- Sylvie M0 contributionsGreat game viewingThis was our last park for game viewing before returning home ,it did not disappoint..... just a short drive into the park there were lots of elephants and many giraffe , we also saw tree lions all spotted within 30mins of entering..of course it’s the luck of the draw as to what you see and when...we stayed overnight at the Sopa Lodge and left the next morning and saw very little along the drive out... We saw several lions one lioness was stalking a “Pumba” ..she failed the pumba lived another day.Written May 29, 2019
- Raymond B0 contributionsVocationlake Mnyara national park is a closeiest park in arusha than Ngorongoro or serenget, This national park is one of Tanzania’s most dramatically located wildlife areas, consisting of a massive but shallow soda lake (covering two-thirds of the park), located at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment. The park’s varied habitat attracts a wide variety of animals, including one of Africa’s largest concentrations of elephants, Lake Manyara’s unique tree-climbing lions, as well as large flocks of flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake.Written October 18, 2018
