The Moonlight-Safari-Company made our safari 8 day-experience (to Tarangire Nationalpark, Ngorongoro-Crater, Serengeti-Nationalpark, Lake Manyara and Arusha) really special and amazing. We would recommend a doing a walking safari through Tarangire Nationalpark. It was unbelievable to see the Big Five and many other animals being this close to us. We saw giraffes in the light of sunrise, saw a group of lions having breakfast from 3 meters apart and felt save the whole time. Our guide, Calvin was really calm, passionate and brave. The chief, Freddy, made sure to meet our interests to make the most of our trip and showed us what Arusha has to offer too. We went to the local market and tried African candy and went to a local restaurant for lunch to get to know African food. He even made it possible for us to see a hospital because that was our wish as medical professionals. It was unbelievable. We would definitely recommend a tour with this company! Asante sana!

Because of the Moonlight-Safari Company we had the wonderful experience of seeing the Big Five and so many other different animals, learnt about them and had the chance to observe them closely. We had many eye-to-eye contacts with different animals, great lodges and felt comfortable with our guide, Calvin. The chief of the company, Freddy, threw me a birthday party with songs, a cake with candles, personal gifts and celebrated with us. He is very observant and made sure to meet our interests. He even made it possible for us to see a hospital, because that was our wish as medical professionals and we got to know the African culture with its African vibes. We had a really incredible time and would recommend a tour with Moonlight Safari! Asante Sana!

Myself and a friend were visiting Dar es Salaam for a few days before going on to Zanzibar and wanted to experience a safari, but didn't have time to do the larger parks such as Serengeti. Freddy and Moonlight Tours came recommended by an acquaintance and he was able to organise a one day safari to Mikumi national park. He and our driver (Rama) were amazing!! They were both very knowledgeable about the animals and history and culture of the area and we really enjoyed out time. We saw many animals including the illusive Leopard. Freddy also organised a lovely lodge for us to spend the night at and after a morning of spotting more animals, he went above and beyond to drop us at the airport in Dar es Salaam to catch our flight to Zanzibar. This was all done for a very reasonable price. We had such a good time that my friend who was staying in Tanzania longer than me to continue her holiday with her sisters, booked another safari to Ngorongoro with some other additional excursions with Moonlight tours and had an equally amazing time!! So I would 100% recommend them and when I return to Tanzania I will definitely use them again!!

We had an incredible 4 day safari led by our amazing tour guide, Calvin! Not only was Calvin incredibly kind, but his vast knowledge and PASSION was significantly notable as he taught us all about the parks and conservation areas we visited but also about the rich history of the locals and he even was kind and patient enough to teach us some Swahili! Prior to our arrival, upon checking in to our flight from Zanzibar to Arusha, we were informed that we would be switched to another airline company. Since this was our first time, we were slightly taken off guard and immediately contacted Frederic, the owner, to ask him about this. He quickly responded and offered to call airlines as we needed, always making us feel safe and comfortable throughout the process, something that was very consistent from the day we began planning this trip through them 6 months ago! We cannot mention enough how much we recommend Moonlight Tours! We are already looking forward to our next Safari through them!

This was the trip of a lifetime for us. We worked with Frederick for months before the trip and he worked out the perfect itinerary for us making sure we got the best of every park and hotel. He responded almost instantly to every question as well and never lacked an answer. As for the actual safari we couldn’t have been more lucky to have Calvin as our guide. Calvin knew as much as you could know on the animals in the parks as well as everywhere you could go to have the best chances to see rare animals. He was quick to point out hidden animals that most would have missed and always made sure we were comfortable and safe. I would absolutely book another safari with Frederick and Calvin again and couldn’t recommend them more.

We went on a four day fly-in safari to the Serengeti and it was simply a unique experience! Everything was very well planned and Freddy personally took care that we felt comfortable at all times. Also, our very experienced guide Reginald made the trip perfect! He had a great sense of where to find the animals and made the safari very special. We were free to decide on the spot what we most liked to do and see and accordingly the whole safari was tailor made for us. Thank you so much for this great trip that we will never forget!

I decided to organize a 6 Luxury safari days in Tanzania - Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Central Serengeti, Ndutu, Ngorongoro - and decided to contact Soul of Tanzania which was very helpful and professional. I had Fredy as my guide and he was the best guide I could have on this trip. He demonstrated to have a large experience, he was very attentive on all details, he had an “eagle eye” and gave me all the information I may need. Fredy is very polite and easy going. We had 6 excellent days. We were able to see all the Big 5, wildebeest migration, to be with Lions on our side more than once, chetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, buffalo and even a rhino which is very hard too see. I can assure that these days were above all my high expectations and I will never forget this trip. I would love to return with my sons and I assure you that I will organize it with Moonlight Expeditions and request Fredy as our guide. Thank you
