          Amazing safari
Our trip with Wakanda was truly unforgettable. From start to finish, every moment was filled with excitement and wonder. Eduardo, our guide, deserves special recognition for his exceptional knowledge and experience. Special thanks also go to our chef, Dullah, whose culinary skills delighted our taste buds with every meal. The combination of Eduardo's guidance and Dullah's delicious food made our week with Wakanda not just enjoyable but truly exceptional. We cannot thank Eduardo and Dullah enough for creating such a memorable experience for us. This trip exceeded all expectations and will remain a cherished memory for years to come. Wakanda has our highest recommendation for anyone seeking an enriching and enjoyable travel experience.

Our experience of safari is unforgettable. Our guide Andrew told us many interesting facts about the animals and the region itself. He always got us to the best place to see the animals. If i went again i would choose the same company and ask for Andrew. We had lots of fun

          A life-changing experience
The safari with Serengeti Wakanda was amazing from start to finish - Beatrice made all the arrangements beforehand, and was always available to answer our questions. When we landed in Seronera, Andrew was there to greet us with a smile and begin our safari - he’s a fantastic person and the best guide! We saw lots of animals during our safari, but Andrew was able to spot them from hundreds of metres away, all while navigating the roads and chatting to us at the same time. Andrew is friendly, polite and has a great sense of humour, and this made our time together even better. He’s also very knowledgeable about Tanzania, the Serengeti and the different wildlife that live there. One of the highlights of the trip was getting to see leopards up close and walking around our truck, as well as seeing lions and a cheetah on an early morning game drive. We also stayed in some amazing lodges, namely Serengeti Sametu, Nyumbani Collection and Ngorongoro Farm House. The accommodations were different but they all provided impeccable service and delicious food. We would recommend Serengeti Wakanda to anyone thinking of booking a safari, and ask for Andrew to be your guide - he really made the experience even better! Asante sana to all!

          Memorable and Fruitful Safari Experience
Memorable and fruitful experience with Bashir as our expert guide and Ashraf as our amazing chef. We were able to spot a rich variety of animals and birds at both Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Bashir is an expert at navigating through the parks and finding animals. Arshad is an excellent chef and kept us well fed through his culinary artistry. Would love to do this once again!

Highly recommended - request for Felix and you will not be disappointed
We decided to go for Serengeti Wakanda Tours and Safaris because Ushma provided us with the best quote for our itinerary. This is our itinerary for the trip: Day 1: Arrival Day 2: Tarangire NP Day 3: Serengeti NP Day 4: Serengeti NP Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Day 6: Waterfall, coffee workshop, hot spring tour Day 7: Departure The trip was amazing and we couldn't recommend the operator, and our guide Felix enough. The highlights of our trips were: Lioness stalking a group of zebras at Serengeti Serval cat during the day at Serengeti Close encounter with two cheetahs at Serengeti Signature Serengeti Luxury Tented Safari Camp - amazing accommodation Lioness successfully hunting a wildebeest at Ngorongoro Black rhinoceros at Ngorongoro (We didn't get to see a leopard though, guess another reason for us to visit again!) Felix was very knowledgeable and always on the look out for animals throughout the whole trip. Also, recommending us to leave quite early for the morning game drive (at Serengeti and Ngorongoro). Those were the days that we get to experience the parks with very little tourists and many animal activities. Must-haves: Telephoto lens (slightly heavy but worth it) Warm clothes (especially for Ngorongoro - we were freezing at 6am when the temperature dropped to 8C!) Eye drops and scarfs (masks) for dusts during the whole game drive Lens wipe - not just for your camera for also glasses/ sunglasses Final tips: Be prepared for the "African massage" - it was relentless. After leaving Arusha there is no paved road until the last day when we got back again. The guide will do everything possible to make the trip more comfortable but just a heads up that it will be quite an adventure. Stay at least 2 nights in Serengeti! We wished we extended our trip to include an extra night - especially when we got to stay at Signature Serengeti Luxury Tented Safari Camp. During dinner we saw a hyena ran across the plains. The location, amenities, meals, accommodation are all on point. We cannot recommend staying here enough. An extra night would also allow for an evening game drive (or extra time to relax) so that you will have more opportunities to see different types of animals. If it was 1 thing we could change about our trip it would be this. Be patient. The only reason we got to have a close encounter with the cheetahs and witnessed a successful hunt was because we waited. Some people gave up as soon as they arrived and didn't see any action. We are in the middle of National Park, not a theme park. Patience is a virtue. Skip Lake Manyara National Park, we were told that the flamingos have not been spotted in this lake for at least 5 years due to water pollution. We made the right choice to spend more time at other parks instead. Pack light. The space on the jeep is limited and the more you pack there more you need to carry and store throughout the whole journey. Finally, have fun and relax when you are at the park. Do not stress over what animals you will see, and when. It is nature so nothing is guaranteed. As our guide Felix always said "You never know what is around the corner". There is so much to see, so many activities happening. Nobody has the exact same experience and that is the beauty of this trip. You will get to have a unique personal experience at one the Africa's best game reserve.

          Super Safari Tour, Super Andrew
Amazing tour experience. The safari tour gave everything I expected plus more. Andrew the tour guide was super knowledgeable, humble, kind and personable. Not only did we get to see amazing views and were able to spot most of the animals that we wanted to see but Andrew also provided expert context and knowledge about these animals and the wildlife ecosystem which added to the overall experience. I would 100% recommend. Worth every penny!

          Absolutely worth it
What an amazing journey!! Communication was excellent in the lead up to our safari trp, but more importantly, the safari trip was amazing. Andrew was our guide, and he was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Honestly the best. I learned so much about Tanzania & wildlife. Would do this again, and would recommend this for anyone who’s considering.

Great Migration, Luxury Safari, 7 Days of Serengeti
One of the best and most memorable trips I have had so far which was planned for me! Special mentions are in order! Let’s start with Aishwarya who was the coordinator and planner for the entire trip! Her expertise in guiding me picking the right zones, being insistant on staying in certain camps shows her deep knowledge of Serengeti!! We witnessed migration from our hotel porch with a glass of wine which was cherry on the cake after already seeing it across the Ghrumeti!! She is so patient and attentive! Not to mention extremely accommodating end moment dietary changes as well and making sure the chefs across our camps served us well! A car full of wine beer and fruits and water at all times everyday!! Blankets and pillows in the car for comfort during game drives was exceptional!! Luxury at its best and worth every penny spent!! Next is our excellent guide Benji on the trip!! He was not only patient with our excited son but kept sharing his knowledge about Serengeti, the tribes on the way!! He knows the savanna very well and his instincts about finding, following and waiting up on the wild is spot on. Thanks to him to seen multiple attempts at kill by tigresses in our safari! Spotted cheetahs and leopards which are super rare apart from the multiple pride of lions! Must mention his excellent photography skills and he would willingly oblige taking great pictures for us while we enjoyed the wild in action and shared the memory card at the end of the trip! Super genuine and always smiling and willing to go the extra mile just so you can enjoy the best!! Big big shout out to the entire team at Wokanda for making it a lifetime experience we will cherish forever! The great migration with the greatest team!! Highly recommend!! Trust them!

          Enchanting Safari Experience
Serengeti Wakanda is your one stop place for everything in Tanzania. They are experts in their field and possess immense knowledge on how to plan the safaris , booking of luxury tents and meticulously planning meals for each day. Our entire experience was smooth from booking to game drives to internal flights thanks to Aishwarya. She is extremely patient and responds to every query/ questions and umpteenth number of phone calls with ease. Their Safari car was also extremely comfortable with cold beverages were provided. I have no words to to describe our Guide Mandela. He was a true gem of Serengeti. He had tremendous knowledge of every Animal and almost know entire Savanna. Definitely recommend them for everyone who plans a visit to Tanzania ne Zanzibar!!!

Nothing will ever compare to this experience of a lifetime!
This was absolutely the most incredible experience of our lifetime. I did a bit of research into the right company and safari. I never thought I would be able to do this as a single mom on moderate income, but anyone can make this happen! Don't let the word budget lead you to believe you are making any sacrifices. would not change a thing and so believe the authentic camping experience enhanced the experience sleeping up close and personal in the Serengeti with animals around us and the sounds of birds and various wildlife ever present. First of all, I planned about 1.5 years ahead and was able to communicate easily with Bartho who answered every silly question in a timely manner. I feel so fortunate to have shared the 7 day/6 night trip with our experienced and knowledgeable guide Felix and hidden gem of a gourmet cook Doulah. We instantly felt like they were long lost family and were so comfortable with them. We were with them practically 24/7 for a week and it was perfect. We felt so safe and confident with Felix, he has 10 years' experience and truly understands animal behavior. There were a couple of super close moments , which would have been too close for comfort had it not been for my total confidence in Felix abilities to understand animal behavior. We felt that his total purpose was to ensure the best experience for us to see the most animals possible and capture the best photos and let us determine how much or little time we spent with each encounter. He knew the area so well that we were frequently able to observe animals practically alone for as long as possible. I think there were only two times we encountered a large group of other cars. Overall, it was as if we had park to practically to ourselves. Doulah was such an accomplished chef and we could not believe the meals we received. We had people approach us at picnic sites asking about our company and how we were able to get so lucky to have such an impressive meal when they had Dinner was an easy 3 course meal and we had fresh bread and soup every dinner. It was emotional saying good-bye and he prepared us a special last meal that he personalized for us Americans , even making a special cake commemorating my sons acceptance to University. We modified trip to include Arusha National Park. This was a substancial additional fee but it was the only park that allows a walking safari . The park provides an armed ranger and it lasted about 1.5 hours. We got up close to warthogs, giraffe and Cape Buffalo. It provided a unique perspective out of the car. We did get to see Black and White Colobus monkeys, but, we did see a lot more when we went on a separate Kilimanjaro day hike. The Mataruni Waterfalls and coffee plantation tour was so much better than I expected! We had a new guide, Ben, who was also super nice and knowledgeable. We had the best views of Kilimanjaro and he was happy to stop along the way for photos. My son found him really relatable and he made the 2 hour drive there from Arusha pleasant. This excursion provided a cultural opportunity as this coffee "plantation" was a local village in the mountain run by a small community. We were able to participate in creating coffee from beginning to end and enjoyed traditional song..The one disappointment was the "hot spring" portion as it was an additional 1.5 treacherous road trip to what was more like a community swimming hole. We arrived, but upon trying to enter decided against it as it was super crowded and loud. I can not imagine any other company allowing for a better experience. I am so happy with this trip and I feel that this will be the best memory of my life. It completely exceeded any dream I had created about seeing animals in the wild in Africa! I had no idea the other parks existed, and we were able to experience animals in the forest, savannah and in the mountains! Our guide and cook just took the trip to a different level and recommend them 1000% percent. Jambo

Absolutely exceeded any expectations of a dream safari..lifetime memory created!!
I do not even know where to was a dream of mine to go on an African safari. We love every animal that exists and have travelled the US National Parks but Africa was the bucket list trip. I thought it would be near impossible considering my modest income as a single mom. I did research and was surprised to see this type of "budget" trip existed. That word is misleading because I feel we had the most exciting experience ever. I went with my teenage son upon his graduation from High School. I started planning about a year and a half ahead. I communicated frequently via Whatsapp with the company representative Bartho. He explained everything and responded to all my questions in a timely manner. I can not explain how much our guide Felix and cook Doula enhanced the experience. I truly believe that our guide allowed us to have the best experience possible. It was a perfect match. Imagine being with a stranger 24/7..all day and through all meals ..we felt like he was family instantly. His experience was noted immediately and witnessing his knowledge in animal behavior provided us both with such a sense of safety and confidence that we would get the best views and photos possible. He was able to provide us a private tour that for the majority of time allowed us private animal viewing with very few other cars around. In our 7 day safari.. I can think of only 2 instances of multiple cars at one site. He allowed us as much time to watch the animals and allowed us to skip or move on as desired. Our cook , Doula, is a hidden gem. In addition to his adorable and kind personality..his food was gourmet!. Our lunches that were prepared for our safaris was 2-3 courses and dinner always 3 courses. Fresh bread, fruit, local hot dishes, deserts..insanely delicous and bountiful. We had people from other companies approach us at picnic sites to inquire about the meals as they watched us dine on exquisite food while they were eating The camping experience was an extra plus, our site in the Serengeti was shared with a troop of mongoose, surrounded by antelope and Zebra and sounds of birds and hyena at night. The Ngorongoro Crater site had animals and was in a beautiful mountaintop location, albeit hundreds of other campers. There are bathrooms and showers available and surprisingly at night it was very quiet. We chose not to attempt the showers due to the vast number of people but we were prepared with wipes etc.. We went to multiple National parks that I had never heard of. Beginning from the first day at Tarangire, I thought it could not get any better than this..each day was a new and different experience..when you think you have seen enough see more in new situations..on rocks, in trees, with their cubs, mating. Just non-stop new experiences. We saw everything close was like living the Lion all sorts of environments, Savannah, forest, mountainous and Desert like habitat. We added the hot air balloon ride which I highly recommend. It allows a different perspective and to experience the sunrise on the Serengeti from the air was breathtaking! Also, we modified trip to include Arusha National Park for a substantial additional fee, but it is the only place you can go on a walking safari (with an armed park ranger) For a little over an hour we walked and saw wart hogs, giraffe and Cape Buffalo at a close distance. Black and White Colobus monkeys are there, but honestly..if you are doing a Kilimanjaro day hike or more, we saw tons there. Our trip to Mataruni Falls and coffee plantaton were an outstanding way to end our trip. We had guide, Ben, that day who was again a kind, fun and knowledgeable guide. My son related to him as he was a younger guide. He made our trip extra fun as it was a 2 hour drive from Arusha. We had the best views of Kilimanjaro on that trip and he was more than happy to stop. We did not enjoy the hot springs as it was a treacherous road trip to get there ( and we had spent 6 days in the bush on some rough roads) and when we got there it was more like a community swimming hole nd we chose not to even go in..I know others have had a better experience.. I already have 2 friends that are planning on doing my trip...I can not imagine having a better experience with any other company and 1000% recommend the dynamic duo of Felix and Doula! I regret not having learned Swahili before trip, I had so much time and it seems a relatively easier language to learn the basics at minimum.. Jambo

My partner and I had the most amazing 5 day safari with Wakanda Tours, and we would definitely recommend them in all aspects.

Before booking Bartho helped us via WhatsApp to find the right tour for our needs and help us with some general concerns concerning transfer times and other accommodation.

A few days before safari Bartho suggested we skipped a day in lake Manyara and replace it with an extra day in Serengeti due to animal migration. This was great since all other travellers we encountered told us they had spend a very uneventful day in Lake Manyara and we had the most amazing time in Serengeti.

The absolute highlight of our tour was of course the safari itself and our fantastic guide Felix and chef Dullah.

Felix is extremely kind and he has 10+ years of experience and not only does he know everything about the animals, birds and trees, but he also truly understand the animals. Therefor we spend the majority of our time with the radio off, which gave a completely different sense of exploration and resulted in a lot of truly unique animal sightings, which you will not encounter if your guide is just chasing radio announced sightings, meaning that you will spend most of your time in a caravan of cars.

Felix is also very respectful of the animals, he will keep appropriate distance depending on the situation (you’ll still get plenty close), this both keeps the animals mentally happy but it also makes sure they don’t run away.
We sadly saw a lot of other operators speeding up to animals and braking hard.

I also got the impression that we spend more time being on safari than the others in our camp. We usually left before sunrise and came back around sunset.

Throughout the trip Dullah supplied us with the most amazing tasty food. His Dullah magic box bread is some of the best bread I ever had.
Usually we had a large breakfast after an early morning sunrise safari, then we would pick up lunch and bring with us and when we would come back in the evening he would wait for us with a great dinner and dessert.

In fact some of the very best food we had during our 18 days Tanzania trip Dulllah cooked up in the middle of Serengeti plains.

After months of careful research for the best Safari tour operator in Tanzania, we chose to rely on the Serengeti Wakanda Safari company which in the end turned out to be an exceptional choice for the unforgettable experience and the extraordinary service it gave us. Bartho the owner is a very nice and knowledgeable person with years of experience. Bartho organized everything and made sure that our whole group had breakfast, lunch and dinner prepared by the Chef Dula, who delighted us with local and international dishes accompanied on request by beer or wine of our choice. The 5 day tour included Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro National parks. Among giraffes, zebras, elephants and thousand of Wildbeasts, we were lucky enough to see at least 3 groups of lions up close and one day early in the morning we even got to see a male lion hunting a topi from the beginning to the end, which is considered very rare to see, as well as a beautiful leopard in a tree and also a cheetah. All this was possible thanks to Andrew our fantastic driver and guide, who with his experience allowed us to see these beautiful felines that are usually difficult to find and see up close. I would also like to mention the dessert that Andrew had Dula prepare to my wife as a birthday surprise, after I mentioned it to him just an hour before dinner. I seriously recommend everyone to contact this company if you want to get the most out of a Safari and ask for Andrew as a guide. To close I would like to thank Bartho again for the dream come true that he gave us, we will certainly treasure the memories for years to come. Asante Sana!

For most of us, the adventure of a wild safari in Africa is something we can only expect to experience once in a lifetime. With so much expectation and desire riding on such a trip, it's little wonder that choosing a tour company can frustratingly difficult. Wakanda safaris lived up to all our expectations and then some, facilitating an experience neither I or my friends will ever forget.

The outstanding organisation, communication, local knowledge, and general amiability of everyone involved all contributed towards our adventure in Tanzania's national parks. We visited the Serengeti, Ngoro Ngoro, Lake Manyara, and Tarangire. We saw lions, hippos, elephants, leopards, cheetahs, rhinos (at a distance!), giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, baboons, and a plethora of other species that I either can't remember, or don't know the name of! Aside from the national parks and animals, we enjoyed countless authentic cultural experiences at the various towns and villages along the way.

Our five day/four night safari included two nights in a hotel and two nights camping. The hotel was very comfortable and had all the necessary amenities. When camping, everything was taken care of, so all we had to do was enjoy a couple of drinks while discussing the sights of the day and enjoy the night sky full of stars. The chef/cook that traveled with us put together an impressive feast for us each night; the source of envy for tours staying at the same campsites. Our guide, Melisa and our chef, Dula, were at the same time both professional and incredibly fun. In most national parks, we'd regularly hear the crackle of the CB radio, with others asking Melisa where the animals were!

It goes without saying that I would recommend this safari, and have already done so with many of my friends and colleagues. I'm not exactly sure how Wakanda Safaris compares in terms of price at the time that you're reading this, but I will say that, for such a once in a lifetime experience, it's worth choosing a tour company that obviously has a passion for what they do, such as Wakanda.

We went on a 5 day safari (Tarangire, Serengeti (2 days), Ngorongoro) with Serengeti Wakanda Tours and had the best trip we could have asked for. Communication, organization, service, and the team itself were excellent.

Bharti (one of the co-founders) handled all the communication previous to our travels. Bharti speaks excellent English and is a genuinely nice and honest person that helps you with all kind of questions before, during and after the trip. The organization of the transportation and safari were seamless and always on time.

If you book with Wakanda, ask for Andrew as your guide and Suleiman as your chef. Andrew speaks good English (he's also fluent in French) and knows everything about the parks and their inhabitants. Furthermore, he's an excellent driver (a skill that one shouldnt underestimate) and has eagle-eyes, which helped us spotting the following animals: Three groups of Lions, incl. cubs from less than 2 meters, leopards, cheetahs, servals, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, zebras, elephants, wilder beasts, monkeys etc.

Suleyman is equally cheerful and somehow manages to cook excellent food despite cooking on rather poorly equipped campsites on a nightly basis. As an extra he's also knows many things about the parks and animals and is happy to share his knowledge with you.

All in all, I can strongly recommend you to book with Wakanda. Other than many other providers, Barthi is not pushy and gives you all the time you need to make your decision. Wakanda also doesnt sell its customers to other operators in cases they do not manage to get a full group of six people.

We had a great Safari with Wakanda, we booked the 5 day budget tour to Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro and we saw more animals than we possibly hoped for or expected, including three rhino! And the landscapes were so beautiful. We are so happy with our experience.

The organisation by the manager Bartho was so great, he personally responded via WhatsApp quickly and friendly and made booking the safari so easy! We felt like we were in great hands. He also came to personally meet us when we arrived in Arusha to brief us.

All the accommodation was clean and comfortable during our safari with very friendly staff. We had three days in budget lodges and one day camping.

The Safari vehicle was spacious, well maintained and comfortable which was important for long rides.

The food from our cook Solomon was excellent. We ate so well and enjoyed all of our meals. They were really delicious and Solomon was very friendly and happy every day! We enjoyed talking with him a lot.

Our guide Moses is a very friendly and sweet guy. He was so great at spotting animals and getting us to the best spots to watch and take pictures which was great! he also stopped anytime we asked and stayed later if we saw something interesting. He respected the park rules at all times which we really liked as we saw some other guides driving off road/ speeding and disturbing the animals but he was very respectful. He answered all of our questions about the animals when we asked. He maybe could have provided a little more information about the animals and landscapes along the way but we saw so many great things that we didn’t mind.

We would recommend Wakanda for a Tanzanian safari!

        Thank you!

We had the most incredible experience on our 5 day safari with Serengeti wakanda. Bartho was very helpful and quick to reply to all of my emails beforehand. When our flight landed over an hour early we called to let him know and he immediately came to pick us up and then was nice enough to drive us to dinner that night as well. Maliaki (not sure on the spelling) was our safari guide and we were very impressed with his knowledge, he seemed to know everything about the animals we saw. He was also very patient with us, as this was our first safari and we constantly wanted to stop to take pictures, and he went out of his way to find great animal sightings for us. Dullah was our chef and cooked us amazing meals each day, I was so impressed with the quality of his food. After our safari, Bartho was nice enough to take us out to dinner again and to print out our Kenya evisas for us. I cannot recommend this company enough, not only was the quality of the safari excellent but everyone who worked for Serengeti wakanda was so kind to us and really seemed to care about giving us the best experience possible! Our 5 day safari was the start to a month long trip through East Africa for me and was easily one of the highlights!

The best Safari tour in Tanzania! We were due to start our tour on Tuesday morning but had arrived on Monday morning without our luggage. We had done a separate tour of Arusha on Monday when Bartho came to give us a detailed plan of the tour on Monday evening. When we told him the airline had lost our luggage he called some people at the airport to ensure our luggage was going to be found and smoothed over the logistics for us. Very comforting considering the people we dealt with at the airport were less than helpful at the time!

Tuesday morning we were up bright and early and made our way to Tarangire National park with our driver Chedi and cook Sule. Both were such fun to talk to and Chedi was especially knowledgable about all the animals that we came across. On our way back from Tarangire to the hotel we stopped off at a gas station to see another car pull up with our luggage! Bartho had managed to sort out the logistics of getting it to us and that really helped us ensure we had a great holiday.

Wednesday we drove to Serengeti National Park and stayed there until Thursday afternoon. During the time in Serengeti, our driver Chedi made the most of his network to get insights to where the best things were happening in the park. We managed to see almost everything you could wish to see on safari. We saw cheetahs feeding on a kill, lionesses with their cubs doing the same. A leopard in a tree with a dead antelope among many other things!

Thursday afternoon came and we then made our way to Ngorongoro National Park. On the way to Ngorongoro we had expressed an interest in visiting a Masai camp. Chedi was all too accommodating and ensured we went to one on the way! Although the Masai camp was not really for me in the end it was great to experience it.

Overall we had the best time with Wakanda safari tours. Chedi was an amazingly knowledgeable, experienced driver who really listened to what each of us in the car wanted to get out of the day and tried tirelessly to make that happen for us. A special shout-out to Sule, our cook, for all the fantastic meals he provided us with during the tour. Bartho is running a great service with Wakanda Safari tours and you will not regret giving these guys your hard earned money. We had the best time and will certainly be coming back to book another tour with them in the future.

I’ve been dreaming of going on a safari forever and this trip exceeded my expectations! Went on a 5 day safari to 4 parks, so was able to see all that the region has to offer. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the animals and their whereabouts so we saw the big 5 and others in abundance. We had a cook with us who was very talented and the fresh meals were very large and much more appealing than the box lunches other groups had. Relaxing with a few beers around the campfire after a long day in the car was also very fun and unique to this tour. Bartho was very responsive and accommodating, which made this last minute trip for me possible. Being picked up from the airport and having lodging included before and after the trip was very convenient. Overall this trip was fantastic and I’m very glad I booked with Serengeti Wakanda!

It’s a serious company. Almost everything worked as planned. The owner, Bartho, replies very quickly, showing they are trustful. The guide, Mike, was very nice. He even managed very well when one of the clients asked for something the guy that booked the tour for her had promised. The cooker was fantastic also. I wasn't expecting much of the food on the road, but had some delicious dinners, better than others i had in restaurants. That said, remember that a budget safari does not have any luxury, even the most common ones. The lodge we stay in is very basic, with no AC. The structure on camping sites are very disappointing. One of the campings does not have hot water in the shower. The other one has just 2 or 3 showers and then there is a long line to use them. And the toilet is indian style.
A small thing they could improve is that they have beer and wine on the road, but the beer is hot, so it is hard to drink. And during the dinner in the lodge, the beer is not included as advertised, we had to pay for it. But i definitely recommend this company!

Hello Rafael, Thank you for the honest feedback about your safari and we’re glad at the end you still enjoyed your trip! First of all I would like to explain about the campsites on safari which are owned and controlled by the government of Tanzania. We wish we had the authority to improve the bathroom facilities but that remains to be their work, however they have started working on the roads in the parks and hopefully they will improve the facilities on the campsites too. Coming to the hot beers, all our cars are equipped with refrigerators, so maybe the beers weren’t chilly enough as they were just put not a while ago and the car refrigerator has less voltage so it takes a bit of time for the beer to be chilled. And lastly, I would like to deeply apologise for the 2 beers you had to pay in the budget lodge (beer and wine are always included in all our safaris as described in the itinerary, that’s why for the rest of your trip you still had beer and wine from us). There was some misinformation between the new staff and the manager of the lodge, however we still take the full blame and promise to keep everything in order next time. Once again thank you for choosing WAKANDA and we hope to see you again! With kind regards, Bartho Fissoo General Manager

I went on a 5 day Serengeti camping safari during the last week of January 2022. It took me a while to pick a Safari company but finally settled on Serengeti Wakanda. They had good reviews and I figured the value was great compared to the other Safaris I had been seeing so I thought to myself, Eh, What the hell. Why Not. I reached out to Wakanda and was instantly impressed. First off, Let's talk about the owner; Bartho. He reached out to me personally and answered any and all question I shot his way, and there were quite a few. He is an awesome guy, professional, fun, polite. Overall. 5 Star dude. He even took it upon himself to set up a meeting with me after my Safari had concluded as he wanted to meet me personally, I'm not sure if that's because I was special or because he takes it upon himself to meet everyone his company takes out. Either way, it was great.

If I could describe my entire experience out on my Safari in one word, it would be Perfect. I must say however, that most of the reasons it was perfect was because of variables that would be different for everyone who goes out. The luck we had with the animals, the group of people I was randomly put with on my Safari, The driver and cook we got randomly paired with, the fact I was lucky enough to have my itinerary modified for an extra day on the Serengeti, the weather, and many other facts that all came together to make the Experience perfect. These are all variables that differ from time to time, The one constant that I can identify that helped make the trip as good as it was, is the company itself: Serengeti Wakanda. When I was out on the Safari, we spoke with a few other Safaris we ended up camping alongside. Every single time I spoke with other people I kinda looked away and the end of the conversation thanking the gods I randomly selected Wakanda. Some other companies cram more people than are comfortable in the vehicles, some companies have more roguish Safari behavior, other companies have a lot of up charges they don't mention, other companies don't get home cooked freshly made meals cooked by a personal safari chef 3 times a day, (they get small meal boxes) the list goes on and on of stories and things about issues other companies have that Wakanda just didn't. I got supremely lucky on my trip, but I owe most of it to Wakanda for allowing the luck to come to fruition. I would recommend this company to everyone and anyone looking to take a Safari. Bartho very heavily sticks to the Quality over Quantity formula and I hope to the gods that as his company inevitably continues to grow in both size and success, that he maintains that mentality
