The trip we planned through Good Earth Tours was so easy to plan via email with Narry. Communication was always prompt and professional with all the needed information.
We were lucky to have Richie as our guide! He is extraordinary knowledgeable about the parks, animals and birds and a well experienced driver. He went above and beyond to ensure our family of five (with three young children) had an amazing time and were fully satisfied.
I highly recommend this tour operator and if you get Richie as your guide you are guaranteed an amazing experience!

Just back from the trip of a lifetime in Tanzania and want to thank Good Earth for making the adventure so wonderful. Coordinated the itinerary with the kind and very gracious assistance of Baraka Aminiel who helped ensure that everything went smoothly, that the lodgings were comfortable, that the food would meet the needs of the vegetarians in our small group, and that we had the services of the very best guide in Tanzania, Aaron Richard. We cannot say enough good things about Aaron: he was not only encyclopedic in his knowledge of the incredible variety of animals we saw, he was supernatural in his ability to spot animals, even at great distances, but he was warm, friendly, and had a great sense of humor. He added immeasurably to our experience. We saw so many animals in the four national parks we visited, including 19 lions in one day (not that we were counting); beyond our dreams!

My family and I took at a 7days safari in Tanzania, visiting Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Tarangire.

In planning our safari, we contacted several Companies, but as soon as we contacted Joyce at Good Earth Tours, we knew we were going with them! She was always prompt on responding to our many questions.

I recommend this company with no hesitation. The price was very competitive and we were very happy with the trip!

My husband and I had an amazing experience with this tour company. We arranged it with Baraka who was very helpful and always answering emails promptly.
The safari Land Cruiser was superbly clean and very comfortable with a pair of binoculars included. We really liked combination of tented camps and lodges, and their staff were wonderful, the food excellent and rooms were very clean and comfortable.
Thank you Good Earth Tours for a truly memorable experience, it far surpassed our expectations and we cannot wait to come back to Tanzania!

Went during summer years ago and was just reminiscing. This was absolutely the best vacation of my life. Benedict (my guide) is the freaking man and spotted leopards in trees from a hundred yards away. We had lunch in a Jeep right under a leopard in a tree! We saw all of the big five animals and got so see tons of other birds and wildlife as well. The accommodations are amazing with hot showers, great beds and incredible food (in the middle of the plains of Tanzania mind you). Was truly the experience of a lifetime and I really hope I get to go back one day.

My husband Rob and I have recently been on safari with Good Earth Tours and were completely blown away by the experience.

First of all I would like to mention the wonderful service we had during our planning of the trip, its quite a nerve-racking thing to be sending such large amounts of money overseas based mostly on trip advisor reviews but we needn't have worried. The experience we had was so easy and the quick responses we had from Baraka always made us feel that we were dealing with reliable people. Baraka was a great help in ensuring that we were doing the right trip for us based on the time we had and what we wanted to see.

Our safari was outstanding!! From the moment we stepped out of the airport and were met by George, our amazing guide, we were blown away. It was really nice to see such a professionally presented guide waiting for us and we were blown away by the quality of the vehicle. Having the vehicle all to ourselves was such a luxury and we were provided with binoculars, an abundant supply of fresh cold water as well as having the ability to charge devices while travelling.

My husband and I have both travelled extensively in the past but we both agree that our Tanzania safari with Good Earth was the best trip we have ever been on. The main reason that the trip was so great was because of George. He went out of his way to ensure that we were comfortable and happy and his experience and passion for his job ensured that this was the case at all times. We were able to see everything that we had wanted to see and so much more thanks to his patience and persistence when it came to finding the animals. His knowledge of the animals and their behaviours and habitats was a credit to him and on top of that he understood that we were interested in all nature and was able to explain to us about birds and trees and everything in between. Because of his knowledge we were able to see animals and behaviour that we know other groups just drove on past and we were very grateful for this.

I would also like to mention that it was very clear to us that George has a lot of respect in the industry, we felt we were very lucky to have him as a guide and I would highly recommend asking for him if you are planning a trip. We felt safe in his hands at all times and truly cannot speak highly enough of the service he provided.

All in all we were absolutely blown away by the experiences we had while in Tanzania, the people, the animals, the accommodation and the food are all things that will stay in our memories for a long time to come. I would say to anyone considering a trip to Tanzania, do not hesitate. The country and its wildlife are better than anything you can imagine and the team at Good Earth Tours will do everything in their power to ensure you have the experience of a lifetime.

We will definitely be back!!

We just got back from a 7 night lodge safari in Tanzania starting Nov 6th and it was incredible! This was our first Safari and first time in Africa and these guys made it near effortless on our part. We worked with Baraka state side and then our guide was Ben Morembwa.

First, a little about our experience with the staff.

Baraka was very responsive and helpful. We told him what our interests were and then he planned the trip for us, sending us a detailed itinerary, making sure all of the bookings were in order and what not. We asked him a lot of questions in preparation and he quickly answered all of them. He was a real pleasure to work with.

Our guide was Ben who has been with the company since it opened, so he's got a lot of experience! Can't say enough good things about Ben - he was very professional and knew all of the sites and parks we visited very, very well. He is a real linguist speaking Swahili, English, German and other local languages. Ben was able to name everything we saw on the trip ... just about literally. This goes for animals, birds, lizards, trees, local tribes... you name it. We had a list of about 45 different animals that we saw (and that's just the ones we could remember the names of) and he had information about all of them! He's also really good at birds (if you're an avid bird watcher). Ben is highly recommended in our book, so ask for him specifically!

Now onto the trip...

We went to Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, the Serengeti, and then had a half day with the Hadzabe tribe and Datooga tribe. The entire experience was nothing short of unforgettable. We saw a TON of wildlife. It's so amazing to see so many types of large game and other animals all in the same place existing together. There was one point in Tarangire where we saw: Elephants, zebras, a hornbill, banded mongoose, baboons, elams, impala, and giraffe's - all clearly within eyeshot of where we were stopped, many of them within 25-50 yards. We saw about 30 lions throughout the trip, a few leopards (buggers are hard to spot!), several cheetahs, hippos, elephants, a couple rhino's ... the list would be far too long if I kept going, but either way, there is no shortage of animals. Also, all of the animals looked very healthy, too - both predators and grazers alike.

Our time with the Hadzabe and Datooga tribes was also very interesting and informative. The Hadzabe are a nomadic tribe that speak a 'click' language. We had a separate guide for this as it's a bit... specialized, as you could imagine. His name was JJ and he was also very good. We were able to see how they live, hunt (by going on a hunt with them), make bows/arrows/etc, make fire, what their social structure is like, etc. It was very informative. The Datooga community we visited specialized in making metal arrow heads (which the Hadzabe gets from them) and other metal bracelets and such. So a good bit so manual smelting and blacksmithing. They are very good at their craft!

Also - all the lodges were really wonderful.... like you sit and listen to lions and hyenas while you sleep, wonderful.

Hope this was helpful - you won't go wrong with these guys!

This was our third safari with good earth tours and the second in Tanzania. The booking process was pleasant and smooth as usual with Baraka taking care of all the details effectively, We requested our old tour guide Fadhili Komba and we were fortunate he was available, He was simply outstanding- personable, hardworking, knowledgeable and a big reason why we enjoyed our safari so much. In addition, the safari vehicle was in excellent condition and very comfortable, and they delivered on all the arrangements. I would highly recommend this tour company and Fadhili as your guide for an excellent Safari in this beautiful country. We hope to be back with good earth and Fadhili again.

Our pleasure at selecting this tour company started when we contacted their headquarters in Canada. We received very personal service from Baraka Maro to tailor our trip to meet everyone's needs. This was truly a trip of a lifetime. Not only the animals, but the Tanzanian people, so friendly and welcoming. Our tent lodges and lodges were lovely, especially maramboi-tented lodge near Lake Manyara. This lodge is surrounded by savanna with the lake in the distance. Many grazing animals are there for you to observe from your veranda. We had a lovely guide and Good Earth Tours was there every step of the way.

Our Daughter, her Husband, their three children and my wife and I just finished an amazing 8 day safari in Tanzania. Our tour company, Good Tours and Safari is outstanding. We cannot say enough about how we were treated during our trip. Our guide and driver was Juma Komba and he took great care to make our trip the best. This was our second time using Good Earth Tours and I recommend it as outstanding. We got to see the "Big Five" and thousands of other animals.
The highlite of our trip was when my daughter Julie spotted a baby elephant with a wire snare wrapped around its trunk. The baby was following its mother another adult elephant. When Juma realized the danger this wire meant to the little elephant he contact Park Rangers. Juma had served as Park Ranger earlier in his career. The Park Rangers were able to anesthetize the elephants, remove the wire snare, treat the wound and saved the little guy!! This tour company is the greatest!! If you are coming on Safari - give this company a serious consideration. You will not be sorry!!
