Wow what can I say was amazing and worth every penny highly recommend as close to the elephants you’ll ever get amazing animals one of the two trips I’ve highly rated the other being river safari whale watching was terrible one thing to bear in mind with the elephants if your staying at Riu hotel it’s a 5 am pick up but hotel provides you packed food

He also told us a lot of interesting things about different places in Sri Lanka, showed us beautiful sights and shops, helped us to buy fruits and other things!🥰We liked Sri Lanka sooo much that we'll visit it again!! 🥰🫶

Incredible family company. We had an amazing experience with Susantha (Wasantha’s brother), who took us all around Sri Lanka from Colombo to Sigiriya and down to the south, always organising the best plans and adjusting to our requests. Much welcoming and 10/10 experience.

We had a dream stay in Mahoora ! Everything is exceptional! The perfect location right on the border of Wilpattu National Park. The tents are well equipped, and the camp is very well laid out and maintained. The activities on offer are superb: dinner around the campfire, wildlife walks, tea tasting, cooking classes, ... and off course the safari excursions !!! Departing at 5:30 am to explore Wilpattu, our guide was brilliant. With 30 years' experience, he knows nature like the back of his hand. He spotted animals with impressive ease and took his time so that we could photograph them from the best angles. We saw two leopards, crocodiles, peacocks, deer, buffalo, birds, monkeys, bats... We loved the experience. A big plus for dinner around the fire with the starry sky, the sounds of nature. And the staff were very attentive to our needs and always ready to make the stay even more enjoyable. A big thank you to the whole team, very professional, discreet and always available and responsive. I 100% recommend this safari camp for your stay in Wilpattu, where you'll be immersed in nature.

Today we went on a 4 hour cycle tour throug the area of Habarana and of was just so wonderful! Our guide Asanka showed us lovely birds and we cycled through rural farm area. We visites local people and experience there way of living.. great time and at the end just a wonderful lunch ( so good jammie) and lady of the kitchen showed us how to make sambal, curry and coconot Milk Go for it if you can!

We have loved our first travelling holiday. We booked Rajindu Tours and Manju was our guide. He was brilliant from start to end. He collected us from the airport and was there ready and waiting for us with his sign. His car is comfortable with air conditioning and we always felt safe with him. His English is very good and he also speaks French, German etc. We sent him our itinerary in advance and we based our tour around this with a few changes where he suggested swapping activities around or adding stop offs in on the way somewhere. We wouldn't have seen these places without Manju! We met Raji at the end of our trip who drove us to the airport. We are very grateful to them for making our trip so easy and fun. They are a lovely family - you won't regret booking with them 😊 5* service. Thank you!

We had an amazing time exploring Sri Lanka’s beautiful national parks and stunning beaches with our brilliant tour guide Wasantha Silva. This was our third trip with Wasantha and he planned the perfect holiday for us which included returning to some of our favourite spots and also visiting some wonderful places that were new to us too. The biggest highlight of our trip was seeing seven leopards in three days at Yala National Park thanks to the eagle eyes of Wasantha and our excellent Yala jeep driver Tharanga! We also enjoyed some incredible elephant sightings (along with lots of other amazing wildlife) at Udawalawe and Minneriya National Parks as well as at Gal Oya National Park, which is much more off the beaten track. At Gal Oya you can do a wonderful boat safari and we were lucky enough to see elephants swimming in the lake. We bookended our safaris with beach time at the beautiful Tangalle and Trincomalee beaches, making our holiday the perfect mix of wildlife adventures and sun, sea and sand! Wasantha’s love of his country, and particularly its wildlife, is inspiring and throughout our trip Wasantha went above and beyond to make sure we had an extra special holiday full of wonderful Sri Lankan hospitality and unique local experiences. We stayed at some of the loveliest homestays and friendliest beachside hotels, and on every safari Wasantha and our brilliant jeep drivers did their very best to ensure we had as many amazing wildlife encounters as possible. We are regular travellers and this really was one of our favourite holidays! We had an excellent walking and street food tour with Sri Lanka Day Tours. We picked the evening tour and I think it’s the best pick out of the two options. We did this tour after a 14 day Sri Lanka exploration and was thinking we have seen it all. We are so glad to be proven wrong. We saw completely different aspects of the country by doing this. We highly recommend this tour.
