About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- 846maartenv0 contributionsExcellent 6 day Safari trip North East Tanzania with 4 adultsWe've found Dancing Simba via safari.com, one of the many companies. Because of positive reviews and personal contact we've booked a safaritour of 6 days comprising tarangire, ngorongoro, Serengeti and lake natron. Tour started in Arusha all according to agreed timing and pricing. We had an excellent tour, not only because of the right bookings along the way, but especially due to our Driver Calvin and our Cook Daniel. We had lots of fun with them, they understood how to deliver the right service. We all felt at ease with these guys! Thanks again! I would really recommend both Dancing Simba as the a forementioned guides!. Way to go. Karibu!Written September 26, 2024
- hanness7450 contributionsAmazing TripWe had an amazing day trip with Dancing Simba Safari to the Materuni Waterfalls and Chemka Hot Springs. Our guide and driver, Owen, was fantastic! He explained everything so well and made the experience even more enjoyable with his warm and helpful nature. One of the highlights was making our own coffee the traditional way, which was both fun and educational. Owen's enthusiasm and attention to detail really made this trip special. We highly recommend Dancing Simba Safari, especially with Owen as your guide!Written September 23, 2024
- Vito M0 contributionsPrivate bespoke safari. Amazing experience! We spent 6 amazing days in August going through Ngorongoro and Serengeti till Mara river. Ally (Lunge) made our experience unforgettable. He's an excellent guide, super-knowledgable about savana and its animals. It was great to hear all those things about territory, animals and Tanzanian culture from him. He was able to effectively manage a few "technical" glitches too ;-) We were able to see the big migration as well! Lodges and camps and more in general all the organization were perfect. Grazie 1000!Written September 22, 2024
- Emilydi19990 contributionsAmazing company, highly recommend!Every team member we interacted with worked so so hard to make our experience a memorable one, we are so grateful to Dancing Simba Safaris and will never forget it. The food was delicious, the people were amazing, campsites were sooo cool and we saw every single animal we wanted to, our guide made sure of it!!Written September 17, 2024
- 758tannem0 contributionsAmazing tour in Moshi with Julius! We had the best day ever with Julius. He was so kind and so funny. We laughed the whole day and he made the whole experience the best it could. First we drove to the waterfall, then we did the coffee tour. After the coffee tour we ate local food and at the end we did go to the hotsprings. Julius had water in the car for us and also some beers. We would 100% recommend booking with this company but especially with Julius!!!Written September 7, 2024
- shonky10 contributionsAn amazing day trip from Arusha.A great day, the waterfall was lovely, the coffee making, much better than expected and fun, the warm springs were lovely at rhe end of the day. Julius, our driver was chatty and great, and managed to get us an afternoon view of Kilimanjaro, Florian, who took us to the waterfall, showed us many interesting things en route. A really good day trip - go for it !Written September 2, 2024
- Y6989PIdavidr0 contributionsThe most incredible experience. We have just finished a 3 day safari in the Serengeti, as part of our honeymoon, organised by Dancing Simba Safari. All I can say is that it was exceptional and far exceeded our expectations. I was nervous about booking through a company I had found on a comparison website, however our contact from Day 1 (Brenda) was on hand to support with our booking and answer all of our queries, round the clock. She tailored a package to meet our budget, expectations and requirements. Brenda organised everything from our transfer to leaving our hotel in Zanzibar to our transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport for our international flight. We flew from Zanzibar to Serona (via Arusha) seamlessly (the second flight had great views in a 15 seater plane), where we met our guide (Bulldozer). With over a decade of experience, he stayed with us and expertly guided us through out our 3 day private safari experience. He tailored our safari to what we wanted to do. We seen every key animal there was to see (apart from one), which on a really short safari is testament to the skill of the guide. We have thousands of photos that will last a life time. Due to our short trip, we spent most of the time on the game drives. That said, the accommodation that you choose is important. Where possible, I would recommend a camp inside the national park, they range in price and quality drastically. Our favourite was The Escarpment Luxury Camp - it was exceptional. It can feel scary at night (the camps are in the midst of the park where the animals roam, so important to have somewhere you feel comfortable). On our return to Arusha, we swung by the Dancing Simba office to meet the owner (that we had heard so much about). An exceptional experience that is highly recommended.Written August 8, 2024

- samwaddelltravel0 contributionsGreat day out with our amazing guide, Julius!Great day out! The hot springs are a gorgeous spot to relax and chill out. The water is crystal clear and little fish nibble on the dead skin on your feet. The lunch we had at the village was delicious and the service was professional and friendly. It was a very easy trek to the waterfall and definitely worth the minimal effort. The waterfall is stunning, definitely one of the best I have ever saw. We also really enjoyed the coffee experience. Lovely little family who run it who serenaded us with songs. The coffee itself was the best I have ever tasted, smooth and delicious. The highlight of our trip was our guide, Julius! His English is perfect and he is a similar age to us so we had a great laugh the full day. There is a lot of driving on the trip and traffic can be bad but Julius is very friendly and chatty so we talked most of the journey which helped pass the time. I’d definitely recommend requesting to get Julius as your guide if you choose to book this trip! The only other advice I could give is try and leave in one of the earliest slots available. We chose 9am because we had came off the back of Kilimanjaro 2 days before so wanted to sleep it but we got stuck in the rush our traffic on the way out and way back in which made it a long day! So I’d probably recommend choosing 6am or 6.30am!Written July 21, 2024
- gelagaya0 contributionsIt was so wonderfullI embarked on an unforgettable journey with Dancing Simba Safaris from June 28th to July 3rd, 2024. My adventure spanned the diverse landscapes of Tarangire National Park, with its towering baobab trees and vast herds of elephants. The serene beauty of Lake Manyara offered a glimpse of playful baboons silhouetted against the setting sun, their chatter echoing through the trees. Long-necked giraffes stretched their elegant forms to feed on leaves high in the canopy. The awe-inspiring Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, left me breathless. But it was the majestic Serengeti National Park that truly stole the show. Here, a seemingly endless sea of wild animals across the vast savanna, punctuated by the calls of gazelles and the watchful gaze of lions. The air vibrated with a symphony of bird calls. With Dancing Simba's expert guides and comfortable accommodations, our diverse group from all corners of the globe (America, Africa - me from Ethiopia, Europe - Norway, Asia - China, and Australia) had an unforgettable safari experience. The shared thrill of encountering Tanzania's incredible wildlife fostered a sense of camaraderie that transcended cultural differences. Our safari jeep became a microcosm of the world, with six of us sharing stories and laughter. I, from Ethiopia, learned a lot from my fellows, while the thrill of spotting a pride of lions sparked lively discussions with our fellow travelers from Norway, America, and Australia. A special thanks goes to Mr. David John, who ensured everything was perfectly organized, and to our incredible guide, Mr. Joseph. His knowledge and passion for Tanzanian wildlife made the experience truly unforgettable. He expertly explained the tour and the fascinating species of animals we encountered, bringing the wonders of the African savanna to life. This trip was more than just a good time; it was a transformative experience that deepened my appreciation for nature's wonders. From the vast plains teeming with life to the awe-inspiring heights of Kilimanjaro, where I challenged myself with a one-day hike to Mandara Hut, with a special thanks to my incredible guide who expertly paced me throughout the climb, Tanzania offered an unforgettable adventure. Tanzania has cast its spell, and I know it won't be my last visit. Next time, I will be returning with my family for an unforgettable adventure. Together, we will: • Conquer the mighty Kilimanjaro, reaching the summit of Uhuru Peak. • Witness the awe-inspiring spectacle of the Great Migration. • Relax and soak up the beauty of Zanzibar's beaches.Written July 9, 2024

- CeeFreund0 contributionsAwesome safari experience. Thank you, Proches!Where do I even start? Thank you Proches, you were the best guide, we could have hoped for and thank you Dennis you were the best cook we could have hoped for. We were a group of 5 cousins on a family trip. Some of us had allergies, some of us were vegetarians, everyrhing got taken care of. We had already booked the wateruni waterfalls tour through this provider and enjoyed it very much. But this safari was something else. We saw every animal of the big 5 except for the leopard. And they were so close to the car. It was absolutely amazing! Also on our last day Proches bought some sugar cane for us to try! Thank you some much! We highly recommed this tour provider!Written June 30, 2024
- CeeFreund0 contributionsGreat day with Owen, our guideWe absolutely loved this tour. We were 5 cousins on a family trip. Some of us had allergies, some were vegetarians, some were younger than others. This tour accomodated them all. Owen, our guide was superb! Thank you again, Owen. He explained everything about the coffee plantations, we tried Banana beer, went on a really nice hike, we had a great view on Mount Kilimandjaro on the road back from the hot springs and just overall had a great day! Thank you again!Written June 30, 2024
- C5005PHlarat0 contributionsAmazing experience with OwenWe took a trip to Materuni waterfall, coffee tour and hot springs. We were scared because the forecast showed heavy rain all day, but they assured us it won't rain, and then they even got us raincoats for free. The tour was just amazing, you can come really close to the waterfall and take amazing pics. Coffee tour was as well great, you see the production of homemade coffee from scratch and you can buy it there as well. You can take a swim in hot springs which I recommend. But the most amazing thing of the tour was our guide, Owen. You can really see how much he loves what he does and you can feel that with his descriptions and stories about everything we pass by. We had a really great time with him, and if we ever come back and do some tours, we will certainly go with this agency and Owen! He took a lot of photos of us as well. I can't express how much of a good time we had with him. You should give this guy a raise! 😀 I recommend this tour with this guide 100/10 !Written June 20, 2024
- 427kajalc0 contributionsWhat an amazing safariWhat an unforgettable experience - all thanks to everyone at the team of Dancing Simba’s. From organising the trip with David who created an itinerary that suited our short time frame to the brilliant chef Dennis, cooking us incredible meals that we enjoyed thoroughly. Our tour guide, Proches was very knowledge and was dedicated to make this safari a trip of a lifetime. As a group of girls, we felt very comfortable and accommodated, and had a lot of fun during the safari with the whole team at Dancing Simba’s. We can’t thank them enough!! ❤️Written June 15, 2024
