Nuwan picked me up at the airport at 2am then drove my friend and me around Sri Lanka for 10 days. We went from Colombo up to Mannar, saw the flamingoes which had arrived, then on to Jaffna, the capital of the northern Tamil heartlands. The Northern Province has a different vibe to the better known south and centre of the country. The bird life, much of it aquatic, was sublime. There are military roadblocks everywhere but with Westerners in the car they rarely stop you. Then we headed back down south, through flat lands that were ravaged by the civil war, to the hill country and tea plantations around Nuwara Elia and Huputale before we drove back to Colombo. Nuwan then drove me back to the airport for a 4am flight. He was reliable, pleasant, resourceful and safe. And great company. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He always tried to accommodate us, and as he knows his country inside out he often knew good places to eat along the way. I cant recommend him highly enough.

This was so reliable, helpful and extremely convenient. Nuwan made moving around a rather seamless experience. He was always on time, flexible and extremely accommodating in every way. Everything was organized with precision and plans were executed according to my personal needs and ideas on the trip. Traveling was comfortable as the driving was very safe and very informative. Everything about the tour with Sam was perfect, the itinerary was filled with different experiences covering different areas of Sri Lanka. Sam was also a great tour companion where he showed professionalism, care, dedication, and a great sense of humor (we had a lot of laughs on road trips!) Touring in Sri Lanka is sensational, but Sam's help, guidance, and presence surely made the trip more fun and put my mind at ease when it came to trip logistics. I was just having fun and he was taking care of the trip details fully.

Nuwan drove me and a friend from Colombo to Kandy Nutella and beyond visiting mountains, te plantations, and then down to Mirissa and round to Bentota and back to Colombo. He was friendly, efficient and good fun to be with us, always going further than he needed to give us a great experience, looking after our luggage, finding shops and other things for us and then finally driving me to the airport. He also knows a lot about Sri Lanka, acting as a guide and commentator on Lankan history, politics and people. Can’t recommend him highly enough.

Last week I used My Tour Lanka twice on the West Coast of Sri Lanka and to be honest I wish I had employed them earlier. Anu always arrived a little early and his car was roomy and he drove cautiously. Nothing was a problem including detours. I am returning in July 2023 and have their no. on my list.

The driver Sam was recommended to me by a fellow traveller as the best of the island. He agreed on short notice to drive me across the island to the airport through curfew „the morning after“, and I felt safe throughout, passed his number to all remaining travellers immediately. ISTUTI 🕊

Sri Lanka a small island in the indian ocean, just next to Maldives is a place you must visit. Blue water sea with white sand beaches shaded with coconut trees, up country with cold weather.mountains tops covered with tea bushes and beautiful flowers. wild life safaries are at its best with wild elephants ,tigers and bears. water falls ,rivers and religious places are not to miss. Sri lankan food is delicious. packages are available to suit your wallet.friiendly ,innocenit ,smiling people waiting to welcome you.
