About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- ChiaraAvoli0 contributionsAn unforgettable experienceThe safari experience was perfect, and Easy Travels showed great attention to detail. The accommodations were beautiful, with breathtaking views of the parks. The hotel staff were always very welcoming and making us feel welcome and special. The best part however was our Easy Travels guide Emmilian. He is extremely knowledgeable and thanks to him this experience was unforgettable. We were able to see every single animal, including the big five, and felt extremely lucky to have Emmilian as a guide as he was able to teach us so much information on every single animal. Additionally he was the first guide to spot many animals in the parks, thanks to his experience. Thank you Emmilian and Easy Travels for making this an unforgettable experience.Written December 9, 2024
- 298vicentep0 contributionsHoney Moon SafariThis is one of the best experiences me and my wife have ever have. To see the national parks, the animals , the roads was something out of a dream. This was our honey moon travel, and we got to see Arusha museum were we got to meet Tom, we went to see Tarangire National park were we got to see lions, elephants, baboons, giraffes and the park was really beautiful, it reminded me of Jurassic park something amazing. Then we drove thru Ngorongoro national park to Serengeti we got the luck of seen all the animals and a Cheetah with the cub and a Leopard. In Ngorongoro we saw finally 2 rhinos and Lions really close!! We totally recommend Easy Travel they are extremely well organized and have a really good attention to details. Finally the best part and it’s a must , Emmilian our guide, driver and friend. He is the best at his job, he loves what he does, he knows all animals and their behavior we always felt save. He could predict animal behavior and stay ahead of their movement so we always were at the right place and right time. He spotted the rhino first in the national park and knew when to come back to see the rhino standing. He’s knowledge and expertise made the whole experience perfect. Everyone seems to know him and respect him , as he was seeing as a role model for many other guides and lodge workers. Thank you Emmilian for everything We will come back and choose easy travel and go with Emmilian It’s a trust and safe choice to go on Safari, the next time we will go more days and see more parksWritten December 9, 2024

Pick up at the airport was easy. We have 2 young boys, our driver Omega related to them well and they adored Omega!!! He also was very accommodating to their needs and schedule. We saw all of the animals we could imagine and felt very safe. We had a once and a lifetime experience, thank you Easy Travel.Written December 8, 2024

Nico was very knowledgeable and great fun, and always super helpful with any issues or questions. He provided us with a great experience, helping us enjoy a terrific holiday. - MBG99990 contributionsFabulousWe did a custom made safari with Easy Travel, to Arusha NP, Lake Manyara NP, the Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire. Everything was great. Masuma was helpful and responsive and even sent us information on Zanzibar (which we organised ourselves). Our guide, Nico, was fabulous - experienced, very knowledgeable, caring, accommodating and good company. It makes a real difference having a guide who knows the parks so well. We saw amazing landscapes and more animals than we could’ve hoped for - as well as all the classic animals and the big 5 we saw cheetahs, beautiful birds and more. Thank you Nico and Easy Travel for an amazing holiday.Written December 7, 2024
- Go207542450870 contributionsSafari tour with guide Nico.Nico was a very good guide. He drove very well and had excellent knowledge of the animals and where to look for them. He was excellent at confirming arrangements as our safari went along and even helping with lost airline baggage to begin with. Our tour was bespoke and was well arranged as we wanted. I recommend Nico and this company.Written December 7, 2024

With his experiene we were to see many types of wild life especially the big five. On the very fisrt day we were able to find the lion and rhino, The leopard, cheetah, elephant, buffalo on the second day beside other wildlife. His knowledgeable info about the wildlife are very helpful. We are also happy with the staff at our accommodation sites which very friendly, cheerful and helpful . - ptganapati0 contributionsBest Trip Ever! Our safari with Hussein and Simon from Easy Travel was truly unforgettable. Their exceptional knowledge of the wildlife and the park made every game drive an adventure. They were incredibly patient, considering we were travelling with 4 curious kids, and they were always taking the time to find the best vantage points for wildlife viewing. Hussein and Simon were also fantastic guides, sharing fascinating stories and insights about the animals, the ecosystem, and the local culture. Their passion for this work was evident in every interaction. Beyond their expertise, Hussein and Simon were genuinely kind and friendly. They made us feel comfortable and safe throughout the entire trip. We couldn't have asked for better guides. If you're planning a safari in Tanzania, I highly recommend booking a tour with Easy Travel. You won't be disappointed! It was not just the drivers/guides, but their whole team was excellent, particularly Masuma from the booking office.Written December 2, 2024
- Derek R0 contributionsAmazing adventure! My girlfriend and her mother and I just completed a 5 day private Safari tour to Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro with Easy Travel. It was an awesome trip! Our driver and Safari guide, Harry, was excellent at identifying all the various animals, birds, trees and flowers. We saw all of the Big 5 and many other creatures. And he was an excellent driver in some tough driving conditions! Highly recommend!Written November 30, 2024
- Sightseer172630995620 contributionsAmazing Safari AdventureMy partner, my mother, and I are halfway through a private tour of Tanzania (safari + Zanzibar). The safari component was 5 days, split between Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. We stayed at two great Tortilis camps and the lovely Mbali Mbali Soroi Tented Lodge. The planning process with Masuma at Easy Travel was very smooth. Her guidance and expertise were invaluable. But we really lucked out when we met our guide, Herry. He has made all the difference to our time in Tanzania. Herry is so knowledgeable, warm, funny, and patient. He took extra care with my Mom, who’s in her early 80s. He catered to our quirks (e.g. a love of dead trees) and taught us so much about the culture, animals, trees, birds and insects of Tanzania. What a fabulous ambassador for the country, and for Easy Travel. Herry’s also an amazing driver — through rain, sun, mud and mist. We felt completely safe in his care, and the van was well-equipped with electrical outlets, wifi and drinks. Next, we fly to Zanzibar to spend a few days at Nungwi Beach, followed by a few days in Stone Town. Can’t wait — we just wish Herry was coming with us!Written November 30, 2024
- benir20180 contributions6 day trip visiting lake manyara, Ngorogoro, Serengeti and Tarangiri. Extra visit to 2 local villages and Masai villageWe spent 6, days traveling around with Easy Travel. We visited 4 parks with the best guide - Mariki. He shared with us a lot of knowledge of local life and a lot of safari stories. He made sure we saw the big 5 and always found a way to get us as close to the animals as possible. Thanks to him we saw every animal possible up close and most with babies 😍 truly a wonderful experience with no stress and no worries. Hakuna matata and Asante sana.Written November 30, 2024

- Jamesrc1000 contributionsBrilliant trip and can’t recommend Calvin enough as a guide! My partner booked this for my 30th birthday, it was absolutely brilliant. I can’t recommend easy travel enough, everything was so well organised from the minute we landed, they were their to collect us, Calvin our guide is second to none, extremely helpful, very knowledgeable and informative. Anything we needed then Calvin would sort it! Also on safari he was an expert, knew everything what we asked him and knew all the good places where to see the Big 5 which we saw more than once, anything we wanted to see he would take us. We did one night in Arusha, then went to tarengei park, the elephants literally touched the truck, Calvin put us right in the correct places! We then went to lake Eyesi, and visited the local tribes which I would recommend as you don’t get to see how they live every day and while you’re out here it breaks up the safari nicely! We then went to the nogorogo creator which we saw all the big 5 in, amazing place, following that we went to the Serengeti, which was how you would imagine Africa is, it’s mind blowing! We also did a hot air ballon safari, which was incredible! Thankyou to Calvin our guide, absolute pleasure! And a massive thankyou to Helen at easy travel who organised everything, and was even at the end of the phone when she didn’t have to be after the trip! Fantastic!Written November 28, 2024

We researched a lot before booking our Tanzania Safari with Easy Travel Tanzania. Easy travel had great communication and really listened to what we wanted which was a Safari focused on Wildlife Photography with our own private guide and driver. We went to Lake Manyara, Ndutu, Sernegti, Ngorogoro crater, and Tarangire. We saw a lot of wildlife and got a lot of very nice photos. From a photography standpoint I cant imagine not having a private guide/vehicle. We were able to stop/go when we wanted and we also enjoyed the flexibility of being able to look out both sides of the vehicle without having other passengers in our vehicle. We loved our guide(Evarest Mboya). He was wealth of knowledge, a great/safe driver, and has been guiding for a long time so he knows the remote areas and roads of the wilderness areas of Tanzania which is really important on a Safari. Having a great guide is very important on Safari and you spend a lot of time with your guide so they need to be personable as well. We had a great time with Mboya and we did our best to learn Swahili. We stayed at Tortillis camps and also Ndutu bush camp which were all very comfortable with great service and great feeling of being in remote Africa. I work in Travel industry for a prominent Small Ship/Expedition cruise/Adventure company and I work with many high end operations every day all over the world and I have traveled with many of them as well and I can say that the communication from Easy Travel and the Execution of their Safari Products rivals any of the High End Wilderness/Wildlife trips that I have taken. Operationally, Easy travel is an impressive company that manages/maintains all of its own vehicles and is involved in all aspects of the Safari from the time of booking until the end of the trip which is not always the case with tour operators. They are a company that care implicitly about their customers from the time they contact them through the end of the trip. We would highly recommend Easy Travel Tanzania for Tanzania Safari Experiences. We especially recommend the private Safari guide/driver experience even if you are just 1 couple travelling. Thank you to Amina, Musaddiq, and Mboya for all you did in making our Safari Fantastic and memorable!

Our family had been wanting to visit Tanzania to see the Serengeti and other National parks for many years. We messaged tour companies a couple years back and received no response.
This year we tried again, and based on customer reviews selected 2 of the top rated tour companies; Easy Travel and one other. Within hours we received a full itinerary from Easy Travel covering everywhere we wanted to visit as well as multiple options to further customize our trip. When planning international travel particularly one with the intracities as a safari, it was imperative to work with a responsive company. By the way it wasn't till over 2 weeks later that we heard back from the other company.
We went with Easy Travel and were very happy we did. We had many questions, food, accommodations, malaria, visa's, and many more. All questions were answered and our 9 day safari went off without a hitch.
Our driver/guide Dennis was the best. Very knowledgeable and very personable. We'll never forgot our safari or the positive impact Dennis had on it.
There are quite a lot of safari tour companies. If you select Easy Travel you will be happy with your decision.

You are right, there are hundreds of safari companies here - some good, some not very good.
All our team work very hard to try and make us one of the good ones and it is great to read reviews like yours that suggest that we are succeeding.
We always respond quickly to enquiries and we think our guides know our country well - and they love it, too!
Thank you for trusting us to deliver a good experience, we would love to see you again one day!

We just got back from an outstanding experience with easy travel exploring Tanzania.
As for the booking class, we tried both - basic and comfort camping. Of course, comfort is a whole different world. You‘ll feel like king and queen in a huge, beautifully decorated tent, own bathroom, restaurants and lounges, and amazing staff.
If you can tolerate the sanitary situation, we would recommend basic for a more authentic experience. Buffalos were literally grazing next to our tent. You cannot be closer to nature. A once in a lifetime experience, but for sure very basic. However, tent, mattresses, blankets, etc is taking care of by easy travel, so you can just enjoy your time!
Our guide, Isaak, was a magician who found every animal we were hoping to see - leopard, black rhino, cheetah, mating lions,... everything right in front of our eyes. His eyesight and intuition were just incredible. Also, he was, at all times, extremely friendly, knowledgable and helpful. He was basically our encyclopedia. We really enjoyed spending time with him and couldn‘t be happier that he was our guide. Also, you should know that the drivers have a communication network, so you‘ll be sure to find the real action.
The food, cooked by Gerald, was just amazing. I do not eat meat and was a little worried before traveling to Tanzania, but Gerald cooked the best food ever, very diverse, yummy and authentic. We wanted to take him home in the end to enjoy his food forever.
As for the organization, we would like to also mention Norah, who took very good care of all the planning details, briefed us thoroughly and made sure that our honeymoon would be a journey we‘ll never forget.
Thank you to everyone of easy travel for this wonderful trip! All the best to you and your families for 2020!
Asante sana!

We had such a great experience with Easy Travel. We initially booked our safari for August 2020 which we unfortunately had to postpone. Although we were not offered a refund for our initial deposit, we were given quite a bit of flexibility for rebooking when we felt comfortable. During that extended period of time, Lizbeth was such a pleasure to work with. Very quick to respond and was polite and helpful even after asking her many MANY questions. She was super knowledgable about everything from visas and entry requirements, to the latest COVID measures and where we could get tested, if needed. We all felt very well prepared for our trip because of her.
Everything about the trip went extremely smoothly, even with the additional COVID requirements. From the time we landed until the time we got through security for our return flight, we were always in the company of someone from Easy Travel who looked out for us.
We were so lucky to have Freddy as our driver - hands down the best guide. He was extremely knowledgeable about all the animals (off the top of his head!), the Serengeti/Ngorongoro regions, and the history of Tanzania. He knew exactly where to drive each day to give us the best chance of seeing the local animals and you could tell he was very popular with all the other drivers from other companies and camps because they always stopped to greet him. If you're signing up for a safari, make sure to request Freddy!!
Also, the camps we stayed at each night were incredible - super friendly and genuine staff plus amazing food and amenities! You will not be disappointed.

Sometimes an experience is so extraordinary that I feel compelled to write a review.
My safari experience with Easy Travel was beyond words. Our tour company perfectly balanced professionalism, local knowledge, impeccable planning AND excitement, alongside constant reassurance and support at every stage of my trip. On top of all of this our tour guide, Adriano, was clearly respected and revered by all the competition tour guides, and we felt very lucky to have made such a good choice booking with Easy Travel.
As a sole parent traveling with a 12 year old there was so much to consider. Months before my visit I worked closely with Kabwe in Easy Travel’s head office to plan what turned out to be an impeccable itinerary. We spent exactly the right amount of time in the most amazing places, and other travelers I spoke to were envious of how well organized our experience was. Kabwe was always available to me over email and WhatsApp.
Kabwe also provided me with exact guidance to handle all visa, Covid, and entrance requirements. She seamlessly booked all internal flights, our balloon ride, accommodation, and made special arrangements with every vendor for my son’s nut allergy. Kabwe… thank you!!
As for our tour guide… Adriano was such a gift to us. He is so passionate and knowledgeable about his country, and cared a great deal that we left with an appreciation of Tanzania, the land, the wildlife, and the importance of conservation. He knew more about every species than anyone else we spoke to, and he navigated every main road and winding dirt track of Tanzanian national parks without ever consulting a map.
Adriano knew where to look for every animal, and through his keen eyes we saw all of the ‘big five’ and many more wildlife delights. He would spot vultures that lead us to feasting carnivores, see the hanging tail of a leopard in the distance (while driving) that my 20/20 eyes needed binoculars for, and he knows the world of termites and egrets as well as the behaviors of cheetahs, ostrich, and hippos.
Thank you for such a special experience, Adriano. You left us with a love of your country and your culture that goes way beyond an appreciation of its natural gifts.

Our guide Emmilian Matay was super experienced, helpful and joyful, and he made our 9 days Safari trip really an awesome experience and wonderful memory for me and my parents. Emmillian knew super well where to find big cats, we have seen 12 lions lying under a tree and a leopard was up on the tree at the same time, two elephant groups meeting each other and politely back off, mother cheetah and her three young cheetah resting quietly on the mound, tons of wildbeast crossing mara river and back and again, lions hunting and buffalo hunted down etc. It was documentary you watch came true. Emmilian also learning Chinese really actively along the trip and really happy to see my parents enjoyed having conversions along the trip with our guide in Chinese. Best guide!
Our planner Kabwe was also super helpful, responsive and patiently help us designed this customized 9 days Safari trip that including Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Serengeti (North and South). These national parks and reserves are truly the highlights of Tanzania and for view wild animals.
This is a long overdue review but I was super satisfied with the trip experience with Easy Travel. Great memories!

Thank you - it does not matter if your review is a bit overdue, we still loved reading it.
Best thing is to know that you really enjoyed your safari! Our guides speak many languages, and although Chinese is a difficult one to learn, we are getting there!
Great to hear from you,

Wowww! What an incredible life experience! We have been in awe throughout of whole trip, from the helpful & efficient responsiveness to our questions and requests during the lead up, through to the Safari from beginning to end.
Awesome Adrian has been our guide and driver throughout. He has been welcoming, friendly, attentive and authentic throughout our 7 days together. He has ably communicated and collaborated with us each day, driven full days, shared his excellent knowledge & suggestions, and found the best animal viewing spots. We’ve Safari-ed through Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Nogorongo Crater and Tarangire experiencing every animal we could have imagined and more - elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, tree lions, leopards, monkeys, hyena, hippos, wildebeast lots of different types of birds, flamingo, the elusive rhino and lots more! It’s not just the animals we’ve seen, but the outstanding natural environments they’re in.
Adrian’s knowledge of off the beaten track areas meant that we experienced some extra special areas with no other tourists, and lots of extra wildlife. His ability to drive exceptionally well while also scanning for animals helped us feel both safe and supported.
The quality of accommodation, meals and support were also exceptional. All of our nights were in interesting and scenic ‘in park’ locations. We stayed in extremely comfortable tented accommodation with great staff. Staying in the parks meant we got to see more wildlife at dusk after other groups had departed
I can highly recommend Easy Travel and recommend Adrian as an exceptional guide and driver.

This was our second safari with Easy Travel and our driver/guide Tesha. We saw many big cats and babies of all the animals. We visited Tarangire NP, Lake Manyara NP, Ndutu Conservation Area, Serengeti NP, Ngorongoro Crater and Arusha NP.
We want to thank Easy Travel and Tesha for making our safari easy, safe, comfortable and incredible! Tesha's knowledge, experience and patience were beyond anything we could have hoped for. He knew where to find every animal we wanted to see and could spot anything that moved. He even knew where to park the vehicle in order to get the best photo in anticipation of the animals' movements.
In Tarangire NP we saw many baobab trees, monkeys, elephants and even a couple lions and a cheetah.
In Lake Manyara there were monkeys and huge families of baboons in the jungle. Large herds of elephants were all around our 4x4 land cruiser. We also saw many large colorful birds. Tesha knew all the names of the birds and spotted every bird there was to see.
Ndutu was where were saw the wildebeest and zebra migration which was truly amazing! They were all around our vehicle and we even saw a line of wildebeest running along side the road. We saw many cheetahs and lions pretending not to hunt the wildebeest. Tesha even spotted two dung beetles pushing wildebeest dung along the road!
In the Serengeti we saw a mama lion carrying her two week old cubs around between all the 4x4s. We saw a leopard, many cheetahs, hippos, elephants, giraffes, zebra, flamingo, gazelle, and many colorful birds.
In Ngorongoro Crater, we saw the Big Five in two hours! This is unheard of since it is very hard to find a leopard here. We saw a big male lion walking down the road into the crater, African cape buffalo as we entered the crater, elephants, a leopard in a far off tree and six black rhinoceros. In addition to these we saw wildebeest hippos, birds, gazelle and zebra.
We went on a walking tour in Arusha NP where we saw warthogs, African cape buffalo and giraffes. The giraffes were within 15 feet of us! Super amazing! We drove around the park and saw birds, flamingos, and colobus monkeys.
Thank You again Easy Travel (Lizbeth) and Tesha for another amazing and unforgettable safari!

Thank you - I can almost feel your enthusiasm, (!) which is great. Tanzania is full of animals, but even by normal standards it seems that you had a great trip and saw every beast our country has!
We are glad that you chose us again, it was our honour to host you.

We traveled to Tanzania in a group of 19 for a 7 day safari adventure to the Serengeti, Tarangari and Ngorongoro. Right off from the airport pickup, Easy Travel was professional and welcoming to our rambunctious group. The itinerary was organized with debriefs so we knew what to expect each day.
Our guides were Freddy, Richard, Adrian and Ombeni. Our guide was Ombeni and he has a vast and expansive knowledge of the park, culture and animals. From the feedback from our group, the other drivers were just as knowledgeable. Ombeni knew my love of photography and always made sure I got the best shots for pictures. To be in a vehicle for most of the safari, the guides were all friendly and accommodating. We got to visit a local Maasai village but they also arranged for us to drop off clothes and money to two local orphanages.
Now the fun part, the game drive. Each day opened up new surprises and findings. The proximity of the wildlife to our vehicles was amazing. It allowed for epic photos. Whether it was perfect timing or the experience of the guides, we encountered rare sightings of leopards and cheetahs. The guides communicated with eachother when there was a sighting so we can all experience it together. There was plenty of time to take in the views, experience various ecosystems and learn about the local culture.
Our last night, the restaurant and guides arranged for a birthday party and a local pumba dinner prepared by someone in our group. We became a safari family and celebrated the week. It was wonderful. You can tell there was sincerity in the guide’s dedication to our safari experience.
Easy Travel made it seamless and easy. It was a trip if a lifetime. We felt safe and taken care of. Without Easy Travel, I know I would not have enjoyed Tanzania as much. Even in the middle of a pandemic, Easy Travel made sure we were tested in a timely manner. They were also on call to make sure we made it safely on our flight. Our next safari trip, we will be making sure we use them again.

Thank you, our aim is to look after our precious guests from the minute they make their first enquiry to the time they depart - and beyond, if necessary.
I am so pleased to read that you had a good time. It was a pleasure to host such a big group (this is definitely the only review we have had with the word 'rambunctious' in it!) But we love lively, engaged groupd who appreciate what we are showing them.
It will be lovely to welcome you back again one day!

Easytravel made traveling easy! Our group planned a safari for 2020 but had to postpone a year due to covid. Lizbeth at Easytravel told us it would not be a problem to postpone our trip for a year, which is exactly what we did. She handled all our questions (and we asked her a lot of questions) and her patience and knowledgeable answer made for a smooth experience. Could not ask for a better tour company. They picked us up directly from the airport and we did not have to think or worry about any logistics the entire trip.
Our tour guide Freddy also beat all our expectations. He was a very friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous guide who knew everything there is to know about the Serengeti, the animals, and Tanzania. He was a master at finding all the animals, knew our itinerary, made sure we were always on time, and in general was a pleasure to be around. He made us feel comfortable and we greatly enjoyed his company. Asante sana Freddy!
The camps we stayed at were wonderful. The food was great. And everyone we met were incredibly hospitable.
A 10/10 vacation that I will never forget. Book your safari confidently with Easytravel - and make sure to ask for Freddy!

Hi, we (two people) are planning on joining this tour on 25/12/2019, Q1: what time can you pick us up from Kilimanjaro International Airport in the morning? Q2: on the last day, what time can you drop us off at the airport (31/12/2019)?
Written October 26, 2019
Hi, I was wondering while the safari is in Serengeti, will we also to go Oldupai Gorge? If not, how much extra time and cost will be involved?
Written October 26, 2019
That would be a question for Easy Travel Tanzania, but I bet they would work it in to your tour. The tour manager will ask what’s important to you and put it together. We wanted to focus on animals, migration and to visit a school.
Written October 27, 2019
Can we do this "Private Tour" with only 2 persons?

Gibt es eine Mindestgröße für die Gruppe oder reichen auch 2 Personen?

What is typical lunch? Were u in need of binoculars? What do u wish you would have brought on the Africa trip in General? We want tent accommodations inly to keep price down. Possible? Anything disappointing? Did you do night rìdes? How long are the days? We don't want to be early to camp and just sit around. Thanks.

Pasta, beef, chicken, rice and vegetables. They ask you your preferences before they make it and we lacked for nothing.
EastTravel’s driver had two binoculars. You tell them what you want and how active you want to be. We didn’t have a night drive, but we had evening drives. We were exhausted after a day. There are break times and rest areas. We would have tent camped, but my husband had a hip replacement in January so we chose comfort which was luxurious. I can’t imagine Luxury accommodations!

Hi, We are looking to book a 7 day classic safari next year. We are grandparents,{in our late 60s}. parents and 2 grandsons aged 10. Are the roads and tracks suitable for us oldies. Cheers Clive.
Written July 23, 2018
Dear Clive,
I recently came back from the 7 day safari. I was on a small group tour (versus a private tour since I was traveling solo). The age of the 6 members is our group ranged from early 20s to a couple in their late 60s celebrating their 45th wedding Anniversary (I had just turned 50) The roads at time could be a little bumpy but really no issues. There is also very little walking since you are in a vehicle most of the time. I went comfort class so we stayed in the tented camps that had private bathrooms with shower and toilet, and comfortable beds to sleep in. Doing the tented camps versus lodges was great, we got to hear lions every night but never felt unsafe. This was the best trip I have ever gone on, and if your grandkids love animals they will love this trip.
I hope this was helpful
