We visited Tarangire National park two days ago. We were lucky with the weather and also with the tour. We saw so many animals also lions on the river bank. Our guide saw a new group of zebras headed to the river and told us, if we are lucky, there will be some chasing. And there was. We saw the lionesses in action and it was a succesful one. Thanks to the guide we were in first row. Highly recommended.

Our tour was amazing! Our driver/guide was on time, very kind, knowledgeable and took us to see most of the wildlife that we wanted to see with the exception of lions and hippos. I believe they were hiding from us on that day. LOL. Visiting Africa was a dream come true for me at the tender age of 51 and my daughter enjoyed it as well.

The trip was amazing. Me and my friend enjoyed every moment during the trip. All the staffs treated us very well. It’s one of the greatest experience we had. Hassani, our guide was also amazing. His knowledge about the safari and animals amazed us a lot. We learned a lot from him. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience.

We did a three day Safari with Fidelus, and it was absolutely a dream! He was very knowledgeable and patient as we took so many photographs. We had so much fun and are definitely considering coming back soon. Would definitely recommend!

My brother and father had a 7 day safari with Soul. We contacted 3-4 of the top tour companies on trip advisor and they came out on top for communication, itinerary, flexibility and price.
We landed at Kilimanjaro Aiport and had our first night at Arusha Villa (see seperate reviews for accommodation). The driver, and tour organizers provided a briefing before the trip and importantly confirmed what was (and was not) included. It was good to do this all at the outset.
We travelled to Tarangire, Central Serengeti, North Serengeti and finally back to Arusha via Ngorongoro Crater.
It seems like a guide/driver can make or break your trip. We had a superstar named Solomon. He's a true gentleman, friendly and a safe driver. Most importantly, he had eyes like a hawk and an amazing safari instinct. We managed to see 3 river crossings in the space of 3 hours, with a 4th crossing the next day. We managed to see all the animals in a variety of habitats that we wanted, even the elusive black rhino in Ngorongoro Crater.
The other great thing about Soul of Tanzania is the hot lunches. Each day, Solomon would set out a nice table cloth, plates, cutlery and we'd get to eat a hot meal. Our meals included meat and vegetable curries, rice, noodles and pastas. Other companies seemed to provide lunch boxes containing a sandwich, juice and yoghurt. BTW I'm a vegetarian (no meat, chicken or seafood) and definitely did not go hungry.
If you do plan a safari be aware that the drives are long, and often on rough roads. They call it the Tanzanian Massage. If I had my choice again I would go from Arusha to Tarangire, then Ngorongoro (+/- Laky Manyara), Central Serengeti, Northern Serengeti, then FLY back to Arusha to avoid the long drive back.

My best friend and I recently returned from a 6 day safari tour with Soul of Tanzania! It was the most wonderful experience! We visited Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara, Serengeti National Park for 2 nights and Ngorongoro Conservation Area and crater. We had the BEST guide Zamo, who was just exceptional! He was so knowledgeable of all the wildlife, and could anticipate how the animals would behave which meant that he always managed to manoeuvre our safari truck into prime viewing position. His eyesight was also incredible - often spotting animals in the distance (whilst driving) that we needed binoculars to see. He treated us both so well & made sure that we were comfortable and content at all times. He even taught us some Swahili. We had so many laughs with Zamo too! It was such a pleasure to get to know him.
We were also treated to hot lunches each day which we quickly realised was not the norm as we could see many others with lunch boxes. Not only was it hot lunch with dessert and wine, but it was with tablecloth and cutlery. Very spoilt!
The safari itself was so amazing! The amount of animals and wildlife we saw was incredible, and so close to us. The landscapes were truly special too.
The accomodation was lovely too. Soul of Tanzania offers a variety of different types of accomodation at various price levels. We found our accomodation to be really wonderful. The Tanzanians are all so friendly, welcoming and accomodating. And the lodges and camps we stayed in were pristine, and the food delicious.
I cannot recommend Soul of Tanzania more highly! They were always responsive and helpful with all our crazy questions. They were so professional and everything ran so smoothly. Make sure you ask for Zamo as your guide - he honestly is the best!!

We recently returned from our 8 day/7 night safari with Soul of Tanzania for our honeymoon and had the most amazing time (I have included our itinerary at the bottom of this post for those interested)!! Soul of Tanzania was incredibly responsive to ALL (and I mean literally, all) of our questions and concerns throughout the entire booking process. Their office and team made the booking process seamless and they consistently made themselves available to provide any advice or guidance.I HIGHLY recommend Soul of Tanzania to anyone looking into a Tanzanian safari. I would also be remiss not to mention that we had HOT lunches each and every day during our safari with Soul of Tanzania...this was a game changer!! You will see almost all other tour companies with their pre-made boxed lunches (which looked to be about the same everyday)...meanwhile, we enjoyed a hot lunch each day at the picnic sites, which was a true delight after spending hours in the car for the daily game drives.
Now, to the actual safari...we had the most AMAZING guide in Solomon. It was clear from day one that Solomon was an experienced guide and incredibly respected among his peers. At every stop, picnic site, park entrance, hotel, etc.(literally) it was obvious that the other guides looked to Solomon for advice on the road and that he was truly an expert. Solomon also became a part of our family during our safari and we truly looked forward to spending time with him each and everyday. We still keep in contact with him today even after our safari. Solomon went out of his way each and every day to make sure we saw what we wanted to see and he delivered each day (from witnessing a hunt, to seeing ALL of the Big 5 to catching the Great Migration), we were never disappointed and enjoyed an absolutely once in a lifetime trip due in large part to Solomon. Solomon worked tirelessly to get us up close with all of the animals that we wanted to see and was incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife and parks in general. Solomon, we will be back soon!!

Overall, all of the camps were great. Without going into too much detail, our favorites were Kubu Kubu, Lake Manyara Tree Lodge and the Highlands. I would emphasize to try to stay inside the parks at night to maximize your time for game drives each day. It makes a big difference. We also wish we had one extra day at Tarangire!
Now, to the actual safari...we had the most AMAZING guide in Solomon. It was clear from day one that Solomon was an experienced guide and incredibly respected among his peers. We've been on several safaris, but this was our first in Tanzania. From the first email communications, we were very impressed with Soul of Tanzania. They offered fantastic options for game drives and hotels based on our timeframe and budget. Nico, our driver, was excellent and very experienced. He picked us up at the airport, drove us to the hotel and was there the next morning promptly to begin our 3-day tour. We visited Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire, all beautiful and unique in their own way. Nico was super informative and spotted all sorts of animals, birds, plants and trees. We were served a hot lunch with wine (!) each day on our game drive which was nicer than anything else we've ever had. No cold boxed lunches here! We loved our accomodations at two Serena properties and would highly recommend booking with Soul of Tanzania. Excellent experience!!

Once in a lifetime experience! Mei ling from Soul of Tanzania was very helpful with planning our trip, booking accommodations etc. Pickup from the airport was very smooth. We did a 7 day safari tour around Tarangire, Seregeti and Ngorongoro. Our tour guide, Said, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and made our trip very informative and fun at the same time. He was accommodating and flexible with our schedule, and we saw almost everything that was on our bucket list. Hot lunch and accommodation were awesome. Overall a really amazing experience!
