We spent two wonderful weeks in Sri Lanka with Lalith as our driver and tour guide, after he was recommended to us by a good friend, following their trip the previous year.
Lalith is incredibly professional, friendly and knowledgeable and made our trip totally hassle free, as we travelled around the country during our stay. His car was very new, spacious and immaculately clean, with onboard wifi too.
We had an itinerary which we shared with Lalith before flying out, and with his local knowledge he was able to help us to adapt the trip to really maximise our time in Sri Lanka.
Lalith was timely and reliable. He was waiting for us when we arrived at Columbo airport, stayed with us (in accommodation nearby), throughout the whole 2 week trip, and took us back to the airport to fly home at the end.
It is very typical for drivers to remain with holidaymakers throughout the duration of the holiday, to ensure they are available as and when needed, for planned journey’s but also spontaneous ones too We had complete control over timings and what we wanted to do, he was just a phone call away.
Our itinerary included visiting Sigiriya Rock, Tea Plantation, Adam’s Peak, Horton Plains (Worlds End), train to Ella, Yala National Park, Tangalle, Whale Watching from Mirissa and Galle.
We would thoroughly recommend Lalith. He is so friendly and helpful and was able to give us fantastic insight into each of the attractions, places of interest and regions we visited.

This is our first time travelling to Sri Lanka and we were a group of friends consisting of 3 ladies. We started our journey with Lalith on the 5th March till the 10th March. He is a wonderful and friendly driver. Very discipline and respectful and always on time. He was patient and he drove us from Negambo to Yala National Park. Patiently followed us on the jeep to watch the animals at the safari. From Yala we then travelled to Ella and Nuwara Eliya. Drove for hours to Kandy and around. And from Kandy to Colombo. He showed us sights and took us shopping and was very patient, considerate and kind to take us everywhere we wanted to go. We highly recommend Lalith for anyone who wants to come and see Sri Lanka. He is an extremely conscientious driver and we feel safe around him. Thank you Lalith and we wish you all the very best. We treasure the wonderful memories of Sri Lanka and so grateful for your wonderful services taking care of us throughout.

Best tour guide in Sri Lanka and would say best of all countries I’ve been! Lalith is a person that works with passion and you notice that in every detail. He planned us a whole week tour around Sri Lanka. Places to visit and hotels were excellent. You really feel your are in the best hands traveling with Lalith in Sri Lanka. We also met her family and stayed one night in his hotel. There were so kind.

We spend more than 10 days with Lalith and his family and we had the most wonderful vaccation ever. We were shown the most beautiful places across the island, always felt safe and experienced the real local life. We cant wait to come back and enjoy another great trip!

Lalith was an excellent guide. Well connected and able to get good deals on hotels and rail travel. Recommend taking the train from Ella to Demodara to see the rail loop and to the garrison cemetery in Kandy. Also visit the race course in Nuwara Eliya.

My husband and I hired Lalith as our driver for the 7 days that we spent in Sri Lanka. The only disappointment we have is that we wish the trip would have been longer! 7 days was not enough.
Lalith picked us up at 2:30 a.m. from the airport and stayed with us throughout our entire journey. He is not only a great, safe driver and knowledgeable guide, but he is an incredible individual. He is honest, kind, humble, and trustworthy. Sri Lanka is a beautiful country as it is, but Lalith truly made our experience 100 times better. Everything that we asked to do, he catered to: from safari's to feeding a domesticated elephant, to eating at places where the locals eat (to only name a few). We truly got to experience real life in Sri Lanka like we wanted to.
Lalith took us throughout the cultural triangle and had wonderful recommendations for things to do, see, eat, and even hotel accommodations! He was always on time to pick us up with a smile on his face. He truly catered to us and exceeded all expectations that we had. Additionally, his van is clean, comfortable, spacious, new, and has amazing AC. I was even able to sleep peacefully in his van during our longer drives.
When we arrived in Sri Lanka, we met Lalith as our driver, but when we left Sri Lanka, we left Lalith as our friend. We cannot wait to go back and enjoy another holiday in Sri Lanka so we can get to see everything that we missed. Truly, we enjoyed it so much more than the Maldives, and I wish we would have spent more time in Sri Lanka than in the Maldives.
I highly recommend that you hire Lalith as your driver and guide. He deserves more than 5 stars! Thank you Lalith for being such a genuine, kind, wonderful human being and guide. Ayuboan :).

We spent 9 days with Lalitb traveling arroun Sri Lanka. Lalit is very good guid and careful driver. We felt very safe with his dring in the rough roads. He was attentive and flexable for all of ours requests. He explained and told us a lot about thr coutnry and the different places. He was helpful for us even after we completed to tour with him. He was very kind and host us at his home for lunch. We wormly recomend him.

We found Lalith through the excellent reviews from trip advisor. We booked him for a week to guide & drive us around Sri Lanka. We did the Yala National Park, Ella, Nuwara Eliya, Kandy & Colombo. Lalith even helped us wt hotel bookings in Yala & Kandy. He also got us front seats to watch the cultural dance in Kandy.
I must say Lalith is very professional & knowledgeable. He speaks good English, friendly & easy going too. We also felt safe with him around.
I really recommend Lalith for those looking for a guide/driver in Sri Lanka.
