          An amazing adventure in Tanzania
This was my first Safari and I enjoyed is so much with my family. Safari Soles were flexible enough to include a day at the foothills of Kilimanjaro after the 5 day tour at reasonable cost. Accommodation was really good in the Serengeti and in Arusha as we moved through the Safari. Safari Soles provided an excellent guide in Innocent. Very humble yet so knowledgeable and good with locating the animals. Innocent went out of his way to locate the carnivores including leopard 🐆 and even a caracal to my brother's excitement. Highly recommend Safari Soles!

          Trip of a lifetime
Absolutely unbelievable experience! Could not believe how many animals we saw. Perfectly planned by Innocent who was always ready to help and our guide Emanuel was honestly amazing. Would give this more stars if I could!

Wonderful guide, wonderful day with Chugga tribe.
Our guide was very knowledgeable, spoke very good English and was patient with us even though we were somewhat slow. We went "pawley pawley" with a wonderful guide. Thank you for the experience.

Amazing 6-Day Tour through northern TZ
We had an amazing time right from booking with Douglas who was very helpful with timely communication and great flexibility to suit our schedule. Our guide Innocent was outstanding. Very knowledgeable about Serengeti, Ngorongoro n Tarangire parks. Innocent was very engaging and proactive throughout. Imagine him locating the elusive leopard on the very first day! My kids loved the experience and were sad to bid Innocent bye. Highly recommend the Serengeti-Ngorongoro-Tarangire tour with SafariSoles.

The best safari with the best guide
We loved our private safari arranged by Safari Soles. Our guide Cheddy was incredible, he explained a lot about animals behaviour and went to the best spots for us to see lots of different animals! We were so happy that we booked with them. The accomodations and the whole safari planning were perfect, we spent the best nights inside the parks! We highly reccomend Safari Soles and Cheddy

          8-day Safari+
We just completed our custom private safari with Safari Soles and loved it! Magreth in sales was very patient and helpful in developing our itinerary. Everything went as promised from the time we were picked up at the airport to the time we were dropped off. Our guide, Ernest, was very knowledgeable and patient with all of our questions about the culture, parks, and animals. We never expected to see as much as we did!

The Materuni waterfall, coffee experience, and chemka hot springs were all well worth it. Very good value for the experience. My guide Frank was a pleasure! He was very nice and accommodating to all my wants and needs.

Ngorongoro crater 1 day tour 🙌🏽
One of the best days ever! Japhet was such an amazing tour guide, he was very informative, patient and friendly and guided us around the Ngorongoro crater spotting animals along the way. We was so delighted to see multiple lions, hippos, rhinos, many birds and much more in just one day! I would highly recommend 😊😊

Thank you to Frank for making our day so special. We had the most amazing day visiting in the waterfall and coffee plantation and hot springs. The entire experience from start to finish was thoroughly enjoyable. Frank as a tour guide is brilliant, he is very friendly, informative and patient which made the day so good for everyone. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone thinking to do it!

          Great animals and service.
This trip was definitely worth the long journey! My family and I got to see and learn a lot about multiple different animals thanks to our guide Estomih. There is great service and every place you stay is very nice. Going on this trip definitely made me want to go back again to see the other parts of the migration.

          Once-in-a-lifetime experience
Were in the park from 9h to 15h. Had the best guide you can wish for. Innocent speaks perfect English (besides Swahili and Chagga) and knows literally everything about the flora & fauna in the park, as well as the history of the region. Picnic lunch with local home-cooked food which we picked up on our way from Arusha to Tarangire (2h30 jeep ride!) Had lunch surrounded by vervet monkeys who are in no way aggressive but very mischievous (they like stealing bananas). Giraffes, elephants, the sweet dwarf mungoose who live on top of termite hills, waterbucks, warthogs, zebras (outside the park), the superb starling, ostriches, guinea fowl, white-faced whistling duck, blue monkey, baboons AND we were so lucky to see lions (twice!) Unforgettable experience! A special thank you to our friendly and very patient guide Innocent who afterwards helped us find a great place to buy Maasai art. Would repeat it anytime!

The waterfall was stunning, the coffee tour was very interesting, and spending time at the hot springs was so relaxing. Couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide - Balthazar was super friendly, informative, and fun!

Transformative ! I couple times I had to pinch myself to realize this is real ! The experience exceeded my expectations
This experience was breath taking and transformative. From the beginning - zipper pick up to drop off to our hotel ! Our guide Saïd took such good care of us ! He was so well rounded and answered all the questions we had ! He knew so many fun facts about all the animals which helped learn a lot . In addition our operator Filbert was so Patient and helpful with everything and anything we needed to make this experience smooth and enjoyable . We needed help figuring out how to get there and we went above and beyond to help with flights and accommodations in Arusha ! We can never thank him enough and his team’, without them this would not have been possible and so beautiful! I recommend this booking to everyone ! Only thing to know is that flights to Arusha or killimnjaro is not included. I thought this was not explicit enough on the trip advisor website for first timers :) Overall 10/10 experience !

Beautiful falls, coffee farm, and hot springs
We had the BEST time on this tour! We did this after a safari and it was so peaceful and fun to walk through a path with a different climate than we saw the previous days. The waterfall was gorgeous. The coffee farm tour was so unique and the staff did a great job of immersing us into every step of the process. Their energy, dancing, and singing was the highlight of this tour! The hot springs were so beautiful, shady, and fun to swim through the connecting areas. Our guide, Baltazary, was so knowledgeable and gave us plenty of new information from the various trees and fruit to the culture and history of Tanzania. Highly recommend him as your guide! He was very fun and accommodating.

We began with a night at a lodge in Arusha where our Safari Soles guide, the wonderful Balthazar, asked a shop that had closed to reopen just for us so we could buy clothes for our safari as Qatar airways had lost our luggage! After dinner and a night in a lovely room at the Arusha Planet lodge, we flew in a small plane right into the Serengeti. There we met with Raymond, our lovely, kind and knowledgable guide, who took us on our game drives in a very comfortable Land Cruiser. We did game drives in the Serengeti, Ngorongoro crater and Tarangire and stayed at beautiful mid-range lodges with comfy beds and more fantastic food. Our luggage finally turned up at our lodge on the crater rim, having been tracked down by Bryson, Safari Soles incredibly helpful Director who is on a mission to ensure every Safari Soles customer has a brilliant time. Everywhere we went, people were smiling or singing or wanting to help us. We had early starts every day for our game drives and usually a delicious picnic lunch somewhere with incredible views. Every day we saw many, many animals including lions and cubs, elephant, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, hippos, giraffe, hyena, and the rare black rhino. These beautiful animals in their beautiful natural habitats are breathtaking. We also did a memorable balloon safari in Tarangire which included a sumptuous outdoor breakfast afterwards with the most spectacular view. Raymond was such a fun guide and host, and he took great care of us every step of the way, as well as telling us fascinating facts about the wildlife. He also took us to a Masai village, where we learnt about the traditions of the Masai people, we joined them in a dance and gave a donation to their village (which they use to send their children away to school). The accommodation and food was excellent everywhere, and the cleanliness of the rest rooms everywhere - including in the parks, was excellent. I wholeheartedly recommend Safari Soles, they made everything easy and their care of every detail is incredible. We had asked for one of their standard trips to be tailored to add the fly-in, which we enjoyed, and Safari Soles are only too happy to tailor any of their trips to exactly meet your needs and their prices are very good compared to others for the same trip. I also really like the fact that the company is Tanzanian and based in Arusha, so our money goes to Tanzanians not foreign owners. This was best experience I have ever had with any tour operator of any kind.

We had a fantastic trip with Safari Soles. We had a 12 day / 11 night trip that included a 4 day Meru trek and 6 days in the Northern Serengeti, Central Serengeti, and Ngorongoro crater.

Sanke, our mountain guide, and Estomih, our safari guide were top notch. Estomih knew the parks and animals like back of his hand, we had such an incredible time learning from him. He is so knowledgeable and so kind. We saw all animals several times (more lions than we could count!), but we were never bored because we got to observe different behaviors and groups. We were especially blown away by the density of animals in the Northern Serengeti and river crossings. We were amazed by the birds of East Africa, and Estomih knew every species and pointed them out when he learned we were interested.

We highly recommend our guides and we highly recommend Safari Soles, a Tanzanian company. Renata, our trip manager, was also fantastic. She planned every detail and answered every question, working with us to create a trip of our dreams. We chose mostly mid-range accommodations, they will help match your budget and preferences. We cannot imagine the trip being better.

Our group of four had an unforgettable experience with Safari Soles Tours for a 9-day safari trip exploring the northern circuit, including a day hike to Mount Kilimanjaro as well. We visited Tarangire National Park, Ndutu Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara National Park. We watched all big five and plenty of other animals and birds. Before the trip, I had very effective and smooth communication with the owner Bryson when planning our trip. He always answered my questions very quickly and patiently. Safari Soles is a local travel agency and their pricing is very reasonable compared to other travel agencies, especially international travel agencies. Our safari guide and driver Benjamin is simply gorgeous and amazing! He worked very hard everyday and made our trip such a wonderful experience! The guide William for our one-day Kilimanjaro hike is amazing too! Thank you guys and you are the best!

I went on a safari in September, and it was an experience I'll never forget. Our guide, Estomih, was outstanding in every way. His knowledge of the local wildlife and flora is impressive, and he helped us discover not only the "Big Five" but also an incredible amount of details and curiosities that made the tour even more special.

Estomih showed great passion for his work and genuine care for the well-being of the animals, which I deeply appreciated. He took great care of all our needs and desires, always going above and beyond to ensure our experience was perfect. During meals, he was especially attentive—he made sure we sanitized our hands, asked what we preferred to eat, and paid close attention to every detail to make us feel comfortable.

The safari itself was breathtaking. We explored a part of the city of Arusha, the stunning Lake Manyara, the iconic Serengeti National Park, and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with its magnificent crater. I personally found the Ngorongoro Crater to be a paradise, with its perfect climate and the incredible diversity of wildlife it hosts. Every location was more awe-inspiring than the last, each offering its own unique beauty and charm.

He always maintained a perfect balance between adventure and safety, making us feel at ease at all times. Every day was full of surprises: breathtaking sunrises, close encounters with animals, and the unique atmosphere of the savannah.

If you’re looking for an authentic, well-organized safari with a guide who truly loves what he does, I can’t recommend Estomih and enough.

It was an unforgettable journey, and I can’t wait to return!

There are truly not enough wonderful things we could say about this company and our wonderful guide ‘Innocent’, to properly convey how great they have been. Safari Soles went above and beyond to make our honeymoon and trip a memorable one, they were professional, kind and extremely generous with their time and resources (going as far as upgrading our final accommodation free of charge because the hotel we had picked had gotten some poor feedback lately). If you do end up going with Safari Soles then I encourage you to ask for Innocent as your guide. Innocent was with us for 5 days and was beyond attentive, knowledgeable, professional and caring towards us. Innocent made sure we saw all our favourite animals and even got us to see all 5 of the big five! His attention to detail & our surroundings was unmatched and led to us feeling extra safe for the duration of our Safari, we can not thank him enough for the opportunities he provided us with. Our transfer driver from the airport to the hotel, Chief was also amazing. He was friendly & knowledgeable- he made our introduction to Tanzania a beautiful one! A big Thank you to Innocent, Chief & the whole Safari Soles team- you should be very proud of the service you provide your clients with!

I would definitely recommend Safari soles, Bryson was great to deal with he was always quick to reply and willing to adjust the itinerary for us. He also arranged a last minute cultural tour of Arusha which was great, and I would definitely recommend adding this in the day before you head out on safari. Simon was our safari guide, his nickname was safari monster and he lived up to it! He was on the radio talking to the other guides to find the wildlife and knows the Serengeti like the back of his hand! We met another couple on one of the days in the Serengeti and they mentioned that their guides radio was broken and he was newer to the Serengeti and that they hadnt seen much wildlife, so the guide is everything! The wildlife was incredible we saw all the big 5 (Rhino at a distance) but everything else up close including a pair cheetahs. The accommodation out on safari was great, the lodges were spacious and every day we had a picnic lunch made by the chefs at the lodged together at a rest area, others had 'packed lunches' which didn't seem that great so Safari Soles definable had the best idea. The jeep if fully kitted out with universal plugs for charging and a mini fridge with drinks. Everything was very well thought out. The foothill hike with Eli was great and this included a coffee tour which was really fun and the hot springs were nice to relax in after the safari. Although i would say that they were more like warm springs but still very nice. The staff were always keen help and the people were really happy and Chief our driver for the transfers was fantastic and such a great person to meet when we first arrived. Overall it was great and I would definitely recommend.

Our family just returned from an incredible 7-day Great Migration safari in Tanzania, and Estomih made it unforgettable! His knowledge of wildlife and plants was remarkable, and he shared it with such passion that we were captivated by the animals around us. From the start, his positive energy, attentiveness, and constant smile made the trip a perfect 11/10.

What stood out was Estomih’s deep connections with other guides, ensuring we were always in the right place at the right time. Thanks to him, we saw all of the Big Five, including two leopards and rhinos, and the breathtaking Great Migration of wildebeest.

Mealtimes were a joy with Estomih, and he even arranged a special birthday surprise for my father. As a vegan, I appreciated how attentive he was to my dietary needs, making sure I had delicious meals throughout. His attention to detail was impressive—keeping the jeep spotless and going the extra mile to find the animals we wanted to see. He speaks excellent English, and everyone in the parks seemed to know him. He even introduced us to unique experiences like trying red bananas on our way to the northern Serengeti.

Along with the Big Five, we witnessed jaw-dropping landscapes, sunsets, and thrilling moments like a cheetah feasting on its prey and hyenas outsmarting two lions. Every day was filled with excitement, and Estomih made each moment special.

If you're planning a Tanzanian safari, I can't recommend Estomih enough. His passion, kindness, and expertise made our trip extraordinary, and he became part of our family. We can't wait to come back!

We would highly recommend Safari Soles. They were great to deal with, Bryson responded to all my emails and messages quickly and the experience lived up to the description and exceeded our expectations. Our guide, Jonathan, was excellent, his spotting skills were unbelievable and he got us to see everything we had wanted to, as well as being knowledgeable and informative. Accommodation was excellent, watch out for the hyenas on the way back to your room!

We had a wonderful time on our Safari Soles 7 day experience. The first day is just an arrival day, tour of Arusha, and optional coffee tour which we did. The coffee tour was nice to see the coffee farm and the process.

The next 6 days are actual safari days. We visited Tarangire, Northern Serengeti, Central Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater. The animal sightings are amazing. There is a lot of driving involved especially driving up to the Northern Serengeti, but you do stop to explore and game drive along the way. Our guide John was very knowledgable about the animals. The responsiveness of the Safari Soles team via email was incredible, quick, and they were able to book us wonderful lodging. Also we booked the hot air balloon morning safari one day -- absolutely HIGHLY recommend, it was incredible and breathtaking. The balloon guide had over 30 years experience and it is a whole different perspective and experience to see the Serengeti from above. We also saw the great migration, and wow what an event to witness! And over the course of the trip, we were able to see the big 5! We were happy with the experience, the parks and animals were so awesome.

We had a fantastic safari set up by Raphael! Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. Chief picked us at the airport and toured us around Arusha. We headed out on a 7 day safari with Issac. A Massi guided us on a walk to waterfalls and Natron Lake. He answered many questions about his tribe.

All our accommodations were clean and very comfortable. By the crater, where it was cold, a water bottle was put in our beds while we were at dinner.
FYI, There was usually a tip box at each of the places we stayed which gets distributed to all staff. We didn't know about this until part way through and had been tipping individuals. The food was delicious both at our accommodation and at lunch. We enjoyed wine with our lunch and beer, water, and pop on the dusty road.

We were blown away by the variety of animals. Issac was very skilled at finding animals and moving the truck so that we could see them better. He was very knowledgable about each of them and answered our questions easily. Although there were highlights in each park, we enjoyed the northern Serengeti most. The parks closer to Arusha were busier with tourists and traffic.

After our trip to Zanzibar we contacted Raphael to organize a one day trip to the foothills of Kilimanjaro before we flew out. We had a fabulous day with Andrew walking to waterfalls, learning about and making coffee, then swimming in hot springs.

Safari soles exceeded our expectations! We were very well taken care of.
We would definitely recommend them to others.
