without the use of binoculars! Plus, he knows a lot about the history and culture of Tanzania. So, aside from learning about animals, you can also learn a thing or two about their history as well. He's very accommodating, polite, friendly, and a great driver.

The tour with Omar was incredible. Omar really knows everything about animals and is an incredibly nice person and very humorous. He took very, very good care of us. He even offered us to wake him up at night when we go to the bathroom in case we were afraid. He has a good contact with locals and tries to show a lot of Tanzania and culture outside of the tour. With him you feel very safe and you can rely on him 1000%. He has given us a very secure feeling . he knows all the spots where you can see the animals. even the rare animals. thanks to Omar we have seen everything in three days. Omar is worth visiting this country and these national parks again. Thank you Omar

After looking for different tour operators to help us plan our trip, Mohammed and his company really stood out. He was all the time available for us and he was able to arrange all that we wanted even in addition of the safari in a short time. We spent two amazing days in serengeti and a day trip to ngorongoro, where we could see all different kind of landscape and wildlife habitats, a one in a lifetime experience. I really recommend going with them as they will make sure all your needs are fulfilled with a positive attitude and genuine smile. Service as it best! 100%! Asante sana!

We did a 3-day Private Budget Camping safari and had the most incredible experience. Our guide Melvin was very knowledgeable and taught us so much about the different ecosystems we visited, we had a great time with him. We camped the first night at the public campgrounds in Serengeti N.P. and the second night near Ngorongoro crater. The tents were already set up on our arrival and we slept ‘like baby elephants.’ We were impressed with the quality of the food in the camps and had plenty of water and other beverages in the safari truck. Overall it was a truly once in a lifetime trip. Owner Mohamed Haroun is very communicative and met with us before and after the safari to make sure everything was great. They also provided accommodations in Arusha before and after the safari at a new hotel which had a good restaurant. Book with this company, you won’t be disappointed!

Very satisfied with the 5-day safari with the Travel Africa team and a big thank you to our English speaking guide 'Asad' for his professionalism and quality work.
He was very kind and attentive. Thanks to him, we could see the big 5, we visited the 3 national parks of Tanzania, the area of the parks was huge. We had the chance to see the cheetah , lions, elephants % very close, monkeys everywhere, giraffes, wildebeest migration (as well as several animals).
The car was well equipped, there was also water and drinks and music.
We got to know each other on the safari, we were like family.
The atmosphere was amazing and we were able to take beautiful photos and videos to keep track of our beautiful memories in Tanzania.
Asad showed us around the village of Maasai, we were able to discover the way of life in the village, we talked with the village chief and we danced with them. It was a unique experience.
Not to mention that our guide offered us the experience of tasting the fruit of the baobab, it was a gift from him. It was so good.
A first successful experience thanks to our Asad guide and the good work of the Travel team
Africa, I recommend 100 VA.
The food was good and fresh, prepared every day by our Tanzanian chef.
Lodges and aunts are fine.
